I moved my mom to American House Bonita Springs a year ago from another assisted living facility that was not servicing us as we wanted any more. The transition was bumpy because of her, not the staff! I felt so much more compassion and understanding from the staff than I had felt in any healthcare setting. They were so patient and kind and reachable! From the sales staff (she is not at all a sales person she is a decision support and care strategy partner) to the chief of staff (so kind compassion and responsive) to the ED (help with corporate navigation and education) to the daily aides. All have changed my life and are an extension of my family care plan and have improved the life of my mother. And father! He’s in independent living and his feeling of security and peace has changed his life too. He’s less depressed and making new friends and everyone knows and loves him there as people whoever have met does! American House at Bonita Springs will help you through this season of your life! If you are considering it, I tell you, move there. Your life will improve from peace of mind and connected to care.

I can’t say enough about this facility. From the day we came to our first visit, to the move in process and beyond to present day. The staff here is absolutely incredible!! Going above and beyond seems so natural for this crew. Kristy- absolutely great job selling this place as a great fit for my mother. She couldn’t be happier with the quality atmosphere. Pam- Guided us through the move-in process. She does a great job explaining the nuts and bolts of adjusting to American House. Stan The Man - Coordinating and entertaining the community is no doubt a tiring and thankless process but he displays never ending energy and unlimited kindness and compassion to each community and member. The concierge team; Susan, Rochelle & Ann- They couldn’t do a better job greeting with a smile and helping to answer the countless questions the folks have here. They always make you feel important and special. Nolan- The kitchen runs like clock work and the food and service is excellent. The presentation is like that of a fine dining restaurant. And.. all the executives here who hire great staff and work so hard to make this place look awesome!! So pleased with every aspect.

The caregivers are really caring and I really appreciate how the meals are complete, served nicely and dessert is a treat for all the residents at dinner. The activities keep Mom engaged. I waited one year to write this review. My mother has been a resident at AH-Bonita Springs for one year, and I'm grateful we found this community. After relocating her from the home she'd known for over 20 years due to increasing memory issues, the transition was incredibly difficult for our entire family. She could no longer live independently, and honestly, I worried about how she would adjust to an assisted living environment. One year later, I'm relieved to say she is actually thriving. The structured routine and consistent medication management have made a tremendous difference in her quality of life. In addition to the clean and aesthetically beautiful grounds and building, what truly sets this facility apart is the staff “ they are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming to my mom. Watching my mother settle in and find her rhythm here has brought me the much-needed comfort during a challenging time. I want to especially mention Denise, Eneil, Julie, Lori, and Erica P. in the Business Office, who have gone above and beyond. Their kindness, understanding, and professionalism have made all the difference. It's been a positive experience overall, and I feel confident that mom is in the right place at the right time in her life. That peace of mind is invaluable.

I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at the Assisted Living facility at American House in Bonita Springs. My mom was originally a resident in the Independent Living section, but after a hospitalization, she needed to transition to Assisted Living. This was a major and emotional adjustment — not only for her, but for me as her daughter. From the very beginning, Julie Schultz has been by my side, guiding and supporting us through every step of my mom’s care. What started as a very difficult situation has now become a much more reassuring one — thanks to Julie and the incredible staff at American House. With their compassion and dedication, my mom is now feeling truly comfortable and settled in her new home. I’m especially grateful to Kristie Lycos, Julie Schultz, Eneil Norame, and the nursing team — particularly Tamika — for their kindness, professionalism, and the warmth they’ve shown not just to my mom, but to me as well. In addition, Chef Martin and his kitchen staff have been wonderful — especially Fallie and Kristiana, whose friendly and caring nature means so much. Marta from housekeeping has also gone above and beyond to make my mom feel at home. Each of them has treated us with such respect and kindness, and it truly makes a difference. For anyone facing the difficult decision of choosing the right care for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend American House in Bonita Springs. The staff truly care — and it makes all the difference.

My experience with American House has been great. When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile, warmth, and compassion. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to support both independence and safety. The staff are attentive and respectful as well! We have had great communication with the aids, med techs, directors, physicians, and general staff in the community. The Outpatient Therapy services are also a huge benefit! They are highly trained but very kind and motivating. American House is a great place to call home.

I met Bonnie McVeigh today at Walmart of all places. She was dressed for Valentine's day. I asked where she works. "American House as the activities director" My face falls. Had to put one of my dearest friends into memory care there two days ago. We chat for several minutes. She asks if she can give me a hug and tells me even tho she works in independent living she will deliver a rose today to my friend! Not sure I have ever met a better equipped or kinder individual! My mom is being cared for in the memory care unit at American House. I moved her there from another memory care facility in Naples which no longer provided her with adequate care. I visited a number of memory care facilities. I am so happy that I chose American House. The switch over to American House is like the change between night and day. Rory the Community Relations Director answered all my questions when I first visited American House and then helped facilitate her move. Tisha the Director of Wellness made sure that my mom's medical needs were in place upon her arrival. Her co-worker Jeff in the memory care unit promptly answers my questions about mom's medications and care. The facility is clean and the staff that works with her on a daily basis are extremely caring. My mom enjoys the meals that are served and her appetite has increased since she entered American House. Bethany the Activities Director for memory care provides stimulating daily activities and also arranges for outside entertainment to be brought into the facility for the patient's enjoyment. Shelby the Executive Director expertly coordinates the staff to ensure an organized and smoothly-run facility. Mom is receiving excellent care from all the staff. If you are considering a move for your loved one I highly recommend American House.

I love this place! Everyone, and I mean everyone, does their job to the fullest! American House is a kind and caring community. When I bring my husband to stay for respite care, I usually have a mental checklist of concerns that need to be addressed. For example, physical therapy scheduling, medicines, billing questions and fun activities that my husband can participate in. All of these requests are taken care of in a timely manner. As I walk through the corridors I am careful to note how the staff is addressing the patients. They know everyone by name, and are thoroughly familiar with their limitations and needs. The patients are treated with respect. American House does not have the glitzy chandelier and the three story high atrium to welcome you. What it does have is a staff that greets you with a warm smile! I am eternally grateful that I have found them.

The greeter was friendly & helpful with the new check in process. Since it had been awhile since I had been there she made sure to answer any questions I had in regards to finding the room. When leaving I used a different elevator near the trash room & I was all turned around at the ground floor. One of the maintenance ladies helped me find the most convenient exit for my walk to my car. She was very pleasant & helpful. Besides the nice employees, I found the building very clean and nicely decorated for fall. I would definitely look at American House if I had a need for a family member.

I give American House Assisted Living and Memory Care high marks. My parents were both in Assisted living for a few years, with my mom then being in memory care for a few years. I felt all the staff were attentive, looked after their needs. The staff were good communicating to them and me, I live far away from Florida, so it was especially important my parents were at a place where they felt comfortable, and I knew they were well looked after. My Mom & Dad have been there since 2016. The first year was very good and since my dad passed last year, your facility has undergone many changes and going downhill. A few nurses and certain aids that are left, have been good. As time has passed, going on your third director and cook(s) you have been spiraling down fast. Lack of (qualified) staff and response time because of that. You need to become the responsible and respectful place we once seen in 2016.
