Bonaventure has the best ED! And the staff are super caring. I love all the activities, trips to the store, and the food is now amazing

I love going to visit with our grandparents and being apart of the activities. It’s so much fun and the employees go over and beyond with dressing up and all the fun foods they make. And there’s a super cute lady who hands out the chocolate covered ritz cracker cookies. I don’t normally eat strangers food but I now love this little lady like my own grandparents. That’s what’s so cool with the activities is that we all get to know each other and the head boss Kahea is great with the residents. She even volunteered to be the person to get dunked for the dunk tank. and I love how all the residents always look so good and always tell me stories about stuff. It’s so cute

My mother-in-law recently moved in and prior to her move we looked at other places around town. Bonaventure being the first facility. We went to a couple other assisted living facilities, and nothing can top what we observed at Bonaventure. We observed caring staff from the moment we walked in to the moment we said our goodbye's. Staff were attentive, friendly and the food thus far? ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING! You can tell their chef enjoys what they do. Thank you for all you do.

It’s hard to put into words what this assisted living community has meant to our family. But from the moment we walked in, something in our hearts said, This is the right place. What struck me first was the kindness. Not the rehearsed, professional kind”real kindness. They don’t just care for the residents they love them. And that makes all the difference. Every day, we see our loved one being treated with dignity, respect, and warmth. We see them laugh again. The team here somehow manages to balance professional care with the tenderness of family, and that is a gift we will never take for granted. The community feels alive. There is music, conversation, and so much gentle encouragement. Recently our Aunt and Uncle were residents at Bonaventure and our family could not have been happier with their care. Their dedication, patience, and kindness did not go unnoticed. I hate to say it but Covid, heavy turnover & a change in upper management has really impacted the quality of care here. I think they are on their 4th director in 4 years. I hope they give the current director a chance to turn this around by improving the rate of turnover, offering creative ways to engage residents, and bring service back to previous levels.

Having trouble getting assistance & acknowledged now that we've been paying an incredible amount of $. Prices are comparable to area, but also need co-operation from the facility for the best care.

I brought my daughter here for Halloween to trick or treat and she had a blast. I loved seeing the residents passing out candy to all the kids. It was wonderful seeing residents and staff interacting with everyone that walked through the door. I will definitely be back for more events.

I would never recommend this community to anyone. After 3 years of living there we finally moved my father out. The overall care level is ok but the management is awful. They regularly have no idea what is going on, they dont communicate to each other and they dont communicate or respond to family. The attitude of the management staff is rude and unhelpful. The living in conditions my father was in I would never wish upon anyone and the staff just allows it. They dont raise concerns to family members for help or address anything. While the property offers some nice amenities and has a good exterior appearance once you've been there beyond a visit its not a great place to think of family members living in.

I moved to Bonaventure, with my mother, who is 92. We have had a wonderful experience together here. When you enter the building, there is always a beautiful staff member to greet you, and answer any questions you may have. Everyone of the staff here are so very caring and helpful. If a problem develops, anyone of them will find a way to solve it. Julie is an amazing activities director. She keeps this place full of fun, with so much enthusiasm. Her assistant Wanda, always jumps right in to keep the friendly fun going. Joe, the bus driver, is also amazing, he makes everyone feel so special, and is so willing to help everyone here out, no matter what we need. Colton, Haley, and Cassandra, keep the dining room hoppin, they are truly loved. We also have a team of nursing that can handle everything possible and impossible. Everything is clean and well maintained, inside and out. I will add, the residents here are the most loving and caring folks, we just have, the best community!

The receptionist went out of her way to help me . I stopped for directions , i opened the door and there were caretakers and resident's dancing away it was big amd clean . All the resident's were happy and they are so sweet I am going to try amd volunteer soon;)

We visited my grandparents and went to their Paris event. What a fun and exciting night. Lots of delicious food and entertainment. My grandpa even danced a little!! I'm so happy they are in a place they love and enjoy.

Highly recommended. My mother's been at BV for years and loves the caring community and all that the administration and staff does. They deliver everything that they promise and go out of their way to resolve problems that any organization like this face from time to time. The facility itself is clean and pleasing. High ceilings and warm furnishings. They recently updated the art in throughout the complex and it looks great.
