As a senior care manager and social worker Polk County, I must give accolades to Grand Villa of Lakeland for standing out as an outstanding leader in Polk county's senior living. The community is always clean and maintained to the highest standards. You are always greeted with a smile and feel welcome by each and every staff member from the friendly receptionist to the care staff and maintenance. The administrator, Tyrus ensures that all of his residents have the best care and attention. Communication with this community is seamless and response to needs is immediate. The director of nursing, Kim, is very in tune to her residents needs and communicates at a higher standard than most with family and care team partners. She is an amazing support and advocate for her residents needs and ensures the highest standard of care. What stands out as most impressive is the amazing memory care unit offered at Grand Villa. I have witnessed the most compassionate and caring interactions with the memory care residents by staff. The activities are always engaging, exciting and fun for the residents. The memory care residents are well attended to and always engaging with staff. If you are looking for a perfect new home for your loved one- look no further. Grand Villa will exceed all expectations! 5 stars all the way!!!

The staff at Grand Villa were amazing with my mom. They went out of their way to cook special foods and accompanied her while eating in hopes to get her to eat. Covid made it difficult for all of us and especially for those with Dementia, finding themselves alone like my mom. The staff was great in keeping us connected via their own personal devises and through many conversations during her time at Grand Villa. We were very fortunate to have Grand Villa care for my mom.

My mother has lived at Grand Villa of Lakeland for a year. I visit her about 3 times a week. Hardly a visit goes by without her telling me how well the staff treat her. She is always saying how nice they are. She likes her apartment and the many activities they involve her with. She especially likes the weekly trips out to eat lunch at a restaurant.

This facility is hands down, one of the best facilities in the area. I highly recommend this place for your loved ones. The staff go the extra mile and are sensitive to the needs of the residents. In addition, they have extremely creative and fun activities for the community. Theyre always doing something different and exciting. I truly admire when they display the residents creative art work throughout the facility. Its gives the residents a sense of autonomy and accomplishment. It truly feels like home. As a nurse, when my patients need to transition from home into an Assisted Living Facility this is my first choice!

What a wonderful place to work at and for your family members! Clean, well staffed and they really do make it feel like home and family. The ED and staff do everything possible to make your loved ones stay a fantastic , safe and friendly experience. And when I say this, I mean they go way above the expectations of any care facility I have ever worked at or visited. Constant care, entertainment, incredible dining, trips and much more. I give them 5 stars. And that is only because there are not more !

I was surprised when I walked into the community. I am from out of town so I wasnt sure what to expect. My mother placed our grandmother here so I was not able to see it prior to her moving in. It was very homelike and staff were friendly. My grandmother is in the memory care neighborhood. The memory care unit is spacious. I was expecting to see more of a nursing home. They have a bunny and birds for the residents. The residents were being served lunch and it was the same lunch as the assisted living residents. My grandmothers room was larger than she needed and very clean. The staff were very tentative. My grandmother is in a good place and she seems really happy.

My mom is currently a resident at Grand Villa Lakeland in the memory care unit. She has been there for a little over 3 months. I toured all the assisted living facilities with a memory care and by far Grand Villa met my expectations from the initial tour to the move in. I have met all the managers and they all know the business and are extremely helpful no matter what the time of day it is. The staff that care for my mom are always engaged and spending time with the residents. My mom always has a smile on her face when I visit and she is always involved in something . I just love that they have a real live bunny that the residents can bond with. They even take my mom out to eat and on joy rides she would have never been able to do that any other place in Lakeland. I really appreciate all that Grand Villa does for the residents and they have to be treating the staff good as they are always so happy

My Mom had been a resident for two years. She has been treated with care, love and respect. On top of that, the staff treats me with same care.. Patty at reception is always friendly. I cant say enough about the activity staff. Anna Maria and Alexis treat me like a friend. Both of them have sent me pictures of Mom and messages when I have to be out of town.

WoW! What an amazing place. The moment that we walked into visit for a tour two weeks ago we knew that this was the ‘right place for our Nana. The Executive Director Ty and the Operations Manager-Amy have been there for us throughout the entire process. We have had the opportunity to meet allot of the s taff as well and we can honestly and confidently say that each and every team member has been so very compassionate and so very helpful with the transition for my Nana. In spite of all of the challenges that each of the staff face on a daily basis, they manage to keep the place clean and the residents calm while maintain?ing a smile on their face at all times. .... this place clearly has great leadership that begins at the top and is definitely not lost throughout the staff. Our Nana moved in today and is spending her very first night at Grand Villa. I would be lying if I didnt admit that I am so very heartbroken to see her aging and progressing deeper into the throws of dementia but as we tucked her into bed tonight and left her sleeping peacefully, we felt a sense of peace and comfort knowing that she is in the hands of the precious ladies ( gentleman) at Grand Villa. Thank you for making one of the most difficult times in our lives a bit easier. Grand Villa - simply put...THANK YOU!!

Five star facility. The Director and Staff do a wonderful job. Its a homey and family atmosphere. It looks like home and feels like family! Beautifully decorated and very clean. The best care for the residents. The Director, Managers, Staff go above and beyond the call of duty. Lots of fun activities for the residents!!! They do a great job with activities and the resident care!
