My mother has been at Capitol Hill Assisted & Senior Living, 76 S 500 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84102for over 2 years and overall it has been a good experience. When I visited last night she got her medication on time, her side was quickly responsive to her and helped her get to bed as soon as she asked. Her aide was pleasant and kind. Her name was Lotus. I was happy to see that interaction.

What a blessing. My sister was a resident at Capitol Hill in the dementia program. Kind and workers and the upgrades they just did are so nice. I would recommend them if you're looking at assisted living.

I am a new employee here and only have good things to say. The new administration is fantastic. They go above and beyond for both employees and residents. I chose to work here because of the awesome administrator and the welcoming staff. The residents are all so kind and have made Capitol Hill feel like a second home. Need a place to live? Highly recommend. Need a job? Also highly recommend. Such a Stellar place to work!

Capitol Hill is a beautiful building in the heart of Salt City! I can tell the staff really cares about each resident. The residents have multiple opportunities daily to engage in a variety of activities. The rooms are spacious and each have a kitchenette. To top it off their meals are served restaurant style prepared by Capitol Hills personal Chef. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to retire in style.

He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help in anyway he can. If you are looking for a place to put your loved one, look no further! I loved this place from the moment I drove in to their front parking lot. The atmosphere was so hospitable. I was looking for a place for my mom, and I knew it would be a fight to get her to go to assisted living. Shes from North Carolina originally and the trees in front seemed very Carolinian. It all seemed so pleasant and just made me feel good. I know that sounds cheesy, but its true. Jano Romero was the adviser who helped us and he really went beyond the call of duty to make sure our concerns were addressed. Not only was it not a fight for my mom to agree to move there, she was ready to move in the next week. We met Brittany, the nurse on staff, also the physical therapist, the chef, and the floor CNA. It is a very welcoming environment and the apartments and very well kept. They dont look like hospital rooms or dorm rooms, they are apartments. Barbecue every Friday and daily activities help everyone to feel included, or not, if they are feeling introverted. I think those who are no longer self sufficient can still thrive in this environment and feel productive. You are not locked into a contract, so if its not your cup of tea, they only require a 30 day notice, not your firstborn son. I didnt feel they were insincere or trying to gauge me on the price, although senior care is pricey. The rates here were pretty comparable to other facilities, and some not as nice. If its time to provide extra care for your parents, (or yourself), make an appointment with Jano—hell make sure youre taken care of properly.

My mother spent the last 3 years of her life in Memory Care and it was such a blessing to our family to know that she was safe and cared for in a way that would have been impossible for us to do at home. There arent enough adjectives to describe how amazing the staff is, especially James. They treated mom as if she were family and they made sure that she stayed engaged and happy during her time there. We highly recommend the facility to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation to ours.

Capitol Hill is a Stellar Community. Ive worked with many Stellar buildings over the years, spending time with residents and staff. Its a beautiful thing to see the care, concern, and genuine love that is extended and reciprocated. We all want our loved ones to be in a safe place, living their best lives every day they have left. We want it for ourselves too... I know I do. What Ive witnessed is that the residents at the Stellar buildings have a sense of purpose, engagement, happiness, and so importantly they have a caring staff who truly want the best for the each of the residents. Stellar chooses good people. That choice.... putting someone in a position to take care of one of the most vulnerable of people, is a huge choice. They take it seriously. One person who stands out to me at Capitol Hill is their Marketing Director, Marti. She quickly responds to inquiries and to the needs of the seniors, . She has a happy, jovial, sincere and gentle way about her. She lights up a room and stands by her word.... loving seniors and advocating for them. She has found her purpose and passion. She and the many staff I know, along with their mission and extra care they give to residents, is the reason I gave Capitol Hill 5 stars. Nicely done team.

This place the employees actually care about their residence. They go above and beyond to get to know every single person there what they like, what they like to do things that they have done in their lives and overall genuinely Care about the residence that they look after. If you want your loved one treated like family from the staff go to Brookdale Senior living. We have families with their loved ones at other places and weve heard nothing but horror stories.

First I would like to thank the staff at the facility for the care and services within the assisted living and memory care units they have provided to both my elderly parents. Although there may have a few hiccups, the genuine care and understanding had been tremendous from the dining room crew to the director. Any issues myself and siblings have have been addressed, and the staff have provided great follow-up. I personally want to thank Shannon and Bobby for always being available. We could not have functioned with their guidance and attention.

This is a good facility. Although it's never easy to have to utilize an assisted living center, it is sometimes necessary. We've been very pleased with each visit with our Grandpa/father at Brookdale. He has improved so much during the time he's been there. Also, the staff has been attentive during our visits and seemed to care about his progress. We are grateful he's been in a place we felt good about.

My uncle has been living here for about 6 months. I'm impressed with the progress he has made in that time. He seems to be doing better both physically and mentally. The staff seems concerned about him and are quick to help when needed. The food and the atmosphere are commendable.

The nursing staff helped me get better. They know how to heal and the aides are so caring. Food is fantastic. I have been in a few other nursing homes and this place has the most time and love for me. They treat me like a person. I won't go anywhere else.

I am incredibly impressed with the Leadership and staff at Brookdale SLC. I have been employed by Brookdale for 2 months and find the culture and atmosphere positive and a place of healing. The nurses are great, the CNA's are attentive and loving. The food is better than another building that I have worked in or visited. The culture is what Im most happy to be associated with. The Executive Director Bobby is friendly, engaging and will work to resolve any problems. Stop in on Friday for the Prime Rib! Its amazing!
