What a great relief when i decided to transfer my wife to Valencia Hills through the help of Eva, Special thanks too to Amor, the director of Nursing and the admission manager, Keway who did her best to expedite my wife'a admission. So far me and my wife is very thankful for quality of care she is receiving from nurses Jason, Cottard, Viviana and CNAs Carmen, Christine. They are all very compassionate. Thank you to all of you.

Valencia Hills memory care unit is by distant the foremost remarkable memory care I've ever experienced in my 16 years in healthcare! The staff are caring, well-trained, compassionate and full of humor and great cheer. Your loved one is in a secure environment and among companions which incorporate the workers. Directly coming from office and experiencing multiple nursing homes within the encompassing region, I must say this facility is by far one of the best facilities I have ever been to!! All staff really care and they give the finest and upmost outstanding care. I have never seen staff that treat residents as family, but here they do. Therapy, activities, upper administration etc, they give respect and bolster to patients, and I must include staff is exceptionally experienced. I cannot suggest a more profoundly and proficient facility. Take a visit and meet the staff on their memory care unit! They are incredible! Simone you rock!

Working in the memory care unit for the past year has been a life-changing experience for me getting to know my residence getting to know my coworkers.Being on the inside of the walls and actually seeing things behind-the-scenes this type of profession is not for everyone. There is a lot of different things that we do with our resident from listening to music from coloring walking outside, looking at flowers from a sensory room. I love hearing the stories that my residence tell me.I cherish every moment I have with them. Our facility is a one team spirit facility and you don't get that often at other facilities. We work as a team not as a player. We encounter with family members and we absolutely cherish quality time spent with our residence. I have worked at a handful of different facilities in Florida and I have to say hands-down, Valencia Hills is five out of five the best one. I am grateful for the community we have in our facility. We are a very friendly and happy and up spirit facility. Working with the doctors , nurses, CNAs we have a great team. This is my other home. Thank you Valencia Hills for appreciating and knowledge the hard work of CNAs and nurses do . I would highly recommend Valencia Hills memory care unit. Us in the memory care unit are so loving and we care about our residence and their families. We listen to the needs of the families , 500 memory care unit is very friendly and she are always smiling.

I have been employed at "the hills" since 2010. I could not imagine working anywhere else. The employees are like family and we treat our residents like family. In nursing, you are trained to keep a professional distance from residents. That is not possible here. Our residents ARE our family. Staff go out of their way to make sure all the residents are happy, healthy and loving life. We have carnivals and pageants and fun times here that make even the sickest patients laugh. Laughter is the best medicine and we have it here in abundance!!! It shows in our staff and our residents!!

I work as a nurse on the long term care unit and have been for over 6yrs now, this place has always made me feel like I'm coming to a big family reunion when I leave home, so the staff are no longer co-workers, they are all my cousins, we take excellent care of our residents so much so they have become family as well, we talk, laugh and cry with our residents no one here is without family because the moment they come to the unit they have now adopted a brand-new family until the end.

Having worked at Valencia for the past 10 years, i must say it has been one of the most rewarding experiences. This job you have to do from your heart and not for the money. The residents are like our families and we treat them as such. Most of my close friends I met at the 'Hills' as we like to call it. Our pride and joy is dressing up our residents for such events like 'The women and Men of Valencia pageant'. Potlucks are a mainstay of the unit where each employees' culture is celebrated. Families are also invited to attend. Amor Rutherford is the best DON ever!!!!

I have the pleasure of being a nurse on the memory care unit, and I must say it's one of the most rewarding and astounding facility I have ever been employed at. Excellent team work. We have activities for the resident to participate in daily. The joys that over feel me when I walk into work and know I can put a smile on my residents face makes my heart happy. Your loved one is in great hands and will have the best care provided to them. Whether it's staff, residents, or outside individuals we are all like family! I advised anyone who is needing a memory care unit, to come tour the 500 unit at Valencia Hills!
