I love oak hill terrace from the residents, to the employees. They have 6 activities daily and they are repetitive. Something different daily. The residents are always clean, building is always clean.

Secure building, common areas look bright and updated, the staff was available, very friendly/knowledgeable/helpful and able to give my family a tour. Apartments are okay. The calendar is full of activities and options available in the dining room.

My mom lived here for the last 13 months of her life. She had a wonderful, cheerful room which was very clean and modern. She was taken such good care of and there was always an aide or a nurse to help her when she needed it. Bless these people who were so absolutely great to my mom always. I will never forget how she was treated with kindness and dignity always. Thank you so very much.

My son needed to find a place quickly after I completed rehab for surgery. We were lucky to find Oak Hill after calling 6 other assisted living establishments. The apartment opened up 2hrs after I viewed the model apartment. Trish and Bob have been great while we waited for our apartment to be updated. They provided a furnished temp. Apartment which helped me aclimate to the new community while we moved in.The people are friendly, lots of activities, good food on white linen table cloths.My sister Linda works here too.PS. 4 miles off the interstate (I94 ) and lots of shopping options close by on Sunset Dr.Katies Kloset is only 4 miles away

The staff are responsive and eager to make my parents stay there the best it can be in regards to their health conditions.They help find answers to questions, provide information to help me make decisions and find good solutions to problems or changes that are needed. I am a hands on person reguarding my parents care and I am always greeted with understanding and respect.

WE placed my aunt into Oak Hill Terrace in October, 2012. At first she didnt like it, being former military and VERY set in her ways. Within 3 months she was very happy and in much better health due to being properly fed, cared for, and receiving needed medications on time daily.We had looked at well over a dozen facilities within metropolitan Milwaukee and based on comfort with the facility and staff as well as value we chose OHT. Its now been 7 years. Our aunt has developed severe dementia; she had some of it when we placed her herein. She absolutely loves the food (shes gained nearly 30lbs since 2012), she participates in many activities, and we like the ease of communication and awareness the entire staff has exhibited throughout these past 7 years. She has required being ambulanced to a nearby hospital on 4 occasions during these 7 years and EVERY TIME the staff has called us immediately and has kept us fully appraised of her situation. When we moved her into OHT we lived nearby. Two years later we relocated to MUCH warmer climes and still feel like were right next door. We have visited her for a week at least 3 times annually for her regular medical appointments outside the facility and every time the staff makes us feel right at home and the facility is always very clean. A couple years ago she required cataract surgery and we had to have the staff handle the drops, gels, and other treatments. They were superb. We STRONGLY recommend Oak Hill Terrace for your elderly loved ones. Just be aware the food is so good they will gain weight and need new clothes soon thereafter!

Placing a family member into an Assisted Living Facility is very daunting. This is my second experience having to find the appropriate home for a family member, but this time I was doing it 1,000 miles away. The staff at Oak Hill Terrace took the time to speak with me on the phone and thoroughly answer my questions, calming the situation. After much research and facility visits, we chose Oak Hill Terrace. Mom has totally enjoyed the activities, her new friends and has said the staff is very kind and respectful making her very comfortable in her new home. As I work through additional decisions and paperwork the staff has been extremely patient and helpful.

After my dad passed away, we had to find a quick, but trusted solution to get my mom out of the house and into senior living. Oak Hill Terrace offered just that, and at an affordable price. My sister and I live out of town, and the community has been extra helpful in accommodating our family in this area. Special thanks to Trish in marketing and Carol in activities. They have gone above and beyond to help my mom make the transition and truly establish Oak Hill Terrace as her new home. The community has also offered my sister and I the peace of mind that my moms needs will be met as she ages in place.
