How We Ranked the Best Senior Living in Utah
So, how did we come up with our ranking of the best mature adult living facilities in Utah? Some of the process and factors we considered include:
- We took a close look at reviews on multiple websites including Facebook, Google, and numerous other pages specific to senior living in Utah.
- After this, we visited the Utah Department of Health to make sure the community did not have any complaints lodged against it. Above all, we want everyone to be safe.
- Finally, we also thought about the price of the assisted living home to make sure it was as affordable as possible.
The average monthly cost of an assisted living center in Utah is $3,400. This includes amenities, basic services, meals, and housing. If you need more assistance, such as memory care or nursing homes, the price can be much higher, but this is an average number. Keep in mind that the more amenities and services the community offers, the higher the price will be. If you find a home for aging adults with a relatively low price tag, make sure you are still getting access to everything you need.

Pheasant Run ,now The Peaks was a wonderful place for my mother. The care given was exceptional and she was loved by her caregivers. Per my dad, a resident: As I begin each morning of my 97th year, I count my many blessings, certainly among them is living so comfortably here at Sunrise! Surrounded by cherished neighbors, served by caring, capable employees, meals 3 times daily, 7days a week, a major variety of food, all excellent. Daily cared for by employees, who see to my (and all) needs: washing clothes, medications, etc. Yes, one of my greates blessings is living here at Sunrise.

Amazing, kind, compassionate staff, nice temp control private rooms, dining area, smoking area. I’m from out of state and the administrator found a way to help us with accommodation. The peaks assisted living is the only place I would feel comfortable keeping my loved ones. Last year, my family had to make the very difficult decision to bring my great uncle to reside at the peaks. While this was a very stressful choice to make, Camille and many of the other wonderful staff there were attentive to all of his needs up to his passing.

My in-laws stayed at Chancellor Gardens (mother in law in memory care and father in law in assisted living) and they had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely respectful and supportive. They seemed to truly love and care for our parents. Some of them even showed up to their funerals- that is going above and beyond. The facility was clean and didn’t have that “nursing home smell.” Visitors are welcome and encouraged (which is a good sign). We can’t say enough positive about Chancellor Gardens.

I just want say that Escalante at Coventry is a great place with wonderful people. My sister was in the Memory care. She could be a handful yet the staff always treated her calmly and with dignity. They had her doing activities, painting, projects interacting with her. I feel that this gave her a sense of living not just existing. The staff are Very Special. I know how hard it could be at times but they never let it interfere with caring for my sister. They always kept updated and answered my questions. In her last days they were so good to her and me.
