A Place For Mom
We spent several days visiting [names removed] private assisted living home and were extremely impressed. This bright, cheerful home was immaculate. The garden is beautiful. Residents were up and active, smiling, friendly and obviously well-cared for. The private room we saw was spacious and spotless. Director/owner [name removed] was knowledgeable, forthright, kind, and competent. She instilled confidence in us. Her two employees were professional and friendly. We saw them interacting with residents positively. Residents smiled back at them and were relaxed. We saw trust. We ultimately went with a place closer to our home, but would have felt great placing our beloved father with Lorna. Highly recommend this warm and welcoming home.

We visited Lorna and Rolly’s private assisted living home several times looking for the best place for our beloved father. We were extremely impressed. This bright, cheerful home was immaculate. The garden is beautiful. Residents were up and active, smiling, friendly and obviously well-cared for. The private room we saw was lovely, spacious and spotless. Director/owner Lorna was knowledgeable, forthright, competent and kind. She was generous with her time and spent hours talking to us about her philosophy of care. Her pride and compassion were evident. Two onsite caregivers were professional and friendly. We saw them interacting with residents positively. Residents smiled back at their helpers - we saw trust. We ultimately went with a place much closer to our home (because of distance) but had reserved a room and felt great about Lorna’s. Highly recommend consideration of this warm and welcoming care home.

A Place For Mom
In touring these different residential group homes there were certain things I was looking out for. This particular home was nice. In many ways, it was very similar to others we had toured. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The residents seem content being there and happy. My mom and I have very similar taste and what I was looking for was a home that was spacious enough and not full of furniture and the owner's personable belongings.

A Place For Mom
The administrator was not available but her husband was and gave me a tour. He showed me a nice private, good sized room. The caregiver spoke good English. I liked that the owner's daughter was an RN.They did seem to have additional costs compared to other communities that have an all inclusive cost. I really liked it and wanted to meet with the administration for another tour but they will not do tours if they have no vacancy and at that time they did not.

A Place For Mom
I would have to say my favorite thing about this community is how accommodating the staff have been to my mother. They defiantly make sure to pay extra attention to her throughout the day and provide her with lots compassion and care. I also very much appreciate the chef and how he has been catering to her wants for her meals that she is requesting. I am very happy with everything and would defiantly recommend this place.
