1st time therer. I thought that everyone was very friendly, courteous, polite, to the myself and to the patient's. EVERY NURSE/CNA'S Deserve 100 I'm positive that the rest of the staff are Just as magnificent ONLY Downfall was the cooling, Possibly the heating system needs a MAJOR UP GRADE

I just stayed for a week at Edenbrook of Green Bay for rehabilitation. This was after a bout with Hypoxia. They welcomed me after I had been in the hospital for four days. I was in need of PT, OT and time and care- which was awesomely provided to me by the staff at Edenbrook. I came into the facility (as I call it) in a puddle. My focus was off, my body was shakey and I just plain wasn’t ready for returning to my home. I was helped so much by Ellie, Katie, Jennifer, Dee, Bianca and all the other RN’s! I appreciated the support and tireless work ethic of all of the CNA’s! The business personnel were caring and understanding. (The Kathleen’s!!) (inside joke) The meals were outstanding! Thanks much to cook Jamie and her staff. I even felt cared for by the cleaning staff- shout out to Toni and Junior! And now- I saved the truly best for last- the PT and OT staff that saw me through: Heidi, Emily, Tracy and Karissa were not only professional and knowledgeable, they made me feel accepted, even with my body insecurities. They taught me a lot! Many things I will use for the rest of my life! And one of the best things is that I was made to feel at ease about reaching out to them for extra care whenever I needed it! No one asked me to write this review. I wanted to let the public know that if you or your loved one need an interim place to go after an accident or surgery OR if you or your spouse or your parents need permanent healthcare placement- think of Edenbrook of Green Bay. It may sound cheesy to you, but I’m very happy that the Healthcare Advocate at the hospital I was staying in suggested Edenbrook.

My husband spent nearly 3 months at this location. The CNAs deserve all the praise for the exhaustive work they do to care for patients despite being entirely understaffed. The first floor had 36 patients. Edenbrook frequently had 2 CNAs to care for them. CNAs do the bulk of the work at Edenbrook and they do it with a smile on their face, kindness in their voice, compassion in their hearts and gentleness with their hands. They do all of this, in the summer, in sweltering rooms void of AC vents. Patient rooms on first floor do not have AC. Patients are given a floor fan. Due to staffing shortages the wait, frequently, was long (45 min - 1.5 hours) once pushing the call light. Several of the RNs were caring, attentive and personable but I did not witness them lend a hand to help understaffed CNAs. Breakfast and lunch meals were acceptable most of the time. The evening meal was usually a sandwich. There was a nice selection of packaged snacks in the evening. Bathrooms are shared and kept clean. There is a single shower down the hall that is shared by patients in that hall. This location is entirely administration top heavy. A lot of promises from admissions director and director of nursing but no follow through. The admissions office promised that my husband would have what he needed to succeed. That unkept promise resulted in a 15 day delay in obtaining a bed rail and bed trapeze bar needed for him to reposition himself because those items are against state regulations for skilled nursing facilities. He sat in his walker for the same amount of time because the chair provided did not meet my his post-stroke care needs despite being promised prior to arrival that his room was equipped and ready for his care needs. We ultimately brought his recliner with pedestal from home. The final straw was transferring my husband via ambulance to the ER without notifying me. Eight hours later I find out he was at Aurora via a tracker on his phone followed by a phone call to Aurora confirming he was inpatient. Not notifying a patient's wife of a medical emergency is unacceptable. If considering Edenbrook for precious family members, my suggestion is to frequently check in on them in-person, advocate for them, and hold the administration accountable for promises made, for withheld information, and for patient comfort. We did not have any concern, at all, with the care provided by the CNA's who were hands-on. In fact, the entire Edenbrook Green Bay CNA group should be applauded and rewarded for making patients comfortable, ensure they are clean, repositioned, and tended to. They are the champions of that entire facility.

I was there for about a month for rehab on a broken bone in my shoulder. The nursing staff and therapists are great. They are friendly and treat every patient very well. I never felt uncomfortable during my stay. Overall I would definitely recommend this facility for family and loved ones. Every patient is treated with respect and care. Hi Cami

We went to Eden brook from the Hospital with my Mother in Law and were hopeful for longer term care, Heather was the first we spoke to and she helped us all the way through the process she is wonderful thank you Eden brook!

My husband moved into Eden Vista on September 19, 2023, after being treated in a local hospital for five days. He was placed at Eden Vista in their memory care as he needed more help than I could provide. We were instantly welcomed warmly and introduced to the staff who would care for him. His caretakers helped him become comfortable within his room and with the other residents who lived within this facility. He was never without clean clothes, bedding and bathroom essentials. They recognized that my husband was not a social person or a fan of participation in games-- but he was able to join them for eating within the dining room. When he needed to be by himself, they brought his tray to his room. He enjoyed the caretakers especially when they told jokes or teased each other. I thank each and every person in this assisted living for all they did for my husband while he was a resident.

Went to visit my 91 year old father today, he couldn't say enough good things about the care he was getting. This was a great relief to me ! A big thanks to all his caregivers

They are the worst place I have ever seen!they let their patient go 38 w/o any food or substitute! After 36 days the patient made me his POA, 2 days later they administered a feeding tube which I suggested many weeks before! They found a way to make me unable to go to their facility and now he is about to die! practically bed ridden and hasn't barely gained any weight! He is starving w the feeding tube and me not able to see what they are doing! I go anyway and now my sister is going and we are trying to get this Navy vet some emergency help!!

Edenbrook Green Bay is newly remodeled and it looks fantastic! The building and grounds are clean and very well kept inside and out! This facility is also well decorated and bright! Edenbrook Green Bay provides wonderful care to their residents, especially long term care. They cared for my grandmother for many years, and my family never regretted our choice of choosing this home. First off I'd like to address the low ratings given to Edenbrook by anyone thats actually stepped foot in this spacious, well kept facility. I'm sure something didn't go right or your lofty expectations of what the difference between actual care and compassion might be. My mother (may she R.I.P.) got both her knees replaced and stayed for rehab. Was it all fun and games with lattes and roses, heck no... but it was focused and honest. Matter of fact, the staff at this facility should be applauded for their dedication and pride of profession to come to a place every day to get hurting and often times elderly folks to regain as much of their mobility (and quite frankly Dignity) back so they can return to their lives. Not to mention the tight budgets, all the Covid-19 protocols and wage challenges in a time where staffing and experience are priceless to any service industry. Edenbrook Staff, hold your heads up high, you make a difference in our community through your care. Real compassion is not in fake smiles and mandatory gestures, its in the resilience of seeing a weak patient and coaching them to push beyond their pain to succeed their goals. The V.A. hospital aint going to send me to the 6+ month government waiting list or on any goose chase...I'm coming here when my stubborn butt needs rehab, plain and simple.

I would like to say that Eden Brook out of all the nursing homes that I’ve been in is the best! I especially like Lisa Wendy Apple, JJ, and the staff of PT, OT and speech therapy. There are so many others that I would like to name,but too many To say. I have nothing bad to say about any of them. Outstanding food from the dietary staff. Very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone who has the need for it.
