From the very first day that I talked to Ashley, I thought this would be a good place for my Mom. Went on the tour with Ashley O and she made me very comfortable, told me about all the wonderful things that they have and offer there at Legacy Assisted Living. The staff is very nice. It is very clean, open concept, and even if you have to share a room it very private compared to most other places. The roommates aren’t on top of each other in this tiny space. Bathrooms are very roomy. Food is cooked everyday and is hot. Mom likes all the staff and they are very helpful, no matter who it is. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my Mom.

My mother and brother have lived on the assisted living side of the facility for the past six months. The building is fresh and lovely, with many serene spaces for visiting, TV, or to enjoy the social events. Nature is very important to well-being, and favorite spaces are the pond and patio, with woods and lots of wildlife, as well as the inner courtyard for events. The two-bedroom apartment is spacious, with a homey, bright and open feel, and perfectly arranged for senior convenience and safety. The food is excellent (shout-out to Chef Charles) and plentiful, which warrants a daily visit to the very nice gym!

Aspire Senior Living is pretty good. The staff is very nice. The place is very clean. The food is excellent. My mother likes it a lot. She is very happy there. They have too many activities to list. You couldn’t get bored and if you’re bored, it’s your own choice. They have bingo, movies, art, plays, cards, mass, and bible studies. It varies every week. They have special things for special holidays. The staff members are very caring. They try very hard to accommodate you and really get to know the people there. They’re a little overwhelmed right now with their cleaning staff, but on the whole it is very good.

Our family is so grateful for Avalon Square. My Mom has lived independently at Avalon for nearly five years. Every experience from the front door (thank you Sue) to the executive director (always available) including many staff members have made Avalon a terrific experience for my Mom, and our family. During Covid they took great precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy with success. Because I live in a different state, I was not able to see my Mom for over a year. Avalon staff did a quick and vital pivot in order to connect families via Zoom. With the help of the great hard working lovely people at Avalon Square, we were able to see each other and visit online every week. I thought this was a very generous and compassionate life saver. I cannot stress how important this was for my Mom and for me. When I visit, I take long walks along the river and stroll the many shops of downtown Main Street. The location is terrific. The staff are wonderful. The building and apartment is sunny and lovely. I recommend Avalon Square without hesitation.

I cannot say enough good things about Tallgrass. Everything they have done for my father, how they have cared for him has been excellent. The staff is not pushy at all, they’re very patient, and they follow directions well. The food is wonderful. We can’t say enough good things about the food. We are extremely pleased. I love how the activity center is right in the front of the community, so it seems very lively with everyone always doing something. The apartments are also amazing. The storage they have is just incredible, and I love how the community itself has a homey, quiet feel to it. It really is like a hidden gem. I’d absolutely recommend it.
