This is an incredible facility. I've been working in hospital discharge planning for a couple of years and I've quickly learned that St. Joe's is one of the most reputable and versatile skilled nursing facilities in the state. They are able to provide services that most other skilled nursing facilities do not, such as in-house dialysis. They are easy to work with, their staff is extremely professional and will go the extra mile to make sure their patients are well taken care of.

I’m 50/50 on this place for a few reasons. One, I know my family member sent here was a difficult patient. For the most part I heard decent things about the food (for awhile) and some of the therapists clearly helped her become discharged. However, she came out of the place looking completely malnourished and lost so much weight. I don’t feel they communicated with family enough about her refusals to eat / medication. The building is nice & clean, there’s lots of good things to say. But the direct staff should be more communicative with family and reassess the patients who are clearly declining due to fixable issues.

I have visited dozens of Nursing home and assisted living facilities in northern Utah area and St. Joseph Villa is easily one of best run facilities I have come across. The management is experienced and the staff is passionate about the patients care.

My mom has been a resident at SJV for almost 10 years. She started out in the independent living apartments, transitioned to assisted living when it was time, had a couple stays in rehab over the years to get her back on her feet and is now on a skilled nursing floor. The SJV staff throughout this time has been fantastic, both in their loving care for mom and their interactions with family. They have helped us navigate the finances, healthcare issues associated with caring for aging parents and most recently they did a fantastic job keeping her safe during COIVD. Most important of all - my mom has loved living here!

My mother has been a resident at St. Joseph Villa for over and has received exceptional care at every turn. She started in rehab, moved to skilled nursing, and is now in assisted living. In every setting, weve been impressed with the admins, nurses, med techs, and CNAs. These folks work hard to care for their residents (medically and emotionally). Even in the midst of a pandemic, these folks have stepped up to make the very best of difficult situations. 10-10 - especially for the Assisted Living team. To be fair - the building is older and there are some maintenance (not safety, just aesthetic) things that could be improved (in our experience this was with the skilled nursing floor, not ALF) but dont let this dissuade you. One staff member told me they put their resources into their staff, not into remodels, and for us that has made all the difference.

The entire staff are dedicated to their patients. Rehab therapy is positively caring and knowledgeable. I am so impressed and relieved my friend is getting rehab here.

I am a social worker and marketer with a local home heath and hospice company and I have and will continue to recommend this facility to all my patients. They are a five star building, and have been for several years. That is a comendible considering the size of building and the number of patients the take care of. Their staff are personable and I know will try to accommodate every patients and families request to the best of their ability.

We love this place!!! My mom was a patient in the rehab portion of St. Joseph Villa for a little over 2 months and loved it. The staff was attentive and caring and took such good care of her. They were able to provide her with the medical attention she was unable to get at any other rehab facility in the valley and we were so grateful. They treated her, and us, like family and went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable and had whatever she needed. We felt so welcome and loved and would recommend this facility to everyone!! Love them!!!!

I recently had family member stay here and while we were super nervous of what to expect we were thrilled with the overall experience. The staff was amazing to my grandma! She always said how safe she felt. Every time we went to visit they were always friendly and asked if there was anything else they could do to better her stay. Love these guys at st Josephs villa!!!!!!

My mom stayed here for a little over a week and I was very happy with the way they took care of her. The downsides were that they let her catheter bag overflow once and were a little loud one night but aside from that, there were no problems. Mom seemed pretty content here.
