Reviews Regents Point
July 2026
Excellent care, wonderful nursing staff. The PT staff is great. I was impressed by the freshness of the fruit and vegetables. So many places have wilted, old veggies and fruit. Here, they were wonderful. The only reason I gave 4 instead of five stars was the lack of a shower in my room.

Most importantly, It is not how grand the building is! And how soothing and beautiful is Maison Park! It is the loving, caring culture that permeates Regents Point!
May 2026
The staff is friendly and I feel they genuinely care about my mom.

A couple things stand out at Regents Point. First is its culture of caring, communication (up, down and among residents), inclusion and respect. Second is the quality of residents, their high education level, openness toward newcomers and willingness to get involved. Third is the variety of activities available. Fourth is the commitment of management and team members to create a friendly, interesting life style for all of its residents. It's like living with an extended family.

I love this place. I made friends, I like the food, I love the exercise facilities, I love Mason Park, I am so appreciative that someone comes running if there is a medical problem, I like living in a non-profit facility, and most amazing thing is having a tech person on call who fixes all things computer.

I've now lived at Regents Point for 3 years. The staff are so wonderful that it felt like home after 3 days. The residents are so interesting and friendly that I now have many new friends and our discussions are wide-ranging.

As an active 80-year-old, I want to be sure that the next chapter in my life will provide a vibrant environment that will continue to challenge me. Since Regents Point is near UCI, the location is a big plus for the many opportunities UCI offers. And beautiful Mason Park provides tranquility and serenity for casual walks right out your front door. I am not yet a resident, but my Regent Point move in date will be soon. Through the kindness of Director of Sales Eric Salgado, I have had the opportunity for tours and various interactions including talking with residents who graciously hosted visits to their units. Observing the staff’s caring and friendly exchanges with everyone generates a feeling of family. Even the simple act of providing name badges (which everyone wears each day) signifies their desire for strong social engagement and meaningful relationships. It is a community which cultivates a sense of belonging. When friends asked my impression of Regents Point, I have described it as the Ritz Carlton’ of independent living opportunities in OC. It is beautifully decorated, pristine, and feels so fresh. If you are looking for your next home, Regents Point will provide a warm, fulfilling and enriching life.

Great place. The residents are very friendly and welcoming, and they clearly remain actively engaged with the world. One example: The community maintains a large and well-organized library, with good depth across a wide range of interests. Another example: When we toured RP, a number of residents approached us to chat, and they were happy to show us their apartments. Eric from Sales also treated us as individuals and tailored his discussion to address our specific questions and interests. He devoted several hours to us during our tour, and many hours after that. Highly recommended.

Thanks for this opportunity to share my thoughts of Regent Point. I live here and consider RP as my home. When I chose this place it was because I found both the staff and residents loving this place. A nice combination to find success in my choice. Starting with the professionalism and friendliness another nice combination. I especially wish to thank Ms. Miliena Vo Who is very resourceful, polite, reliable and dependable, expeditious, and easy to talk to. It’s nice to see her smiling face and willing attitude to find solutions to any issue. For her, multitasking is a great asset. Great kudos for being in the front line that new people encounter ad they walk in. From: Dr. Nida Fernndez-Flynn 10/5/2025

My husband and I are active seniors in our 70’s. We wanted to do our children a favor by being proactive about downsizing our life. We decided to find a retirement community that would supply our current need for comfortable independent living, but also offer other types of care for the future ” assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. We are so happy to have found everything we desire in a senior community at Regents Point in Irvine. We are now living in a beautiful apartment that was remodeled to our specifications. The staff and other residents have proven to be very friendly and helpful. There is a strong feeling of community here. The amenities include a fitness center, library, a full service dining room (plus a separate Bistro), outdoor pool, lawn bowling and a putting green. The days are filled with a wide variety of activities. An added plus is the close proximity to the University of California, Irvine and Regents Point is adjacent to the beautiful Mason Regional Park for leisurely walks. We highly recommend Regents Point to any senior who is ready to find a welcoming home and community of friends.

Toured Regents Point and found it very invting. Residents and staff were friendly. Best thing is the location being near Mason Park.
September 2025
Regents Point is a gem in the heart of Irvine. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the community feels welcoming and vibrant. The villas offer some of the most stunning views I have ever seen at a senior living community.
September 2025
We have lived at Regents Point now for 2 1/2 years. It truly is a continuing care (or life plan - 2 terms for the same thing) community, with all phases of care compassionately and enthusiastically provided for. We have found all the staff and most residents to be extremely friendly. We moved here from a 55-and-over independent living community (no health care component) and the diffference is astounding: there people didn't know most others; those they did, they seemed to dislike. Here, everyone gets along, there are an average of 7 things to each day - trips, lectures, exercise, sports, games, Bible studies. The staff bends over backwards to try to please everyone. We've made lots of friends here, we like the restaurant which is a great way to get to know others and exchange stories. Each of us can do as much or as little as we like.

Was instantly aware that the people were special. From management, to the team, to the residents. It felt like a true community.

The most frequent comment I hear from residents is that they wish they would have moved here sooner. That speaks to the quality of care and the positive milieu at Regents Point.

Regents Point is a wonderful place to retire. We looked at a number of Retirement Communities and found Regents Point to be very friendly and very well located, with a large park out the back door and UCI a block away. Irvine is a magnificent city. We are enjoying our fourth year here. Join us.

I feel very fortunate to have found a place like Regents Point, located close to the coast, next to a major University and a big Park to walk in and the climate is great. The atmosphere is friendly and caring, staff is wonderful. I feel at home spoiled!
May 2025
We have now lived here for 23 months. It felt like home after 1 week. Regents Point is extremely friendly. This starts with the attitude of the management team and extends through most of the residents. Our apartment is spacious enough for our own needs, there are guest rooms available when we have company, food is available 3 meals a day with good variety. The best thing is all the new friends we've made, followed by the caring staff. Lots of things to do!

At Regents Point there is a strong sense of community between residents and staff members who are referred to as "team members". At Regents Point Residents receive support of body, mind and spirit, and there is a strong emphasis on providing residents with intellectual and entertainment stimulation.

My first introduction to Regents Point was through their Sales Director, Eric. When looking at senior living options for your loved one, it can be overwhelming. While touring with Eric I felt at ease and he made sure to introduce me to current residents which made me instantly feel like apart of the Regents Point family. The grounds and buildings are beautiful; kind of like a hidden Oasis in the heart of Irvine. Go check them out!

I moved to Regents Point just a little over two years ago. Upon moving in, I was immediately struck by the genuine, friendliness of the residents and staff. Now in my third year at RP I have come to experience a culture of respect and authenticity, not only among residents and team members, but between co-workers and co-workers. There is a kindness and a sensitivity that permeates the entire campus here which extends to Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing, under the capable direction of Ashley Croslin, Director of Wellness Prigrams. I know this because I visit those levels of care regularly. It is very obvious that people like living here. People like working here. It is also abundantly clear that the tone for this environment at RP is set by the example of the Executive Director, Melinda Forney, who has dedicated her life to the care of the senior community. Her sensitive, caring attitude is reflected throughout the life of the community. She maintains an open-door policy of being available to residents when necessary; and responds to phone calls and emails in a very timely fashion. I am very happy to call RP my home since my family lives in another country.

I live at Regents Point with my dog Billy. Sometimes I am too busy but a swim in the pool or a walk in the park lets me relax and enjoy being here.

Regents Pointe's Windcrest facility was an answer to our prayers when it came to friendly, positive, professional staff who actually care for our mom (who suffers with dementia, severely handicapped and needs 24/7 care). The food is excellent; the facility is always clean. There are interesting activities planned daily, and they help even those who struggle to participate feel included. Mom has never complained about living at Windcrest and she feels safe there. I enjoy coming to see Mom at Windcrest because I am greeted personally by staff. It feels like we are a team. I am always able to find out from a nurse, or other staff, information about how my mom is doing. Very grateful we became part of the Regents Pointe Windcrest family!

When you move in here, you will immediately be made to fell welcome. As someone said to me, "Everyone here is a friend you haven't met yet." This has proven to be true. If you plan to come, don't wait too long, Come in while you are still relatively active and independent.

The 6 1/2 years I have lived at Regents Point have been among the best years of my life. Being a nonprofit, we have more than 50 volunteer committees so residents are involved in all aspects of life. Administration is extremely capable and receptive to our ideas. We have all levels of care on our campus: independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. It is so freeing no longer to have the exhausting responsibility of a home. If I need my windows washed, an appliance fixed, transportation to the doctor or dentist, IT help, or anything else, I put in a request and it’s done. Meanwhile, I’m spending my time traveling, participating in activities around here, walking to the nearby shopping center, or getting some exercise in Mason Regional Park which is adjacent to our property. Life doesn’t get any better than this!

You really need to change the secondary font on the place (The font Futura.) Because I really dislike that font, but this place is really pretty because it’s in one of the prettiest counties in the state.

My wife and I moved to Regents Point a little over two years ago. We knew that we were going to a very nice facility located near the UCI campus where we could easily walk to the shops that support the campus. What we didn't know was that we had a large group of friends that we had not yet met. We a happy here and glad we made the move. We are part of a fairly large group of residents who visit and do other volunteer work at the assisted living and full scale nursing facilities on campus. In total about 20,000 hours volunteer work is provided each year. So those people who go to higher level of care than independent living get good professional care plus the equivalent of about 10 extra people who do volunteer work. I submitted this review because I have been so impressed with the programs I see (when I am doing volunteer work there) being offered to the residents in the assisted living portion of Regents Point (Sunridge). jk

This is a first rate facility and the staff is the best ever. Moved my mom here after being in another facility and the difference is like night and day. We met a lady here that worked here for 27yrs and has come back to live here now. As she told me, ''I loved this place so much I wanted to come back and live here''.. that alone says alot . Only facility in Orange County has has a full time registered nursing staff. Highly recommended ..you will not be disappointed.
