I hate to say it but Covid, heavy turnover & a change in upper management has really impacted the quality of care here. I think they are on their 4th director in 4 years. I hope they give the current director a chance to turn this around by improving the rate of turnover, offering creative ways to engage residents, and bring service back to previous levels.

I brought my daughter here for Halloween to trick or treat and she had a blast. I loved seeing the residents passing out candy to all the kids. It was wonderful seeing residents and staff interacting with everyone that walked through the door. I will definitely be back for more events.

Visited Bonaventure with my kids preschool last Christmas caroling. They loved it so much we visited this year for Halloween. The residents and staff were all so welcoming, kind and gave the kids candy all while giving them a warm place to trick or treat! Definitely visiting again soon.

I would never recommend this community to anyone. After 3 years of living there we finally moved my father out. The overall care level is ok but the management is awful. They regularly have no idea what is going on, they dont communicate to each other and they dont communicate or respond to family. The attitude of the management staff is rude and unhelpful. The living in conditions my father was in I would never wish upon anyone and the staff just allows it. They dont raise concerns to family members for help or address anything. While the property offers some nice amenities and has a good exterior appearance once you've been there beyond a visit its not a great place to think of family members living in.

While employed at BSL of EW I have had nothing but good experiences and encounters. The staff, management and residents are all so pleasant and truly form a great family and community. Its always a great day at Bonaventure!

My mom and dad moved into Bonadventure about 4 months ago with their little dog Annie. It's just been a delightful, happy experience for both my folks and for Annie. The staff and the residents are so loving. We hear nothing but good reports. My parents are in their 90s and look younger and more fit since their move! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our cherished parents! We're all so grateful!

The receptionist went out of her way to help me . I stopped for directions , i opened the door and there were caretakers and residents dancing away it was big amd clean . All the residents were happy and they are so sweet I am going to try amd volunteer soon;)

I moved to Bonaventure, with my mother, who is 92. We have had a wonderful experience together here. When you enter the building, there is always a beautiful staff member to greet you, and answer any questions you may have. Everyone of the staff here are so very caring and helpful. If a problem develops, anyone of them will find a way to solve it. Julie is an amazing activities director. She keeps this place full of fun, with so much enthusiasm. Her assistant Wanda, always jumps right in to keep the friendly fun going. Joe, the bus driver, is also amazing, he makes everyone feel so special, and is so willing to help everyone here out, no matter what we need. Colton, Haley, and Cassandra, keep the dining room hoppin, they are truly loved. We also have a team of nursing that can handle everything possible and impossible. Everything is clean and well maintained, inside and out. I will add, the residents here are the most loving and caring folks, we just have, the best community!

We visited my grandparents and went to their Paris event. What a fun and exciting night. Lots of delicious food and entertainment. My grandpa even danced a little!! I'm so happy they are in a place they love and enjoy.

Highly recommended. My mother's been at BV for years and loves the caring community and all that the administration and staff does. They deliver everything that they promise and go out of their way to resolve problems that any organization like this face from time to time. The facility itself is clean and pleasing. High ceilings and warm furnishings. They recently updated the art in throughout the complex and it looks great.

Been inside for a tour and to visit a friend. Seems very well appointed and clean with a caring and friendly staff. I also live adjacent to this facility and I must say sometimes at night there is a significant amount of noise coming from the overnight staff taking out trash or simply going home. At 2am it would be courteous to try and be a bit more silent.
