Our Mother has lived at Fairwinds for several years. We have had a very positive experience working with the management and staff. They have been supportive, compassionate, and professional as our family tries to navigate our Mother's aging process. Their service, advice, and kindness has proven extremely valuable. Mother has enjoyed her time at Fairwinds with it's many activities, beautiful surroundings, and warm staff. When the time comes, my husband and I have said, Fairwinds will be the place for us!

I was there for business, but when it comes time to retire and give up living on my own, this would be a nice place to go. The staff are very kind and friendly, the facilities have lots of recreational options. Large open common areas to mingle and play with friends. The food area is more like a nice restaurant than a cafeteria. The place is CLEAN and visually appealing.

We needed to find a place where our Mom would be cared for after a hospital stay where it became clear she can't live by herself anymore. We moved her into an assisted living apartment the beginning of September this year and with her own furniture, personal items and pictures on the walls. She's helped with all her needs. And they have amazing and delicious food. She has enjoyed the activities such as musical performances, movie night and a ride to see the fall colors. We have enjoyed many wonderful meals shared together in their dining room, which is more like a restaurant. We had thanksgiving dinner catered to our family at Fairwinds and it was so good! One of the best thanksgiving dinners and we didn't have to cook or clean. It made it possible for all of us to be there with our mother.

My parents have been residents here for a year. The care they have received has been top notch. The staff is amazing-friendly, compassionate and they go the extra mile. The dining staff knows the residents by name and they have taken the time to get to know what my parents like to eat and drink. Communication between residents, staff and family is outstanding! When I grow up, I want to live at Fairwinds!

This review is more about an amazing employee. I am hoping her boss see's this because she deserves to be told how great she is. However I can't remember her name. On April 13th my daughters dance school performed here for the residents. Around 6PM. This employee was working the front desk. Super cute young girl. Dark hair. Beautiful smile. We arrived way early by accident. We were greeted with a big smile when we came in. Even offered water and drinks. She talked to us and was so nice. I watched her interact with the residents. I could just tell that she cared so much about all of them. So I went up to her to compliment her on her professionalism and kindness. I told her what a great job she was doing and she said to me. "My job isn't hard", Which I thought was so cute because she is not wrong, however her positivity and work ethic are hard to come by. So hopefully you can just see who was working that day and let her know how appreciated she is. Its refreshing to see people like her. Employees like that are what this world needs. It made my whole day to meet her. So good job on that hire!

Incredible facility with a well trained staff. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My mom talks daily about how friendly and well taken care of she is. Mom also says the food is delicious and the servers are so great. The facility always smells good, is clean and very well maintained. The apartments look brand new as does the entire facility. I highly recommend Fairwinds for assisted living and retirement living too.

Visited a friend last week. Now Fairwinds is closed to visitors for 30 days, due to Covid-19 surge. Seems like a very nice place.

The place was clean and the staff friendly. The residents seem to be happy and active. The outside provides beautiful foliage and well kept walkways for people to enjoy a stroll. In side was decorated very nice and was clean and orderly. You can smell wonderful aromas coming from the cafeteria and warm baked cookies with drinks by the entrance.

I highly recommend Fairwinds Sand Creek. They were wonderful as my mother moved into independent living and later transitioned to assisted living and hospice care. It was a very stressful and emotional situation to be in during Covid, but the management, staff and nurses were very professional and caring and were as accommodating as possible under the circumstances. Without their guidance and assistance, the situation would have been much more difficult. My personal thanks to Jon Potter.

My parents have been living here for over a year now. They are really enjoying it, and when we visit, I can tell the staff truly cares about its residents. My wife and I describe the place as being a cruise on land because the food is excellent and plentiful. Also, I think they are doing a great job protecting the residents from the pandemic.

Fairwinds has done a great job in keeping our older friends and relations safe through Covid. Pre-Covid, the activities, dining, and entertainment (and of course, other services) all make for a great place for our elders to live, when they need some assistance to keep their independence. We can’t say enough good things about Fairwinds-Sandcreek. My father-in-law lived there for two years, and it was a great experience for him and for our family. The staff is great and they were so good to him! We would recommend Fairwinds to anyone who is looking for a senior-living community!

My father-in-law moved to Fairwinds a year ago from Colorado. His transition to Idaho went so well greatly in-part to the great staff and activities at Fairwinds. The staff made him feel welcomed and offered so many activities that he got connected to others and made friends quickly. Fairwinds offers many services and fun things for him, and he’s enjoyed his new community. We would recommend anyone looking for a retirement community or assisted living to consider Fairwinds!

Fairwinds is 100% better than my previous retirement home in CA. Everything is so such better here. Rosie Williams- 2+ years The Fairwinds staff takes excellent care of any resident needing help. We as a community are so fortunate to have this facility. We as a family have had friends and relatives staying there, we do not worry about their care because of the Fantastic staff and the caring attitude they continuously present.
