I feel compelled to write because the North Naples Brookdale has gone above and beyond for our family and I want to share our experience of the last two years.My parents chose this particular facility because assisted living is mingled in with the independent living. This was important to them because once one may need assisted living, it’s nice not to be separated from friends you have made. Many other places do this once you have needs. It was also important for my parents to feel like it was a nice place to live with a vibrant and interesting community of people. They moved in the Fall 2019, not knowing what to expect, and right away my mother especially blossomed with the friendships she quickly formed. Then the pandemic hit shortly after and, like everyone else, they were quarantined. Brookdale did a really great job keeping spirits up and virus free.Sadly, earlier this year, my mother had a health event and she declined quickly…but they were there every step of the way. My dad has since formed friendships which he treasures and is genuinely grateful for the warm atmosphere they provide. Breakfast with friends, pizza nights, happy hours, and music activities are all really important to him. We just feel like they care which is so comforting. In a day when it’s well known that assisted living facilities are faced with challenges, we are pretty impressed.

My Dad is so happy here! I can sleep at night knowing he is in a great place with awesome people. I live in MD. So far... I visit every 5-6 weeks. The staff always makes time for me! Thank you Brookdale North Naples

My grandmother is doing very well with her move to this community. She loves it here, and I'am comfortable with her move to this community. We recently had a hurricane, and they handled the situation very. The staff with above, and beyond to make sure everyone was safe. She is safe, and in good hands. This is a community I would recommend to my family, and friends.

My father in law is happy living at this community. The staff did a great job during Hurricane Irma. They had a generator. They did a good job of watching everyone to be sure they got the care they needed. The food is good and he is happy with the activities. I would recommend this community.

My mother, Ina Funk, has been a resident at Brookdale North for about two years. Living in Indiana, it is often difficult to have her so far away from my family. But, because of Brookdale, and the staff there, I have never worried about her well-being or her happiness. Thank you to everyone there, and especially to the individuals that keep family informed through Facebook postings. Sometimes the pictures and announcements are the only ties we have, and they are appreciated.
