I'm SO happy with Gables of Ammon! Mom has been a resident in assisted living for the last 8 months, and needs a very high level of care, and I feel the staff in every department here have been very attentive to her needs. I have to admit I'm a hover son, and spend several hours a day with mom keeping her company, and making sure she's well cared for. In my mind, no one could ever care for her as well as me. Over time, I've gotten to know most everyone who works here, and have learned to relax and to trust the staff - she's truly been better off under their care than with me. ‚ The administration has been very good about communicating openly with me about my concerns and taking care of them. The caregivers have been so kind and attentive to mom, and so careful with a very fragile little lady. I can't say enough about them! The kitchen staff is amazing - they have truly gone the extra mile to try to find food she will eat, and have been willing to stop what they were doing to cook her up a little something in the middle of the afternoon. The housekeepers and maintenance people have also been very thorough in their cleaning, and very responsive to any maintenance issues. Bottom line - while recognizing that no one is perfect, and that concerns will come up from time to time, I've been VERY impressed with the Gable's' level of care, and ability to make things right, and I recommend them just as highly as I can. They've been just what mom has needed. I hope they reserve a room for me someday. ‚

We provide some non denominational spiritual services for some of the residents and we have been really impressed at the facility itself and that the residents we interact with are very content and feel generally well cared for. As with any organization there can be issues, but even with the challenges of staffing, they do a great job to overcome those staffing shortages as well as anyone I've seen. I would definitely have no issue putting my own mother in this facilty and know they would care for her.

We thought this place was wonderful. They helped us so much when we were in a desperate situation and their assistance truly saved our bacon. They were so willing to cooperate with our family and do whatever they could to help. Our loved one received great care here and also liked the food.. I would definitely recommend Gables of Ammon to anyone in need of a good, safe place for a loved one.

My mom was at The Gables if Ammon for almost a year before she passed. While there she received excellent care. This facility is clean and inviting and the staff is friendly and attentive. They get their residents involved in lots of community activities as well as quality activities on site. If you are looking for a safe, clean, friendly, and up to date place for one or both of your parents this is the place.

The Gables of Ammon cared for my father for 6 months until the time of his death. They were so good to him. He made quick friends with the staff and had everything he needed. The facility is newly updated and very clean. It was so much more like home to my dad than another facility he lived in previously. Thank you Gables of Ammon! I would recommend you to anyone!

Never in a million years did I think I would allow our mom to be placed in care other than our own. It was through much thought & prayer that we made the decision to do so. My sister & I researched other places. This is where we felt the most at home. Mom is doing so very well here. We are so pleased with her care & the love & concern of the staff. If we have any concerns, they encourage us voicing them. They are quick to address those concerns. We are very happy with our choice & mom is quickly making friends & feeling at home in the Memory Care Center, for which we are so grateful. Stacy Steiner My mother has lived at the Gables for about one year now. I have been so impressed with the wonderful staff there. They are caring, positive, and attentive to her needs. Jared, the director has been excellent to work with. My sister was able to arrange our Mom's room with things from her home so that it is similar to what she was used too. It is very comfortable & the Gables has such a warm & friendly feeling there. When my stepfather passed away, the staff were so very kind and respectful & allowed us all of the time that we needed with him. I appreciate the good & nutritious food that is served there, along with the snacks that is brought around 2 times a day. I also appreciate the activities that are provided for the residents. My mom is happy and feels safe there. I am so grateful for all that the Gables has provided for her. I would highly recommend the Gables Assisted Living to anyone.

This facility is fantastic and strives to provide the best care for it's residents. The new remodel looks magnificent and it's new memory care is wonderful. The team members are warm and friendly and greet family, friends and outside services. The building feels more like a home than a large facility, yet provides the amenities of the larger facilities. My mother was getting to the point in her life where she was needing more help with daily living. She was extremely hesitant about going to Gables or anywhere. Once we finally got her into her room everything in her life changed for the better! She has to have a special diet and they make sure she gets only what she can eat. She found out the food was fantastic!! Being married to a chief she was sure she would hate the food, but she loves the food and she also feels better now that she is eating the correct food. She is constantly telling me the staff makes her feel like a queen! They are loving, and extremely caring! Hands down an absolutely perfect place for my mother! She loves it there!

I took a tour of the facility and was impressed how clean and modern it was. It felt like a cozy home to me. The staff were all friendly and courteous, the management was very informative and helpful. I was able to see inside 2 different suites and really liked the layout and options provided. I liked that the residents had 2 snacks daily brought to their rooms on top of the meals. I was able to look in on a crafts session in which the residents were making a polished rock necklace. The had a big bingo board in the recreation room, which they said is a real blast when they all get going at it! You should come check The Gables of Ammon out and see why people really like this facility! They also offer some memory care and have ranging care options depending on how much care your lived one requires. Taking care of your lived one is important to not only you, but The Gables of Ammon staff as well. To ensure less falls The Gables of Ammon has instituted an active check policy in which the staff does a hall sweep a few times an hour to check on the residents. This proactive approach has decreased the amount of falls. I like forward thinkers and those that are proactive! This policy signals that The Gables of Ammon cares about thier residents and is willing to put in the extra effort and physically check into something, instead of being passive and just reacting to falls when they occur. Based on what I have seen and experienced, I would highly recommend The Gables of Ammon to anyone.

My great grandparents are loving life again. They are very happy here, and are able to do so much more now. The staff is friendly and loving to them, as for the whole family. It is a "just like home" atmosphere that makes them feel most comfortable, and we are able to see them any time of the day.
