My mom was a resident up until she passed last year. She was so happy when the little salon opened on her floor! I would speak with her weekly and she would always tell me about her manicure or trim. I remained in contact with some of her friends and was told that little salon and the proprietor are being evicted! So sad especially for the clients that have a hard time getting around like my mom. It was really the only reason she stayed there. I would give 5 stars if I knew Niki was still in her little spot doing what she loved and helping lonely people feel beautiful.

My name is Maggie Davis I live at Azalea park currently I would like to discuss an incident that happened this morning I had a doctors appointment this morning. I had asked both Lana and Dawn to arrange a ride for me to the doctors for several days since I knew there was a lack of transportation for almost two weeks. I came down early to remind Dawn since she said she would be here at 8:30. She wasn’t here and I asked the new sales lady if a ride had been arranged. She went back to the kitchen to find out. Most of the time everyone is in the kitchen first thing She came back and said they were trying to arrange for a van. She had no idea when that would be. As it was close to 9:00 I called and canceled my appointment. I was very upset. I have lived at Azalea Park for one year. I thought it would be a great place to live. I have been very upset that things have gone from bad to worse. The place is dirty and no longer where I wish to live I don’t know what happened to making sure the residents are taken care of. Your brochures misrepresented your true values Thank you

I went to visit my grandmother at her apartment at this park and she was telling me about how she had cockroaches in her apartment. I started looking around the apartment and ended up killing 6 cockroaches and I was only there for 30 minutes. My grandmother said that she reported this issue to management and that they stated that it was her fault because she has a dog. They did not offer any solutions to the issue. I asked other residents in the building and they also have the same issues of these cockroaches in their rooms. I really wish there was something that this facility would do to take care of their residents.

We stopped by this lovely place during our vacation 2024, we loved the central location between two metro, and greeted by the beautiful landscape and welcoming lobby, Dona is our hostess showing us around and very patient with our questions and frankly answering the questions about occupancy, prices and incremental and showing us the two available apt, one particularly interesting is you can walk out to the ground without going through lobby. A lot of Lakeland local called this place home for the past 30 years, we saw local young people from charity dining with seniors that days in their uniforms , Dona said that's a monthly visit , nice . Overall without all the glamour of other places, this is a local family friendly experience we have experienced and within our budget.

Nice facility from what I saw, BUT VERY HIGH PRESSURE sales and they will try to hold you to their terms so don't sign anything unless you are 100 percent sure you or your loved one will be there the entire time. Since we didn't actually live there I can't say how the rest of the staff is. They are expensive, as are most of this type of facility. I think someone who doesn't need a high level of care would do well here.

I was looking for the perfect place for my mom and this place offers everything. It is an independent living facility, with a PLUS! In other words, you can still get assistance with all daily living activities without going to a nursing home or assisted living facility. My 89 year old mother has a beautiful view and is very happy there! She loves her caregiver that assist her with all activities of daily living!

We are thankful to God for leading us to Azalea Park for our mother. For the past 4 years, age 95 to 99, mom has enjoyed the pleasure of her own apartment and space. She has, until recently, been able to participate in dining with friends and chosen amenities such as daily exercise class. One of the beauties of Azalea Park, aside from the beautiful grounds and well kept building, are the myriad of activities provided on a daily basis with additional family friendly events planned for special occasions. There are also gathering spaces families can enjoy together with their loved one. Grandchildren and great grands love to visit their Memere there. And even now, although physically unable to leave her bed, she has been able to continue living in her apartment with family and outside support and the caring/helping hands available right there at Azalea Park. After a number of complaints about roaches in my grandmothers room here, the facility failed to do anything to fix the issue. The inviting appearance of the main lobby and halls fails to represent azalea parks in its true manner, the rooms of the residents could be less of a concern to them, as it is not included in the full official tours. The residents that live here struggle with bugs and a unfit living environment. If you or your loved one is considering this place don't be fooled, and find a better well kept place that ensures not only the cleanliness but the health of their residents.

We had a nice tour with Brenda and Lara and then a nice lunch with Elsie and Donnie and they showed us their 2 bedroom apartment and I was very pleased to see the large room sizes and it is such a friendly place that I am going to work on getting our place sold and cleaned out so we can afford to live there. I just didn’t hear prices because they fluctuate accordingly so I am still a little bit confused about the prices. I am still checking out a couple of other places yet but I don’t think I will see anything better than Azalea Park!

Love it here! The staff is super friendly, the rooms are nice and they offer great food and activities. The only downfall is the public furniture in the hallways and lobby are pretty dirty. They definitely need to be cleaned. I would recommend Azalea park to anyone looking for somewhere to really enjoy life!
