I love this place if they would let me come back today I would in a heartbeat. It's bad when you give a two weeks notice and the manager doesn't put it in. I miss my residents and some of the people I worked with but most of all the residents I miss the most

My sister-in-law moved to The Inverness a few months ago. I have been very impressed with the dedication and care they give to the residents. There were some issues that had to be dealt with, and the staff and management team went above and beyond to make sure those issues were addressed. I was very impressed and grateful for their experience and expertise in caring for those who can no longer live on their own. Well done!

My parents moved into Inverness this week. They are glad to be there and excited to call this home. I spent time with them unpacking and was impressed with what I experienced. Robin, who was at the front desk, was welcoming and spent a few minutes talking with me. The facility was welcoming and very clean. I ate lunch with my parents and the food was great along with the staff. The staff I encountered were very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend Inverness to others.

As a healthcare professional of many years, I must say Inverness has ticked all the boxes of a Vibrant Community. In the midst of smiling residents and staff you and your loved one will find a diverse yet bonded atmosphere to reside in. From the well maintained housekeeping to the delicious food served in the dinning room- this place is sure not to disappoint! Inverness at Spartanburg is a must see! As well as being affordable in such a costly environment.

I worked for an Assisted Living community for 8 years. This is definitely one of the best in Spartanburg. None are perfect but this one is pretty close. My Dad moved here 2 years ago and we have both been very happy with his care.

My mother is in Assisted Living at Inverness, and although there has been a period of adjustment, it is clean and well maintained, there is a very good staff to patient ratio, medical services are provided, there is an monthly activity schedule, and the meals are nutritious and plentiful.

Yesterday's visit was a very enjoyable experience for us. Meeting the staff and taking the tour of the facility was amazing. Mr.Sander was especially kind and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and gave me Information to help in the decision making process. Thank you all so much!

My husband is a resident at The Inverness at Spartanburg and has been for a couple of years. Although there have been some minor issues at time the staff has always gone out of their way to correct any issues that may have arisen. This had been so important to me as I reside in PA and everything has to be done long distance by phone. Trusting the care of a love one to a facility Can be scary at times but not in the case of the Inverness. The staff is delingent, caring and very professional. With COVID 19 they have done everything possible to keep the patients safe as well as help them through this long period of no visitors time certainly not an easy task. I would highly recommend The Inverness at Spartanburg.

I feel that my mother is happy at Inverness and has round the clock care. I love the location on Country Club Road. I live close by in case I am needed. The atmosphere at Inverness is excellent. The staff are helpful and attentive. I feel very lucky to have found this place for my mother.
September 2020
In June of 2019 it was decided that mom and dad could no longer live on their own. After touring several facilities in the surrounding area it was decided that Inverness was going to be OUR choice. I am an only child and taking care of aging parents is quite the task. Since moving into what is now called their new home the quality of care and patience from staff has been unmeasurable! My father is resident chaplain and is very active with all the social activities provided. It is nice to know that both parents can now go to a singing or other functions and be safe. Mom is wheelchair bound and the great care that ALL of the staff provides her when needed is such a peace of mind. No matter what issues arise someone ALWAYS contacts me to let me know what the issue is and how it is going to be resolved. I can not say enough good things about Inverness. I go to sleep knowing that my parents are being cared for and watched over by a staff that has become part of our extended family. Just a side note.. during the "COVID" era, the staff has gone above and beyond to keep residents safe. I am always being sent pictures of both parents during different functions. I could not be happier with Inverness and ALL the staff!!!!

My mother has been a resident at The Inverness at Spartanburg for 2 1-2 years. The facility is beautiful, but more importantly, the administration and staff treat my mother with respect, compassion, and love. I highly recommend The Inverness at Spartanburg.
March 2020
thank you so much for the way youre taking care of my parents during this Corona virus. you have been so conscientious to be in contact with us, to send us pictures of them, to aleve all of our fears. thanks so much for taking care of them

Both my mother and sister was at Inverness. My mother was in the Memory Care and my sister was in the Assisted Living! Although they were both only there for 6 months , they were so loved by the wonderful staff. We lost my sister unexpectedly while she was there and I can not say enough about how we were treated during that difficult time! Then we lost my mother just 2 weeks later! The care that the staff showed my mom and my sister was unbelievable! They hurt as much as we did! I highly recommend The Inverness !
January 2020
We have been extremely pleased with The Inverness. Our mother moved there in the midst of the COVID restrictions, so things have been difficult, but the staff there has done everything possible to take care of our mom and to keep us informed. Emily, Julie, Patrick, and Miranda have done all they can to make her feel at home and give her the attention she needs.
December 2019
My dad had dementia and he lived in the Memory Care section for almost two years. The staff there was awesome. My dad was well taken care of and loved. I visited with him different days, different times and very often. Staff never knew when I would show up and every time I walked in all was good. I even ate a lot of lunches and dinners with him that was provided for residents and must I never had a bad meal all was good. I highly recommend Inverness for anyone with dementia.
September 2019

5 Star rating for whats important for an Assisted Living facility. 1) Safe and Clean environment 2) professional and caring staff 3) social events and activities continuously 4) quick response to customized requests from family 5) Dr. Connectivity so your loved one has around the clock care I am not concerned about past employee comments as that is a different dynamic between employee/employer I am not privy to. However, I think it is very important to understand how they care for my mother. They do all they can to insure she get showers, clothed and gets out of her room to get meals and social interaction. And I have seen them do this for others. If someone is throwing water around and walking around naked this is not appropriate and usually is an indication of a bigger problem (Alzheimers). The Inverness is an assisted living facility and I understand they have an Alzheimers unit upstairs. My concern is my mother not be integrated with Alzheimers patients and from what I see The Inverness does a wonderful job of this. Thank goodness they removed an unruly person so he could not possibly injure my mother. Caring for our loved ones is the most personal thing we will ever do and I dont want to diminish anyones situation. I wish all of you well in our journey to Care for our loved ones. So, there are my 5 Stars. Thank you Inverness for caring for my mother in ALL ways a family would. Chris

I enjoy working at Inverness I love what I do and I do what I love I have been doing CNA work for over 20 yrs and love it with a passion this is a beautiful place

I have had 50 years experience in the health care industry as a retired Naval Officer in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, a hospital administrator with both the Mary Black & SBG Regional Health Care Systems, a mental health counselor with the Spartanburg (SBG) Alcohol & Drug Abuse Commission and as president of the SC Employee Assistance Professionals Association. I think I can recognize quality care & support when I see it. And I do see it at The Inverness Spartanburg. My mother has been at The Inverness since Jan, 2017. And I can honestly say that she is in a safe, comfortable environment supported by a staff that has her best interests in mind. In addition, she has made friends with others who also live at the facility - another major reason for our opinion of The Inverness. I can also write that the best leadership team is now in place since my mother's move to The Inverness. The Executive Director, Nursing Director, Financial Officer and Sales Director are all competent, experienced professionals who are exceptionally approachable and willing to discuss any issue with the family whenever they can - an important issue for us, as well. These are the reasons my family and I give high marks to The Inverness in Spartanburg. C. Mack Amick, RN, B.S.N., M.Ed.

As one of the management team I have seen so many positive changes over the last year here at the Inverness. Our managers and staff are here to provide premiere care to our residents and families. Led by our Executive Director Emily who not only is a licensed Administrator, an LPN but also a Certified Dementia Practitioner. To read the reviews about the positive experiences families have had by trusting us with their loved ones is indescribable. It saddens me to read some of these negative reviews. But I take solace in knowing these are mostly written by ex employees who didnt meet our expectations to provide the best care possible or from uneducated families who just didnt understand the disease their loved one was struggling through. If you are in need of a premiere Assisted Living or Memory Care for a loved one I urge you to visit us. The atmosphere and level of care is exceptional and unlike any other.
November 2018
My Mom and Step father have lived at The Inverness for 7 months. The staff has always tried to accommodate any requests we have. Of course, it is not perfect---but what is? Any time I have gone to the management with concerns, they have been addressed. The facility is constantly being upgraded. They have events planned for any of the residents that are interested. There are special sessions available for the families to gather additional information on Senior Care, Dementia, and other Services available to Seniors. This is a very hard time for any family, so there are always concerns, but Patrick, Emily, Karla, and the caregivers really work to calm these fears and concerns.

I have worked here for many years and have enjoyed every moment. Ive had the pleasure of working with a great team of people , meeting, assisting and getting to know many wonderful residents and their families. Ive always thought that the community was lovely but the changes that have been made are impressive and have truly enhanced its beauty.

Taking a loved one out of their home is never an easy decision. After looking at numerous assisted living facilities we decided on The Inverness for our grandmother. When my grandfather died, they went above and beyond with looking after her. We fully believe having her here made the passing of my grandfather easier for her. The staff was extremely helpful during this time as well. Any time we have had an issue or question, the staff at Inverness has resolved the problem or helped with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an assisted living for a loved one.
November 2018
My mother has been at this facility for almost 5 months now. I can honestly say I feel so very blessed to have found this place. I actually live an hour away but could not find a facility near me that could come any where near matching the quality of care, room accomodations, food quality and "family" feel that is present here. They have a varied and stimulating activities program. The residents are social, engaged and treat one another as family too. The family nights are always a treat for both the residents and family members. Always something different and a ton of fun! I'm so very glad to have found The Inverness. I can't imagine a better place for my mom. She seems so happy and at peace which makes me happy and at peace.

We feel so happy to know our relative is taken well care of and has so many fun things to keep him entertained. We live three hours away and can't get there as often as we like but we do keep a close check as do other family members. Thanks again. We enjoy seeing photos on this site of the activities.
