I visited this place as a provider to see someone. I was blown by the fact how excellent this place is. Staff are very professional, friendly and polite. The facility looks a law firm than Healthcare facility because it is super clean and best views of the sound. Their concierge head Bonnie is to the next level in customer service skill. Debbie and all other staff deserve recognition of their hard work making this facility an outstanding place of care.

I visited several sites over the years before choosing Judson Park. I am absolutely happy with my choice and heartily recommend it to all my friends. I spent two weeks here for rehab on a broken leg. The faccility is super clean, the workers always had smiles on their faces, and the food was surprisingly good!

My husband came home today after spending 4 weeks at the Rehab and 12 days in the hospital. When he first arrived, he couldn't stand without 2-person assistance. They started working with him and he now walks with his walker independently. When I went for tour of the facility it had a very welcoming appearance and staff was available to answer all my questions. The building has no odors. I was a nurse for 52 years and my husband had been a nurse for over 40 years. I was impressed by the staff attention to him and monitoring him. I wasn't sure he would be able to come home again but staff got him up and moving. The staff from the kitchen, CG's and PT & OT all made it possible for him to get home again. I can't express how much I appreciate all they did.

I should have left a review sooner but here we are. WARNING I would not trust my parent or grandparent in the hands of Judson park nurses and staff. My nana resided here for YEARS and despite absolutely draining her bank account with constant increases in costs (with her status not changing) to the final straw was them NOT CALLING A DR WHEN SHE HAD A STROKE. They said it was just a uti and her stroke went untreated for more than 24 hours and she lost all ability to speak, walk, or do anything she was able to do previously. Prior to the stroke she was almost fully capable with a few elderly person traits of course but she had her faculties. They were so dismissive & with us living out of state there was little we could do. The minute we were made aware she was moved out & into a care facility and I genuinely wish I could sue Judson park for their handling of my nana’s care, because of them my nana spent her last years struggling. Nonchalant, can’t be bothered attitudes & lack of care to say the least. If you want your family member to have the same treatment & have their money absolutely stolen, put them here (please don’t do that)

Judson park is by far the best place hands down! My father in law recently had to spend a few weeks to recover and get PT. The staff was so friendly and gave updates when they could and answered any questions in a timely manner. If we ever need to have skilled nursing again, we will gladly choose them!!! Thank you wonderful Judson park staff!!

Following 2 & 1/2 years of reviewing every CCRC in Oregon and Washington my husband and I finally chose Judson Park, a Life Plan Retirement Community overlooking Puget Sound. This relatively small establishment prides itself in being open, inclusive, caring, and above all in encouraging residents to participate in the planning and execution of all aspects of their community life. Staff here are referred to as 'Team Members" but in essence they are more like family committed to ensuring that our living here is a positive experience . Being named by US News and World Report as one of the top 7 Retirement Communities in the United States is just icing on the cake!

If you're considering sending a loved one here, think again. Seems like the call buttons don't work, nurses seem burnt out and over it, and witnessed an elderly man attmept to eat a plastic flower centerpiece at lunch. Seems like nurses are always around, only to ignore the call button. Your loved one needs the restroom right away? They will most likely end up soiling themselves because no nurses come to help Doctors and PT are great, only reason why I'm giving 2 stars. Overall care mid.

This is a wonderful place to live! Outstanding staff, excellent food, lots to do. My wife and I have been here 3 years, and it was the smartest move we ever made. Safe, secure, beautiful apartments with great views of Puget Sound. The monthly fees are less than our expenses were at our home, with utilities, homeowners fees, insurance, repairs, etc..

My mother has lived at Judson for over 10 years. First in independent living and now in the Grove. When she was in independent living she enjoyed the many opportunities for socializing and intellectual development. Now she is in The Grove (memory care). She is content. The staff is caring and competent and there are numerous activities to help people with dementia stay engaged with life.

My wife and I have lived here for three years and are very happy with Judson Park. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful place and full of friendly residents with lots of activities, a good gym and the opportunity to take many trips throughout the year. We are especially impressed with the caring way the staff treats our residents.

This place was a 3.1stars. 3x's better for my family member vs another nursing home near by. You will still need to help who ever is in there(if in P.T. and relearning things) but its deffinatly a step up from fr Stafford(Sorry Stafford I have to tell the truth). It costs a bit more but if you have it($)DO IT. Sad thing is through all this experience, only some nursing /rehabilitation home(s)work. And for best bet u will Need freinds&family to help.ALLOT! Almost all facilities are either short staffed or dont have the 1 on 1's and consistent monitoring as a hospital does. Seems in some ways like a way to collect thousands OF $$ on a person's death bed, if they dont have the structure of family/friends. You will have to be there for assistance, learn the PT and other things b cuz no 1 will do it for them more than usually 1 time per day @ most 5xs a wk. Treatments basic and up to patient(s) & family/freiends to follow through. If you leave them there by them selves not mu will happen. And they may never get to where the drs and pt places talk so easily about. But this is the bestbetter 1 in area imo

From the first moment we entered we realized this was not the usual senior living community. It felt like a warm and inviting home, the residents and staff smiled and warmly greeted each other, people were caring, and the facility was bright and airy.

We have been most impressed with Judson Park since the day we moved in. The staff is most accommodating and friendly. It is obvious much thought has gone into the activities whether it be fitness classes, intellectual growth opportunities, or social functions. Judson is fortunate to have an outstanding chef who manages to offer a variety of tastefully prepared choices. It has become a special home to us!

I have been a happy resident of Judson Park for over 30 years. I have been cared for by most attentive staff, and I am safe. I have many, many opportunities for intellectual and societal experiences and enrichment. My privacy is respected but when I leave my apartment, I am embraced by a community of the most interesting people. There a so many things to do. I can leave to wander the world, and I am very glad to return "home". This is a wonderful place to enjoy the last years of one's life, to feel that it is a life worth living.

My husband an I moved into Independent Living at Judson Park 10/31/2019 and we are happily at home! For us this is certainly God's provision for us as a couple. We wanted a continuing care community which would be able to care for our future needs and allow us to age in place together. I see that happening all around us. I especially appreciate the staff and their long term commitment to caring for the residents here. Many have been here 20 years plus. I enjoy the opportunities for socializing and for participating in volunteering to be of service to our community. The emphasis on continuing growth intellectually, spiritually and physically is an encouraging challenge to age well, and it's FUN! The warm spirit here from staff and residents was evident the first time we walked in the door and is even stronger after 8 months here.

My Godmother had to move from her home to Judson Park and absolutely LOVES it there. She had a beautiful view from her West Seattle home, and the view from her top floor apartment is even better! Her physically disabled sister was at Judson Park for a couple of years before she passed away a long time ago and they treated her very well. It's nice that tenants have different levels of care as they age, so they are familiar with their surroundings.

When I contacted Jeri, the Case Manager at Judson Park, she was unsure that they could provide a positive outcome for my friend Rosie. There was a valid question about Rosie's ability to survive even a few more days. I presented my case for Rosie and the realistic expectations that I had for her. Jeri took a chance on Rosie. She was admitted. The staff evaluated her and presented a plan for her development and recovery. Everyone at Judson Park took an interest in Rosie and has made their best effort to support her in her recovery. There have been regular consultations with the case manager, social worker, director of nursing, nurses and physical therapists. Everyone has communicated their needs, concerns, and expectations for Rosie. This level of communication and teamwork at Judson Park has resulted in a better outcome that we had hoped for in Rosie. She will be discharged tomorrow to go home with high expectations in her quality of life. I am convinced that if Rosie was at another local care facility, she would not be going home at all. She even likes all of the food at Judson Park! When I toured the facility I was not particularly impressed by the physical nature of the building. What made the difference are the people that staff the facility. The people have made the very positive difference over what may have been Rosie's last days. I cannot overstate how positive that this experience has been.

When my father in law was transferred here from the hospital, he was not taking food or water and was not responsive. The very next day, he was clean shaven, hydrated, alert and trying to talk. He is still very ill and that won't change; he is in his last days. But at least they'll be comfortable, in an attractive room and a place where they provide good care. Everyone is friendly and attentive-- from housekeepers to nursing staff, admitting staff and the doctor.

My mother moved to Judson 11 years ago, and during that time I have visited her regularly. Judson Park is a high quality facility that has gotten top-accreditation, but what I like most about it, is the quality of the staff. Everyone without exception is kind and appreciative to the residents. There are some 250 residents and the staff make it a point to know and greet each resident by name. The feeling of community is great.
