My 97 year old father has been in assisted living In Venice for some time and needed additional personal care last summer. We were referred to McKenney and they immediately provided the care my father needed. The staff and caregivers at McKenney Home Care have been exceptional. It took a little time to find the right match but once we did we have been extremely satisfied. We dont know how we would have made it through this quarantine without our loving caregivers. We highly recommend the agency.

This company has been providing the most excellent service to my mother for over three weeks. My mom just got exposed to the Covid virus and McKenneys team has keep me posted and informed to continue to be there as I cant be there as my mom is an assisted living home. I am so grateful for their compassion and concern for mom as she is dealing with dementia. I am so overwhelmed with what Im dealing with but the company and aides have always put my mom first. Every step of the way we found the team to be extremely helpful, The Clinical Supervisor, Client Case Manager and the home health aid. Everyone was great to work with. They even helped us with using our Long Term Care insurance.

Working side by side and hand to hand with the staff at McKenney Home Care they have all consistently provided exceptional care for the clients that we have referred to them. My husband and I have been very pleased with their caregivers and other staff. Their model of staffing and oversight is different from most agencies. A nurse is assigned to each caregiver and is there to help the caregivers. They have regular care plan meetings to go over each care receiver. Also, the founding sisters are fascinating. They formed this business because they wanted a higher level of care for their father and they had trouble finding that level of care.

Our family has been very happy with the services provided by MCKenney. This is our first experience using a private service and we couldnt be more pleased! The front office staff is very responsive to our specific requests -questions and communicates changes to schedules quickly. More importantly, the caregivers that are with our dad daily are incredible, loving, and caring. Not only are they taking care of his physical needs but our dad views his aides as his friends and confidants. He looks forward to seeing theme everyday and even checks on them by phone when they are off. We could not be happier with the quality of services provided to our 83 year old mother from Mckenney Home Care. She suffered a stroke in April and after weeks in ICU and months in three different nursing home facilities we decided to bring our mother home and use McKenney Home Care services. Its been a wonderful experience from start to finish. The home care aids made our mother fell like a member of an extended family, and she was treated as such. The services were top notch, and every aid went above and beyond their job description. Every single person was upbeat, friendly, and happy to help with any and every inquiry she could possibly have had. We could not more highly recommend these people, as they changed how our mother operates in the world. At any time, day or night she was able to speak to someone, even about trivial matters. Each and every time, she was met with compassion and dedication. In addition to excellent personal care, the aids prepared every meal, provided light house cleaning, changed linens, did her laundry, washed dishes, took out the trash and even watered her plants. We highly recommend McKenney Home Care to you or your family members, its been a wonderful experience.

McKenney Home care provided 3 months of continuous care for my mother. They worked very consistently and efficiently to meet my mothers needs, which included feedings through a g-tube three times a day by personnel other than the live in caregiver. All of the staff were courteous, caring and qualified. It was difficult to have someone living in your home for my parents but the staff was very respectful and delivered care and support to my father also. We felt that our parents were very well supported when we could not be there. The administrative staff really listened and cared to meet all of our needs. I am a practicing hospice nurse and I highly recommend McKenney Home Care.

McKenney Home Care was recommended by a respected senior services provider. My husband needed care and support, initially, with just companionship. The need rapidly progressed to help with walking, driving to and taking notes at doctors appointments, feeding and personal care. The administrative staff efficiently met all our constantly changing scheduling needs. During my husbands final weeks, they were able to put in place a care giver team, who moved in and out of our home easily and seamlessly. Each individual was qualified, caring, respectful and very patient. They did everything possible to make my husbands final days as caring and comfortable as possible. Our adult children and I felt that we had a caring and professional team at our side, at all times, during this trying time in our lives.
