Good afternoon. I drove down from Citrus County to visit my Aunt Marilyn for her 90th birthday. I think your facility is lovely. Everything is well kept, and the staff is friendly, informative and accommodating. My aunt seems happy and satisfied with all that is available there. She deserves the best. My parents are on the waiting list for a two bedroom apartment. Everyone has been wonderful through this whole process. I live in St Louis Mo. so it's been very important that the staff be communicative, and they haven't let us down. I'm looking fwd to an overnight with them once they get settled in. ??

Hurricane Irma dealt a devastating blow to the Naples area, knocking out power to Terracina Grand for several days. My parents live at Terracina and based on the building's structure, their medical needs and the fact they were not in an evacuation zone, they made the decision to shelter in place at the facility. I live in Ohio and was anxious about what the day of the storm and the days after the storm would bring for my folks . My anxiety was quickly abated by the ongoing communication provided by the facility as well as members of their corporate team. Communications started prior to the storm via posted updates on the facility's website and continued during and after the storm. I was updated frequently via cellphone and I never lost confidence in the management's and staff's ability to problem-solve the power outage during the extreme heat of the Floridian summer. Portable cooling stations with water and generator-powered AC units were available to residents inside as well as air-conditioned buses placed on the grounds to provide additional respite from the heat. These efforts helped to prevent medical issues for the residents. Executive Dierector Kim Te Brugge showed tremendous resolve and complete dedication to the residents by actively engaging with local and state governments to get power restored to the facility earlier than the expected timeframe given by Florida Power and Light. The leadership of the Goodman Group provided additional support to help ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. Terracina is a beautiful community which is well-staffed with caring individuals during the normally idyllic conditions in Southwest Florida. It is a community where seniors thrive. But its ability to rise above the chaos during a natural disaster is what made me submit this review. If I could give Terracina 100 stars, I would. I am forever grateful. Bonnie McDaniel, RN

Terracina Grand has opened their doors to the families of their employees and their pets during Hurricane Irma. Also, residents may have their families and pets stay with them in their apartments. What a gift to share such a wonderful and safe building. It is rated for a Catagory 5 hurricane. And, it is not in the storm surge area. Thank you, Terracina Grand from our hearts. ?

My father and mother moved to TG almost four years ago. Now my mother lives there alone. Fellow residents and staff made both their lives more interesting and wider. After my dad died, my mother has been comforted as much as possible by her community there. I have been more secure about her life because of staff communications.

The staff is wonderful. The facilities are extremely clean, and tastefully decorated. There are a wide choice of activities, which are fresh and new, and sometimes old and comforting! The building itself is showing a little age., But aren't we all! The communications between the facility and the family is wonderful! Very comforting to know our parents are in a home that is so caring and dedicated to the safety, well-being and comfort they so deserve! All in all a very fine facility that Mom is grateful to call her "forever home"!
