Ranking The Best Senior Living Facilities in Idaho
The good news is Idaho has several top-notch elderly housing facilities to choose from. Narrowing down the list to our top 15 was certainly not easy. We looked up all the reviews on Facebook and Google and then compared them with reviews left on our own site. The Idaho Department of Health website was also helpful as we wanted to ensure that our final list of 15 did not have any outstanding violations or warrants.
There are senior living communities in Idaho that cost as little as $1,300 per month. On average, most of the facilities on this list cost in the range of $2,700. The level of care required by the senior resident will affect the final sticker price. Memory care and skilled nursing care can push the price to over $3,000, while independent living is typically the cheapest.

I was in Creekside for many weeks following a horrible illness. From the first moment I arrived until the day I left, I was treated so well by everyone. I healed up and looked forward to each day because I knew very professional, caring, doctors, RN nurses, LPN nurses, CNA Aides, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Dietary, House Keeping, Transportation, Social Services and Office Staff were there to make sure myself and other patients were well tended to. I heard how kindly the patients were spoken to by the the entire staff. They spoke to me the same way. Thank you Dr. Walker, Dr. Ward, Jaime. Juan, Selma, Jay, Lisa, Brin, Josh, Shawna, Rosalinda, Keith, Eileen, Cathy, Brent, Wendy, Maddie, Michael, Gretchen, Riley and Cam. I hope I remembered everyone’s names. If I did not, please know you are as special as everyone I mentioned. I would recommend this place to any friend or loved one.

My mom feels safe and cared for at the Chateau. The staff, lead by Jill D, manager, are kind, respectful and show good humor. There does not seem to be a lot of turn over in staff. They stay. They know residents by name and help however they can, going beyond their job at the moment to provide service to residents and care givers. They practice healthy safety precautions and so far there has not been a confirmed case of COVID. They keep residents informed. There are many activities offered inside and bus trips as applicable. Love them!

We placed Mom in Memory Care at Meridian Meadows in Nov. 2020. It was a difficult decision during the pandemic, but we have been so very pleased in every way. The Director of The Gables, Derek, was extremely helpful and supportive of my Mom while she lived there. When I would visit she would say how nice he was to her and how she enjoyed his dog. The food was excellent as I was even able to enjoy a lunch with my Mom when she first arrived and we had seconds! Kathryn RN is first class as my first career was in the medical field and she knew what to say and more importantly what to do to make my Mom comfortable. All the nurses aides were friendly and encouraged my Mom to participate and would take the time to talk with her and learn more about her wonderful full life. Thank you everyone at The Gables for an extraordinary experience and helping my Mom.
