This is one great senior living complex. Fantastic amenities, friendly people who enjoy interacting with the residents. They offer a real restaurant on the first floor, not just a cafeteria, and there are even guest suites to accommodate visiting families. Highly recommended.

I love living here except for one huge complaint…the food. The menu is limited, which Is understandable, but also not very appealing. The food is over cooked & served either luke warm or cold. They skimp on things like pasta sauce & garlic bread. Often run out of food or butter, syrup etc. Food is reason for 3 stars & if rating was based on food alone would give it 1 star.

I've been to Revel Lacey several times for events. From the first time, I was very impressed with the community and its team members, Carrie and Peter. The apartment homes are spacious, lovely and modern. I've also had the opportunity to meet many other future residents and they have all been fantastic as well. The staff there have been very helpful and informative. I believe Revel Lacey would be a great place to call home.

Revel has had such a positive impact on the city of Lacey. Every time I visit Revel the residents are smiling, the staff is so nice and the food is fabulous. Revel gives seniors in the community to stay independent and still have a life full of activities!

I had received an invitation to tour Revel next Wednesday. Instead, I showed up yesterday. I was in a MVA that scrambled my remaining brain cells and have a tendency to be a week early or late at times. Peter, the very fabulous sales manager had me and my friend all to himself, (or is it the other way around) all day. I had a hoot! I met every Tom, Dick and Harry, every June, Denise and Sherry I encountered. The executive chef, Frank, took some time with me and we will be sharing war stories of the restaurant business in the future. Every one I met, be it staff or occupants, were the happiest people I have seen in forever. Frank, is there something in the Kool-Aide? Or is just what the folks who live there reiterated over and over, that there was no place like this place any place other then here? I am betting on the latter..After enjoying a lovely fruit and cheese plate in the bar (yup, a real adult bar bar), we set out to view various floor plans, singing show tunes, telling humorous anecdotes, and enjoying ourselves immensely. The halls have lovely nature photographs to use for landmarks, should one get way too happy at happy hour. Occupants also have the most charming entryways complete with a greeter holding treats for passers by consumption so even if lost, starvation is not an issue. We kept bumping into housecleaning, so a trail of bread crumbs wont work here.The units are nice and airy, well thought out, have balconies and everything is new, new, new. Revel has only been open for ten months, but, to my observations, kinks are not being still ironed out. Speaking of ironing, each unit has its own washer and dryer, a definite plus if you have ever had a loved one in any other assisted living facility where laundry is jammed into giant washers tighter then rush hour on a Japanese train, and nothing ever makes its way back to the original owner. Housekeeping comes in once a week to do that voodoo that they do so well. While enjoying a massage or taking care of those precious tresses, your apartment is getting put into ship shape status; clean towels, sheets, laundry, the works.Should you desire, you can head to the art room, the theatre, find a book at the library, walk your dog to the leash free zone ( there are plenty of poop bags dispensers around the premises), have the car service take you on a jaunt, head out with new friends to those wide open spaces, or on weekends, enjoy a swim at the Olympic sized pool next door, or plant some flowers or herbs in the many raised beds available. Then, as if those choices were not enough to make you dizzy, activities are going on at all hours. There is a gym to work off those delicious meals, snacks and in between snacks. The kitchen is open 24, 7, and they do know how to rattle those pots and pans. And, hold onto your chair, Room Service. Definitely my idea of camping! Having a double shot latte brought to my door is a fine start to my day. Also, unlike cruise ships and other facilities, NO assigned sitting or dinner shifts. So, no one is stuck with the same dinner company whose table manners made enjoying a meal impossible on the first night, and on the fifth night, completely unbearable. Tipping is not allowed, yet service is outstanding.Then, we came to the folding money part of the conversation. While the initial slap on the head, jaw agape, numbers are floated gently in front of you, sit back and take a moment to mentally add up what your cost of living is now. The only expense not covered is your phone. No homeowners insurance, or sewer, lights, cable, wi-fi, food, maintenance, housecleaning, and, unless you are firmly attached to your own mode of transportation ,no auto expenses either. There is a car service that will take you to anywhere within a ten mile radius for free. If your destination is beyond that, the cost is less then a taxi. For field trips, a shuttle is Johnnie on the spot. Mary S. Munro.

I was here before and due to my circumstances had to move back to my house. Since then, my husband of 30 yrs passed away. Now I am back making this my home. Have old friends and new, only here 3 weeks to socialize before this virus. I am still working as an ICU RN and Revel is my home. Cant wait for things to be back to normal. Holding down the fort. We originally first went to Revel as part of a mystery food and home tour. Had no idea it even existed. Talk about being pleasantly surprised and wonderfully amazed. As someone who has elderly parents and in-laws, and who also works in the healthcare field Ive visited pretty much all the larger senior facilities in Thurston county, and a few in Pierce. At Revel, the service and accommodations cannot be beat for non-assisted living. My father and I made several visits to get the feel and tempo of the people who live there and those that cater to them...and I do mean catered! There has not been one staff member from July of this year to now (Dec) that has been anything but pleasant, courteous, helpful, and cheerful . The outside grounds boasts a magazine worthy covered fireplace seating area, a separate BBQ grill area (that staff cleans and maintains), and yet another area for outside dining. The inside common areas include the restaurant, the bar, the concierge desk, the movie theater, the spa, the salon, the gym, several little library, game alcoves, and a lounge with fireplace. There is an activities director, offsite trips, and on-site parties. I jokingly call this place club med now because there are so many things to choose from depending on your likes. And, if it doesnt exist, but its a good idea the staff at Revel are happy to give things a try at least one, and twice if it was well received. Their floorplans and color schemes are fresh and modern, and the dining menu lends itself to the mercy of local resources for that farm to table experience. Yes, the price point is on the high side, but compare it to Patriots Landing...or tally up all the amenities and what it would cost to add them to your current life-style, and you might be surprise find that its affordable. I would really recommend swinging by and asking Peter for a tour...but be careful or you just might find yourself putting down a deposit to move it. My dad did!

Yesterday, a friend and I came to check out Revel at the recommendation of another friend. Even though I am about five years away from living in assisted living, I was fascinated by the beauty, quality and amenities offered here. The safety features in the apartment homes were of a particular interest to me with the state of the art fire safety, a kitchen range that would shut off automatically if left unattended to each apartment, home that has its own washer and dryer. Of particular interest to me were the dining room and bistro that was open to serve all day long with food that was prepared from scratch and all with healthy choices. Carrie was a delight as she gave us the tour, even knowing that we are a few years away from needing such accommodations. She made me feel like it was going to be such a privilege to reach those elder golden years with as much grace as is possible. I would highly recommend Revel to anyone considering assisted living for themselves or a loved one or friend.

I just returned from my first cross country ski experience!Ill be 80 this year. My husband and I felt it was time we simplified our life to make room for more life experiences and fewer living responsibilities.After visiting and exploring many different living choices we chose Revel Lacey. The six pillars of wellness seem to meet our life hopes and needs. We are pleased with the excellent food, the menu, the hours, and the setting. We have happy hour here every Friday afternoon. This gives all residents a specific time to gather and socialize before dinner. Loneliness in the elderly can be a big concern in our society and this time meets that need.Mobility is very important in our age group. The fitness center here is open 24 hours a day. Every day the wellness director leads a fitness class to meet various fitness goals.While chatting with the wellness director a resident mentioned an interest in a cross country skiing adventure. The director arranged the time and place and off we went! A very successful day of fun adventure socializing and physical activity. We are planning A return trip after we complete a couple of weeks of physical conditioning! We found that skiing is more taxing than it looks.I give five stars to Revel Lacey, and their commitment to the over 55 age group.

I recently moved into Revel Lacey. I was welcomed by residents and staff. I havent met a person who didnt go out of their way to be friendly, helpful and kind. The staff is accommodating and efficient. They make every effort to give residents not only what they need, but what they want, as well. I am soooo glad I chose to move to Revel Lacey. I like not having to share laundry facilities, as I did in my last senior home, the floor plan of my new apartment, (I chose a 1 bedroom), the delicious cuisine, the beautiful decoration, inside and the lovely grounds outside, the activities that are offered, the willingness to help from the maintenance staff, but most of all, the friendliness of all I have encountered. I am happy and grateful to be here.

Over the last few months, my wife and I visited over a dozen senior and assisted living facilities with little luck in finding someplace we felt comfortable moving into. This was discouraging, because we felt we needed to make a move because of a variety of reasons, including health. Then we stumbled onto Revel Lacey, and I am not even sure how it happened. We made an appointment to visit and had a great visit with Rob, Peter and Carrie. They answered all of our questions and were a great relaxed and friendly team. After the tour, which was impressive, even though the place was still under construction, we both had a strong sense that this was what we had been looking for. I wrote them a deposit check, we picked out the unit we wanted to move into and the whirlwind of downsizing and moving was off and running. It has been a hectic few weeks, but we are almost there. Our current plan is to move in on August 13th. Cant wait.

We have been working with this organization for the past 3 months as we have evaluated all of our options from assisted living locations to a retirement community. This organization and staff is TOP NOTCH in professionalism, respect, kindness and sensitivity to moving from a home youve lived in all your life into something brand new and foreign. The team just does an amazing job of understanding what your needs are wo over selling or pushing you into something that you may not want to do. The property is fantastic, new, fresh and the planned curriculum for the residents looks to be just great.Id highly recommend anyone looking at retirement communities to visit this team and property. Its truly great. Were looking forward to moving my mother in as soon as it opens in July! Thank you.

Revel was recommended to me by a friend that will be moving there upon completion of the property. The staff has been more than accommodating and I have special needs which didnt even phase them in the least. I have viewed the property and it is going to be beautiful. Many amenities (even those not listed) are far beyond what most properties offer. It is apparent that much thought and care has gone into making the living experience at Revel a level above the rest. I look forward to a continuing and flourishing relationship in a new home at Revel.
