My 90 year old Grandmother has recently had to make some big changes in her life. My family and I are grateful for all of the support that the staff at Myrtle Beach Manor Rehab Facility and Assisted Living have given us. All the way from the administrative, to nutrition, nursing and tech staff have all been helpful in guiding us to make the best decisions for my Grandmother. Dorothy and Carolyn have gone above and beyond to make sure the transition from hospital to rehab and now to assisted living has been as smooth as possible for her. My Grandmother has always been independent and stubborn, this new home and staff are allowing her to be the same independent and feisty woman we love. It is also going to give her the ability to be more social. The past few weeks have held a lot of changes for my Grandmother and we believe it has all gone much smoother than expected thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful staff at Myrtle Beach Manor.

My mother has been here for 6 years. It has been a blessing to us as my mother absolutely LOVES it here. The facility and staff are always very nice and helpful to her. The leadership team is awesome! From the Executive Director, Assistant Director, Activity Coordinator, Housekeeping, and Maintenance guys, all are always willing to help if situations arise. They always have an “open door” policy for family members which means a lot. KUDOS and thanks for making a difference in my mother’s quality of life at this point of her life. I would recommend this place to any family member looking for a parent(s).

My mom has been a resident at Emerald Gardens for two years. She has had excellent care and made many friends with the staff. Recently I’ve had the opportunity to see just how kind, compassionate, caring and efficient they are. My mom had some health issues from mid November until the end of December when she was able to return home as she calls it. I had numerous concerns/questions and issues to resolve. Cynethia Allison, Resident Care Director and Michael Patterson, Executive Director made this go smoothly for her and our family. I really can’t say enough good things about their professionalism combined with care and compassion. I would highly recommend Emerald Gardens ASL to anyone looking for a family atmosphere for their loved one. They truly care!

My father is so happy here. The food is wonderful. He loves his apartment. Kim, the health and wellness director is fantastic and helpful. My dad is loved and well taken care of. He fell twice and I immediately got a call. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to their policy on our not being able to go into my fathers apartment. But I do somewhat understand that they have the residents health in mind. However, everyone is vaccinated. They do allow visitors to come and visit inside if given 24 hour notice. My dad likes it here.

I have an older friend who had been quite independent and was suddenly hospitalized and in need of full time care. We live hundreds of miles and many hours apart. Home Care Assistance was suggested and I am so thankful that we connected. Joy Sanders and her team of health care providers have been there 24X7 to be sure that my friend received the support and care that he needed over the past nearly two years. Being so far away was further complicated by the Corona 19 virus and although we were unable to visit, Joy and her health care providers were in constant contact with us. It was comforting to know that even though we could not be there he was treated like family and being given the care that he needed.
