This review is more about an amazing employee. I am hoping her boss see's this because she deserves to be told how great she is. However I can't remember her name. On April 13th my daughters dance school performed here for the residents. Around 6PM. This employee was working the front desk. Super cute young girl. Dark hair. Beautiful smile. We arrived way early by accident. We were greeted with a big smile when we came in. Even offered water and drinks. She talked to us and was so nice. I watched her interact with the residents. I could just tell that she cared so much about all of them. So I went up to her to compliment her on her professionalism and kindness. I told her what a great job she was doing and she said to me. "My job isn't hard", Which I thought was so cute because she is not wrong, however her positivity and work ethic are hard to come by. So hopefully you can just see who was working that day and let her know how appreciated she is. Its refreshing to see people like her. Employees like that are what this world needs. It made my whole day to meet her. So good job on that hire!

My parents have been residents here for a year. The care they have received has been top notch. The staff is amazing-friendly, compassionate and they go the extra mile. The dining staff knows the residents by name and they have taken the time to get to know what my parents like to eat and drink. Communication between residents, staff and family is outstanding! When I grow up, I want to live at Fairwinds!

Incredible facility with a well trained staff. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My mom talks daily about how friendly and well taken care of she is. Mom also says the food is delicious and the servers are so great. The facility always smells good, is clean and very well maintained. The apartments look brand new as does the entire facility. I highly recommend Fairwinds for assisted living and retirement living too.

The place was clean and the staff friendly. The residents seem to be happy and active. The outside provides beautiful foliage and well kept walkways for people to enjoy a stroll. In side was decorated very nice and was clean and orderly. You can smell wonderful aromas coming from the cafeteria and warm baked cookies with drinks by the entrance.

I highly recommend Fairwinds Sand Creek. They were wonderful as my mother moved into independent living and later transitioned to assisted living and hospice care. It was a very stressful and emotional situation to be in during Covid, but the management, staff and nurses were very professional and caring and were as accommodating as possible under the circumstances. Without their guidance and assistance, the situation would have been much more difficult. My personal thanks to Jon Potter.

My parents have been living here for over a year now. They are really enjoying it, and when we visit, I can tell the staff truly cares about its residents. My wife and I describe the place as being a cruise on land because the food is excellent and plentiful. Also, I think they are doing a great job protecting the residents from the pandemic.

Fairwinds has done a great job in keeping our older friends and relations safe through Covid. Pre-Covid, the activities, dining, and entertainment (and of course, other services) all make for a great place for our elders to live, when they need some assistance to keep their independence. We can’t say enough good things about Fairwinds-Sandcreek. My father-in-law lived there for two years, and it was a great experience for him and for our family. The staff is great and they were so good to him! We would recommend Fairwinds to anyone who is looking for a senior-living community!

My father-in-law moved to Fairwinds a year ago from Colorado. His transition to Idaho went so well greatly in-part to the great staff and activities at Fairwinds. The staff made him feel welcomed and offered so many activities that he got connected to others and made friends quickly. Fairwinds offers many services and fun things for him, and hes enjoyed his new community. We would recommend anyone looking for a retirement community or assisted living to consider Fairwinds!

Fairwinds is 100% better than my previous retirement home in CA. Everything is so such better here. Rosie Williams- 2+ years The Fairwinds staff takes excellent care of any resident needing help. My dad, Roy S. has lived at Fairwinds since 2014. He considers it home. He thinks the staff is so caring and kind. The food has been excellent in the last couple of months and just keeps improving. Right now Fairwinds is decorated so beautifully for Christmas with a huge variety of activities and performances. Its a great place to live!

I have been working inside Fairwinds for a year and a half as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and my great grandma and my grandma have both lived here in the past and very much enjoyed their experience. I know the staff here takes great pride in providing the best care for the residents as possible. I would recommend the facility to any friend or family looking for a retirement community or assisted living.

I have worked here for over 6 years. Compared with other retirement communities I have worked at, this one is by far the best. The staff always strives to work together and create a friendy attitude. Also the residents are very welcoming and treat you like family very quickly. It is a good environment to live in.

I have worked at Fairwinds for almost three years. I am one of the lucky people who go to work because I want to. I want to work with these amazing people! Everyone from the nurse aides, kitchen staff, housekeepers, front desk, administration, move in specialists and maintenance staff are always looking out for the residents. If anyone notices something a little different about a resident they alert the nursing staff who then go evaluate them for any changes in their condition. Everyone is willing to help our residents. We have the most phenomenal people living in our community. Our activities director always has fun activities planned for our people both inside and out of our community. The company also takes good care of their employees by offering good wages and great benefits. We work here because we wouldn't work anywhere else!

I have absolutely loved Fairwinds. I am a nursing student, but I have worked there in the summers. I absolutely love my team! The staff are very hard workers, and truly have a heart for the residents. Everyone is willing to give a lending hand or a smile when needed. The residents themselves are precious beyond compare. Each resident has an amazing, unique story and a heart of gold. Working there with the residents literally changed my life. It was this experience that confirmed my passion and desire to become a RN. If you are looking for a facility, definitely check Fairwinds out. Its amazing!
