My mom is a resident of Mission Creek's memory care facility. I am appreciative and comforted by the commitment of the staff, from the front line caregivers who are engaged, knowledgeable and compassionate, to the leadership team who keep me informed and listen and respond to my concerns. They seem to be a truly collaborative group, bringing other departments into any problem-solving discussions, including the food service team, housekeeping and maintenance (all of whom do great work). Everyone who works at Mission Creek serves an invaluable service and I am grateful that my mom has them caring for her.

Our dad is at Mission Creek. It is a beautiful facility and when we asked our dad how he was liking it there he gave a big compliment to the staff. He said "The staff are all very gentle with the residents and let you set the pace. They never rush you"

Overall Mission Creek is becoming a good place to work where you’ll fall in love with the residents and staff members. A very clean environment. Only thing that could be a little better is the food.

I don't typically write reviews, but this review I can whole heartedly say deserves it. I started working at this facility years ago, during this time I started in the dietary department as a server, then was soon promoted to an activities assistant, went to the activities director, and soon became the memory care director which is the role I am in currently. I started working here very young, and at that point I traveled to many different communities, and my self have worked for some part time to get through high school, and college while working in this facility. I can say that I have always made this facility a priority to me, and that is because it feels like home, and the residents feel like family. I will be transparent and say that this community in itself has been through a lot, however in the past few months of being the memory care director and having an incredible executive director I have seen this facility flourish. I will also say that this community has more love filled within it, then it has in the past almost seven years I have worked here. I am incredibly honored to be able to be apart of this amazing transition we are making to be able to take care of the residents as well as the families. I myself have been able to get to know the residents very well, as well as the families. I have had family members attend my birthday parties, graduation parties, my high school prom and so much more. This community is a home, and we have grown to nourish the home, and rebuild it to its true potential.

This place promised the moon and provided nothing. The nurse refused to return phone calls. The aides were rude to my mom. It took hours for her call light to get answered. My mother did not get help bathing or oral care at all in the 2 and a half weeks she was there. Rather than discussing the situation with family, the facility contacted another facility about openings. The director of admissions admitted the staff had bad attitudes. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Mission Creek is a horrible facility, you could not pay me to put my loved one there. Management is HOORIBLE! This facility claims to be a safe, clean, and caring environment. Mission Creek is none of the above.
October 2021
Looking for a place for my mother everyone was very nice and helpful. We thought we made an informed decision. Once we moved her in, things went downhill. The skill level of the staff to care for her medical needs were highly exaggerated. There was a lack of training. Short staff a lot and cares suffered. The two LPNs were never available and ultimately would send CNAs to follow up instead of them talking to mom or family. It appeared that they did not want to be bothered. They also did not keep family up to date on health issues. The few positives the facility had did not out way the negatives we endured. We ultimately were concerned about her health and safety so we found another facility which was far better than here. Mission Creek might be ok for an independent or minimal need person but if they need assistance I would not consider them.

They have more nice events for their residents, like the brunch today and the Thanksgiving lunch a fee weeks ago. This is a nice assisted living place

We placed my neighbor at MC. She was a handful related to her diagnosis. I found the staff caring, helpful and most always responsive. All communities have staffing issues these days, but they do their best at MC to hire and train to stay on top of the issue. My neighbor had care, according to her care plan, unless she declined. I would recommend.

I would definitely recommend Mission Creek. The nursing staff is outstanding. The care they provide is phenomenal. They work as a team. And I was taught there is NO I in the word TEAM. This facility does just that. The care and compassion taking care of the individual patients and the family members cannot be taught it is with in those individuals that work in that facility . I thank each and every one who helped with the care of my sister while she was there. To the aids, nurses, volunteer singers, and anyone else I might have left out. I give this facility an +A on cleanliness , hospitality , friendliness , compassion and most of all the dignity you give those in the last days .

I've been an employee for Seniorlifestyle (parent company,) for 7 years and 2 of those years have been with Mission Creek.I am blessed beyond measure to work with such caring individuals. Everyday I see examples of selflessness and caring, striving to always be better and learning from our mistakes. From the moment you enter our community you are greeted with warm friendly smiles from our concierge. Each disipline, whether its our sometimes, break missing caregivers, to our hustling servers trying to provide a dining experience that you would want to come back too, to the housekeepers who ensure your "home" is comfortable and clean. Everyone takes pride in making sure you feel at home and welcomed. For all these year's I've seen this with an employee eye however now Ive seen it from a families eye. My Mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer in March 2017. Without hesitation my work family and adopted family of residents rallied around me and provided me an enormous amount of support and love. Rearranged schedule, time off and inevitably when I could no longer care for my Mother in my home we moved her to Mission Creek. My family and I could not be more grateful for everything that they have done for us. But the kicker is, and why I have been compelled to write this post, is because we didnt recieve special treatment because Im employee. We were given the same love and tenderness every other resident and family is deserving of. No one is ever perfect, and sometime mistakes are made. But know that we learn from those....because we care.?Thank you to everyone at Mission Creek for your love, patience, and kindness.
