My parents were in independent living for 4 or so years and recently moved to assisted living. The staff has been amazing - caring and competent. Our family feels so lucky and comforted that they are surrounded by Legacy staff.

The head director Dave is awesome! Very nice guy and will do anything for the residents. I highly recommend this place. Nicest retirement home in the STATE.

Beautiful facility with nice people but be aware that they are severely understaffed and not able to consistently keep up with level of care needs.

My father has been at Legacy SugarHouse for several years and I highly recommend this as a place where you can have peace of mind for your loved one. The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. And the staff cares so deeply about supporting the community. They work so hard to create an environment where everyone can thrive going above and beyond to meet individual needs. In short, my father has been happy at Legacy Sugarhouse. Weve been especially happy with the teams response to COVID which has been hard on everyone but they have kept these residents well protected.

Ive lived here since April. Moved here from another facility. i am the youngest one living here. Had a lot of medical issues. The entire staff is very caring & thorough. Xiong arrangements are great. Daily specials for every mealier a variety of other choices. the are is wonderful. a nice park across the street. lots of excellent dining places, shopping.

I have lived here for one year. The staff is always helpful and kind . There is always entertainment and things to do for the resident. And the food is healthy and good. The building is kept beautifully clean. I feel safe living here. Also if you have a pet you can have one here. The neighborhood around The Legacy has many stores to walk to. And our theater has many good movies to watch.

Moved my Grandma here about a week ago from a facility where everyone was on medicaid except for my grandma . The quality of care was terrible and none of the workers seemed to care, took them a half hour to respond to my Grandmas call and medicine was always late , there were bed bugs and they were charging for extra drinks and food . It brings me such peace that my Grandma will get the care she needs here at Legacy . Med techs are on time and the response to residents is prompt . Some say its expensive but what do you expect for all around care ? You get what you pay for and what you get is QUALITY care from a staff that is AMAZING at what they do ! The types of experiences they offer the residents really helps them to thrive as well , from the delicious food options to the movie and holiday events . Thank you Legacy and everyone for what you do !

Its super expensive, but nice facility(apartments themselves are pretty average). The staff is pretty nice and I feel like my mom is well taken care of, except when they are understaffed, and they are understaffed A LOT! She has had to wait hours to have food brought to her (when too sick to go to dining room). And the food is total garbage. Right out of a package and sometimes so salty it burns her mouth.

I was visiting friends who live in Legacy Village of Sugar House. My husband had recently passed away and this visit was to show me some options I have after selling our home. I toured the facility, ate meals in the dining area, attended activities such as the exercise classes, the theater, local entertainment and even a field trip to the Seder meal at the University of Utah. I was amazed at all the restaurants, stores and even a couple of beautiful parks surrounding the area. Thanks to the diligence of Landon, I found an apartment that I particularly liked with a magnificent view of the Salt Lake area. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. I appreciate t the hard-working Christy who was so cheerful in organizing the entertainment. The food was delicious. In summary, I would highly recommend this place to anyone I know who may be planning to move to the Salt Lake area. Oh yes, I neglected to mention that I REALLY enjoyed meeting the residents who came from such varied and interesting backgrounds.

My husband and I have lived in Legacy Village Sugar House for nearly a year and absolutely love it. The staff are extraordinarily helpful, and the facilities (dining rooms, theater, fitness centers) are top-notch. Sugar House is a wonderful walkable neighborhood, with Whole Foods just a block away! The activities are always enjoyable, with some favorites being yoga, exercise classes, a weekly wine and cheese social, and jewelry making classes. And the fact that pets are allowed is a real bonus!

The staff there are second to none! They gave the right people who care about the elderly. They seem very genuine about what they are doing.

I went into this location a few weeks ago and was extremely impressed with how nice everything is. More importantly, the feeling is warm and caring and the staff is great. I would for sure recommend them and will be suggesting my Grandfather takes a tour here when the time comes that he needs assisted living.
