Deciding that our mom needed 24 hour memory care help and that our dad/stepdad needed to be in an assisted living arrangement were some of the most difficult decisions we ever had to make. We also had to move them from their longtime home in eastern Oregon to Highland Glen in Utah. Highland Glen was a godsend for our family. The staffs on both the assisted living and the memory care sides were terrific. We especially appreciated Taylor and his memory care team and their work with our mom. I am also grateful to the management and all the help they provided as we settled our parents into this new stage. The facility is well thought-out and well-managed, clean and well cared for, it has many amenities, the food is good, and the staff was great. Although both of our parents are gone now, we are very grateful to this Highland Glen family.

Highland Glen review: My mother spent the final year and a half of her life in the tender care of all the delightful and compassionate caregivers at Highland Glen Memory Care. In her living and in her passing she was treated with dignity and kindness. I know she felt loved. Friendship was fostered among the members of the community. She made friends who laughed, smiled and cried with her. Those dear friends came to bid her farewell with love and tears when she died. My sisters and I were so grateful for all the opportunities we had to participate in the many social activities planned for the residents and their family members. Mother's day luncheons, Easter egg hunts, Luaus, and holiday celebrations, and car shows and BBQs, movies, and cultural events, all planned so the residents could enjoy special times with children and grandkids and whoever they love that could come. We were so grateful for all the help and support through the transition to Hospice Care and finally end of life care. I wish I could remember the names of every single person over there because I know exactly what to thank each one for. But I have a special place in my heart for Taylor Tupou. He walked us through the Hospice process step by step and he always had a smile for my mom and she was quick to return the gesture. It has been a few months now since my mother's passing and my love for Taylor and Kobi and Gaelynn and Ryann and all those who's names escape me but whose loving faces never will, won't soon be forgotten. I was so touched when the staff sent me flowers to acknowledge my loss at her passing. Beautiful people not holding anything back in the care of people I love. A few years ago they also blessed the life of my stepdad in his last months. We feel so blessed to have been a part of the Highland Glen community.

I have had the privilege first hand to see just how caring Kobi, Taylor and their staff are with the residents, they truly treat them as family, their hearts break when they have a resident pass away, why because they just lost a family member also. They communicate with families and their pharmacy as to the needs of their work family members .If you are trying to decide where you can move your loved one to and know without a doubt that they will be taken care of then I suggest 100% to look at highland Glen assisted living. We had to put my dad into assisted living and he has dementia with fair cognition at this point. The people at Highland Glen are so incredibly nice and treat the residents with such respect and love! The facility is nice and there are many activities for the residents and family members to participate in. The food is also really good and plentiful. My dad had people trying to scam him even after he went into assisted living but the people at Highland Glen were understanding and great to let us know if something seemed off with the people who would visit him. The only drawback to the facility I see is that though they try very hard to track residents well, sometimes security at the front desk is lacking and they may not always know who is entering the facility. All in all, a great place with great people and my dad is very comfortable there. That is the most important aspect of all!

Staff here is always nice and clean cut. The facility manager is on the ball and keeps everything in ship shape. Every time I go here, the back room facilities are always clean and tidy, not to mention the parts of the facility that everyone sees being nicely kept and presentable. Definitely worth considering for a future resident.

We put my mom in Highland Glen just a couple weeks ago and I have been very impressed with the care given especially during this difficult transition period. They have been very helpful especially with providing everything she needs to mange her diabetes including making sure there are low carb options for her specific needs. We researched many locations to find a home for my father. When we walked in here all my sisters and I could feel it was the right place. It has turned out to be amazing! All the employees and nurses and been so kind and helpful. He feels very loved and taken care of. The doctors that come in house are stellar. The in house PT is so convenient and kind. My dad has been at Highland Glen for two months now and it has been really great. Highland Glen is a beautiful facility and well taken care of. All of the staff are really great and kind and take great care of him. He’s always telling me what great care they take of him. His health has also improved since he moved there and I think that is due to the good food and socialization and medical care that he is getting there. Where do I even start? This facility is incredibly clean and well-maintained. Every time I walk in, it smells fresh, and the cafeteria always has something amazing cooking. From the receptionist to the nursing staff and everyone in between, the entire team is friendly, attentive, and truly caring. Whenever I visit Highland Glen, it feels like I’m back at my grandma’s house”it has such a warm and welcoming vibe. I’ve worked with this company a lot, and I have to tip my hat to the management team as a whole. Everyone here goes above and beyond”whether it’s helping residents, engaging in conversations, or ensuring everything runs smoothly. Kobi, the DON, is a great example of this, as she’s always hands-on and involved with residents, making them feel cared for and at home. Their dedication and compassion truly make a difference. My widowed sister, age 57, has FTD and had to be placed in a facility just this past weekend. I am SO grateful that we chose Highland Glen. I have yet to meet one member of the staff that wasn't incredibly helpful, friendly, kind, compassionate, and professional. The facility is clean and lovely, with fireplaces, cozy seating areas, beautiful spaces to eat, garden spaces with fountains, and a lovely piano that residents are welcome to play. Activities are provided, even for the memory care residents. She has adjusted far better than we ever imagined she would. She says it is "great!" and, as her family, we couldn't agree more. I had so many concerns going into this transition for her, but those have all been put to rest and I feel at peace. I couldn't possibly more highly recommend this facility.

Highland Glen is an amazing community. One of the best indicators is the number of employees that have worked there for multiple years. Just ask Taylor, he was recently promoted and just hit his 3 year mark. Director of culinary- 10 years. Kobi, the director of nursing, 7+ years. Just ask around. They know what they are doing and it reflects in their compassionate care.

Rebecca, the Activities person at Highland Glen Assisted living, is beyond WONDERFUL! She keeps the residents so very happy with the scenic drives she takes them on, the fun bingo she leads, the Walmart trips, the soda making activities, the sing alongs, restaurant outings, and so many others uplifting, enriching activities. Rebecca is a special kind of human and her love for the residents is so evident in the way she joyfully gathers them for activities and makes sure they are all taken care of. We put my 94-year-old Mom in Highland Glen in August, 2023. The experience has been more than wonderful!!! Everything about it, including: -Food (three square meals a day - my Mom raves about how delicious it is and I agree); -Activities (Rebecca, who runs the activities, makes a special effort to ensure my Mom, now 95, is invited to all the activities. And my Mom really, really enjoys them, and she cleans up at Bingo); -Field Trips (same thing, Rebecca gives special invitations to my Mom and others); -The healthcare (Kobi and Connie and all the medical staff are absolutely top-notch! They keep me up-to-date and alert me when anything is amiss); -Administrative staff (Paige have been so helpful! Any time I’ve needed the slightest thing, she’s been right on top of it). And Todd and all the rest of the staff (there are soooo many names to name but I just can’t remember all of them.) have been extremely helpful, conscientious, concerned, and thorough!). The litmus test has been my siblings and other elderly friends. Each time one of them visits my Mom they comment about how nice Highland Glen is, and then they say: I hope I get to live here when it’s my time. I agree.

I have worked with Highland Glen for the past 5 years, helping place loved ones within this community as it truly upholds standards for care and community. The activities are creative and meaningful, they have community projects which the residents have a direct impact on doing for the community. The thing I appreciate is cosmetically it’s beautiful it’s not modern it is elegant, the food is delicious and is prepared from scratch with soups and salads with lunch and dinner. The care is wonderful and the team here has had continuity which is hard to come by as in healthcare many people are ever changing. The team here clearly loves what they do and who they serve which is our loved ones.

For almost 4 years, our mother has enjoyed being a resident at Highland Glen. She now considers Highland Glen her home after making a cross country move from Michigan. She enjoys the safety, comfort, and autonomy Highland Glen provides. Mom takes advantage of church-related activities and special family activities throughout the year, which we also enjoy attending. It’s a comfort for the family to know she receives proper medical care from a patient and friendly staff whom she enjoys. From the beginning of our mother’s residency, the management, medical team, and staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure her comfort, health, happiness, and safety. This place is amazing! It is clean, bright and welcoming. The staff is friendly and always available. I know I can depend on the nursing staff to answer my questions, even on the weekends. The food and atmosphere is wonderful. They take the residents on rides up the canyon, to Thanksgiving Point, they even went to the local elementary school for their Hope of America program. They truly love and care for all of the people living there. You can tell the residents enjoy themselves and have made friends among the other residents. We are lucky to have this place for my family.

Excellent place for families to have their loved ones live. The staff is so caring, friendly and professional. The food looks good and tastes good. Actual fresh ingredients! They have a variety of activities and take the residents out multiple times a week on the bus. The rooms are larger than other buildings. Pricing is on par with other communities but this is high quality. It's an upscale, elegant building with services to match. You can't beat this place!

It is a hard decision to put a loved one in an assisted care facility but we made the choice a few years back to have our Dad move into Highland Glen shortly before he died. He was only there for a few weeks, but the staff there were incredibly kind and he even made a few friends during his short stay! We were so impressed that when the time came for our sweet mom to need the 24 hour care we couldn't provide, that it was an easy decision to move her into Highland Glen. The facility itself is clean, beautiful and very homey. Not too large like some other care facilities which we love. The staff really get to know each resident and when we visit, they are always so friendly. My moms room is so spacious and has a nice large bathroom with a bench seat in the shower. My mom continually comments on how good the food is and the activities they have on their calendar each day are so fun and engaging. From Bingo to bus rides, Walmart visits, temple visits, exercise classes, art classes, movies, nail painting and so much more. They do fun holiday activities for extended family members such as an Easter egg hunt, Halloween trick or treating, Thanksgiving brunch and Labor Day Luau. I toured several facilities to find a pleasant place for my dad who was diagnosed with Alzheimers. I chose Highland Glen because they have an Assisted Living and Memory Care. The residents that I have met are happy and friendly. The staff are caring and compassionate. This is a smaller community that feels like a family. My dad has lived here for 16 months and when I come to visit he is engaged in activities or chatting with other residents. I have been to family activities and a Town Hall organized by Highland Glen. They have a beautiful outdoor area with a water feature and a small putting green. I would highly recommend this Assisted Living to anyone.

The caregivers at Highland Glen have been exceptionally patience with my father. The director takes time to understand our family needs. The staff is remarkable and caring. They exhibit patience and professionalism.

Amazing service and staff. So friendly and I’m glad my dad loves it there too. The main administrator guy (John?) that’s in charge is super helpful and professional. He’s a good dude and his staff is really kind also. They care about the residents and know them all very well.

My in-laws have lived at the Highland Glen for 2 years. We looked at at many facilities before landing at the HG. It is clean, beautiful, and always smells nice. The hallways are lined with lovely artwork. The CNAs are kind and friendly. Todd and John have always been good to go the extra mile to make our parents feel noticed and heard. We have been so grateful to have our parents in a safe, clean, well kept, friendly environment. We know this was the right choice!

My Dad lived at Highland Glen for 2 years. During that time he enjoyed meeting new friends, playing bingo and going for scenic rides on the bus. The Staff at Highland Glen did a great job of helping my Dad to be as independent as possible while also being there to help with any needs he might have. My dad made special bonds with some of the staff who were so kind to him. They were always happy to meet any special needs that my dad or our family had. We are thankful for all the love that was shown while our dad lived there!

I love Highland Glen Assisted Living Center. My Father was a resident here for 8 months and was very well taken care of and felt as though he was with Family. The facility is nice and the staff is very attentive and caring. We took a group of young men over there to serve the residents and really appreciated how the staff made everyone feel like home.

MBK treats all guests and clients as family! They want you to feel welcomed and everyone always has a smile on their face! I am really impressed how they have treated my nana with care and respect. I look forward every time I go into MBK to visit my nana!

We spent over 3 years with my mother while she lived at Highland Glen. It became not only her home away from home, but ours too. We love the staff. It's small enough that they know each resident individually. And the staff didn't change all the time, so my mother, who has memory issues . . . actually knew many of the CNA's and employees by name. Paige, Jon and all the CNA's cared about not only the residents but also their families. I felt at home here, and so did my mom. She often said, "If I can't be in my home this is where I want to be." We had to move her about a year ago to a different retirement center to be closer to family members, and now more than ever I appreciate Highland Glen. They were so responsive and caring. Easy to work with. There is a feeling of "home." here. We all miss Highland Glen.

Had I known that my mother would have loved it so much, we would have moved her here a few years earlier! Our family struggled for a long time about whether or not to put her in assisted living, but it was the right choice. Like I said, I would have done it sooner actually had I known how great Highland Glen is. the staff is awesome and it's management cares. john takes time to talk with the residents and staff a lot. The nurses are great too and we just can't say enough good stuff. Thank you HG!

WOW. WOW. WOW. My father-in-law stayed here for 5 months before he passed away and it was just amazing. He felt so comfortable there, always excited about the activities. He said the nurses and staff were kind, caring, and always there to help him and they treated him like friends. It was clean, well-managed, and had a great atmosphere. The pricing was reasonable and the food was excellent. HIGHLY recommend!!!! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful home with lovely staff and sweet residents. I thought I knew what a good rest home looked like by visiting Stone Henge, but that place has nothing on the style and amenities of Highland Glen! I would house a loved one or even myself without hesitation.
