We have lived in this community for almost 18 yrs. Both of us love it here and hope to never leave. There is so much to do here but honestly we do not take advantage of it all. We are 45 minutes from Disney and spend a lot of time there. The community is a great place to travel from. We take trips and always know that our home is safe in our gated community. Everyone looks out for each other. The wildlife is amazing. Our kids love coming here to visit. We truly have a more active and quality of life than we did in Western NY.

The place is heaven has not changed for the 20 plus year's my parents have lived here. Just added more improvements. The landscape and attention to detail keeping this place in tip top form makes the fees to live here worth it!! The pools and clubhouse top notch. Great golfing and driving range. Just riding around the neighborhood is so relaxing and the wildlife is incredible you could see anything on any given day!! Close to everything in Lakeland but still has the country private feel. Will be moving here in about 5 to 8 yrs when I retire!! This place is worth the visit if you are looking for a place to retire. No more new lots but always something foresale!!

We lived at Cypress lakes for ten years after retirement. A medical emergency prompted our return to our home state of Iowa, yet we still make trips back to Cypress Lakes to see old friends. Are still amazed at the beauty of the place. Well maintained golf courses and streets. 2 swimming pools and hot tubs. A fitness center. Manicured yards, a clubhouse with grille, library, main hall, and meeting rooms. So proud to have called this home, and can't wait to return.

We are enjoying all the amenities offered here at Cypress Lakes. I enjoy going to the gym and CL has the absolute best gym in any of the retirement communities. We bought before the boom really took off in Real Estate so we plan to flip this house eventually and possibly buy something else in the community. Overall we are enjoying the lifestyle here at Cypress Lakes.

We bought our home in April and moved in August. We love this lifestyle. Patty was our sales agent and our closing went quick and easy. However, we've heard from a number of new residents that most of the sales staff are lacking home sale knowledge and often times either stretch the truth or outright lie when asked a question. Most of the new residents we have met all agree that the sales staff are basically used car sales people, and have no real estate knowledge what so ever. So, if you are thinking of buying here, be weary of everything the sales staff tell you and get everything in writing. Once you purchase a home and don't need to deal with the sales staff, the lifestyle is awesome!
