Ranking The Best Senior Living Facilities in Tennessee
So how did we figure out what were the best Tennessee senior living communities? We combined reviews from several websites, including Google, Facebook and other sources for senior living in Tennessee. Reviews themselves aren’t enough, so we made sure there no outstanding compliance violations or complaints with the TN Dept. of Health.
The last thing we did was make sure the living facilities listed were affordable for most people. What good is a senior living community if you can’t afford to live there? The average cost for assisted living in Tennessee is $3,920.00. In most communities this includes housing, many meals, and basic amenities and services. Independent living is typically cheaper but doesn’t offer care, while memory care and skilled nursing can be thousands more a month.

This is a wonderful place. It really has atmosphere! I am amazed at the number of residents who participate daily in exercise and fun activities. There is a cosmetologist available weekly, a team of nurses and resident assistants on staff. Meals are served hot and fresh! There is industrial equipment available for laundry, cooking You name it! It is such an excellent retirement facility.

My husbands family moved their Mom into the assisted living area a couple of weeks ago. The entire staff has been very helpful and attentive throughout the process. The facility is very clean and well laid out for meetings and activities. Meeting with her in the first floor common areas has been very helpful. We look forward to being able to visit in her room and join her and her new friends in the dining room once the Covid protocols will allow it. She is enjoying the activities and opportunity to eat in the dining room with other residents.

I am an 80-year-old retired mechanical engineer, my wife (75) and I are the current residents of the Jubilee House. Our experience here is absolutely amazing. The facility is very nice. We enjoy its entertainment room, wellness clinic, guest speakers, painting sessions as well as many other activities. Due to my handicap, they provide me all the help I need around the clock, including medical help from a resident nurse, and assistance with my day-to-day activities, which includes transferring from a bed or a chair, grooming, etc., plus transportation on a handicap-accessible van. The kitchen staff is very caring and helpful, and the food is very nutritious and delicious, prepared by a group of experienced chefs.
