Azalea Oaks Place – Reviews
June 2021
I Love this place. I had some free time on my hands that I wanted to donate. I pass by daily on my route and often thought of stopping to inquire. So one day I pulled in and knocked at the door. I was greeted with a big welcoming smile and the smell of something good on the stove. I was invited in after explaining my stopping. The stadfcharge was as pleasant as her smile was. The cleanliness rose above standards. The residents were so well groomed and involved. It was like a family setting not a facility. That definitely made a difference. I have never regretted making that stop. Though my visits have become few and far due to covid I still remain a big fan and huge supporter for the Lord's work being done there. The day will come when I too will need assistance and I hope there will be one empty bed waiting for me.

I very happy that my 93 year old mom is currently living at Azalea Oaks. She receives great daily care and I know that those in charge of her needs genuinely care that she receives the attention she needs to enjoy life. While the facility has limited rooms, I think that adds to the high degree of attention each of the girls of AOP receive. Being close to my home, and easy to access, I always know my mom is well taken care of at AOP.

I have no complaints of how my tour went of this community for my loved one. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to give us lots of helpful information as well as answer any questions we had for them. The facility was clean and they had a lot of great amenities available for the residents it was just not the right location for my grandparents.

I have known Dena Martin, the owner of Azalea Oaks Place, for many years. Dena has a heart for the care of elderly and has been praying for many years to open her own Assisted Living Facility. Azalea Oaks is the answer to that prayer. I know that Dena will provide the loving care necessary for each of her residents. Not only will Azalea Oaks provide for the basic necessities of life, but there is always an extra added touch of love in everything she does there!

I found Azalea Oaks Place when they put their sign up in the yard of their facility. We were looking for a place for my mother to live as she lived in Pennsylvania and could no longer go back to the cold weather. The day of their Open House we went to look at the facility. By the time we left that day, my Mom had already picked out her room and told the owner before we left, pointing to the room, "that's my room"!!! She had already made up her mind. The staff is so caring and helpful to the residents. The facility is very "homelike" making it an easy "change" for the residents. It is very clean, well kept, and the food is great. The owners are so good to the residents and to their families. They are very accommodating to all of us. This was a very easy transition for Mom and she has not complained at all. We would recommend Azalea Oaks Place to anyone who wants their family member to be well cared for and loved.

We are so happy that we found Azalea Oaks Place for my grandmother. From the moment we walked in we knew our search was over. It is a beautiful place with a homey feel. After meeting Dena the owner we felt at ease. You can tell she really loves the elderly and her staff and residents seem very happy. We smelled cookies baking in the oven for the residents and it just seemed like a home. Love that it doesn't look like a hospital. We knew we wanted my grandmother in a small place so that she would get more personalized care. You won't regret putting your family member in Azalea Oaks Place.
