They have caring and dedicated staff. A beautiful facility with a huge inside dining area and, large outdoor area for BBQs and events. Their recreation area sizable for concerts and group games, with smaller rooms and space for small gatherings. Lots going on.

The Four Freedoms House of Seattle is a wonderful relic of the past. A legacy of FDR/LBJ social liberalism, HUD and the “Great Society”, public housing for seniors. Originally intended as a union retirement home, it is solidly built on Bitterlake’s shore, conveniently located next to a mini mall and on bus lines, a block from Aurora N. just south of Shoreline. The Broadview library is within walking distance, Bitterlake Community Center and playfield just down the street.

I am excited to be helping my parents move into this beautiful community. They found the independent cottages to be a wonderful option. Meals and activities are a short walk away in the Lodge. All of the employees that I have met have been friendly and helpful! The only reason that I am not giving it a five star review is because they have not been there long enough Ill review again in 6 months. UPDATE: It has been 8 months now and my parents absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, caregivers and staff are friendly patient and caring. They are currently independent and have their privacy, but know that if they need help in any way, it is available. We strongly recommend this home!

This has been a wonderful transition to an active and social community for my 79 year old father, a very social retired chemist. He had visited several other assisted living locations, but was discouraged by the nursing home vibe, was unwilling to leave his rented home. After several medical close calls, we were referred to this location. My dad loved the very active fishing club, the rustic apartment like setting, and the very active residents.
I and my siblings were very impressed by Dave, one of the managers caring assistance with facilitating my dad’s visits and transitions. My Dad loves this place! He likes his first floor patio apartment, his freedom to come and go, the flexible mealtimes, and the close shopping center, cafe’s and most importantly, serious bass, trout and steelhead fishing. We appreciate the medication management program and the easy ability to increase assisted living services as my Dad ages. Fortunately, he’s acting 10 years younger since he’s moved to an active community, rather than his isolation in his own home. We’re thrilled

Arbor Ridge is in a very nice location and quiet neighborhood. The 2-level apartments are very clean. They have a community area where you can go cook if you want. It’s a place where I’d like to go and live myself. During my visit, I wanted to talk to somebody there. But the only ones that I got to talk to where the residents, because the staff wouldn’t even come out of the office. The residents love it there and wouldn’t live any place else.
