My father has lived at Sunrise of Mission Viejo for nearly four years. The facility itself is homey, comfortable, and clean, and it is more affordable than most of the assisted living facilities I toured. But the real stars are the people who work there. The staff is friendly and caring, and everyone seems to go out of their way to be helpful. Most importantly, they treat the elderly residents with respect. I am also very grateful to Tisset Domingo, the Executive Director. She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate the needs of the residents and their families. If you are considering an assisted living facility, look no further!

Sunrise Senior Living-My father has received long-term care here for several months. The staff members know his daily routine, food preferences, and medication schedule. That personal attention has helped him feel more comfortable and less anxious.

My Mother has advanced dementia. After much research and many visits to other facilities, I moved her to the Reminiscence Memory Care, at Sunrise Mission Viejo. From my initial tour to my Mom's move-in and subsequent care, we have received nothing but first-class service, communication and genuine care from everyone I have interacted with at Sunrise. Most importantly, my Mom is engaged and quite content when I visit her.

Our family moved our Mom Beverly Clark into Sunrise of Mission Viejo, a little over a year ago. We visited many facilities and found Sunrise to offer the most inviting and home like atmosphere and also the best medical care. We have been so happy with the care Mom has had at Sunrise. She has made so many wonderful friends and really enjoys all of the activities and outings that are offered. The staff are all wonderful and always so helpful. We just attended a wonderful and delicious Mothers Day brunch. I am always impressed at how the staff all work together as a team to put on these beautiful events. My family recently toured this community for my grandfather and we were truly impressed. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the environment felt warm and inviting. Although my grandfather isn’t ready to move in yet, this facility is definitely at the top of our list for the future. The care my dad has been receiving has been wonderful. Roselle is one of his favorites. She greets him with a smile every morning and spreads joy whenever she is helping him. After yesterday, I had to leave a review. My mom is in memory care and has been for 1 week (yes just 1 week). You wouldnt expect much in just one week. But thank you to Denise, Charlene, and everyone else (yes everyone there plays some part in my moms care), because my mom was 10 years younger yesterday. After visiting 23 places on OC, Sunrise of MV was the nicest place, with the most caring and helful staff, with the most attention and enthusiasm to my moms overall being. Thank you Sunrise!!

I have been living here in Independent Assisted Living. This is a very beautiful and comfortable place. The staff is very helpful and any problems needing repair are dealt with promptly. There are many activities available with a very outgoing knowledgeable staff. There are even special activities off site ( such as movies and luncheons) on weekends in which a small bus with a few wheelchair accommodation. There is an extra charge for the ticket or meal with these special activities.

I'm sitting at the Retinal Office in Laguna Hills and witnessed something I've never seen before. A caregiver named Michael from Sunrise Senior Living in Mission Viejo is here assisting a lady. And wow. All she casually said was she was a little thirsty. He got up immediately and got water for her. He helped her throughout her wait. Just wanted people to know that he is a great example of caring and customer service. That leads me to believe that this place cares about our seniors.

It has been two weeks since my mom has moved into Sunrise of Mission Viejo. Patti the Director of Sales has been a pleasure to work with. The transition has been very easy. I have begun to rest easy knowing they are taking good care of her. They have welcomed my mom warmly. They keep the residents busy with having a ton of activities for them to enjoy. So far our experience has been extremely positive.

My father has been at SR for around one year, with assisted care. The staff work very hard to keep him comfortable, which can be difficult for older people who are always coming up with new complications. The facilities (commons and rooms) are very nice, and the location is excellent. I'd love to see lower charges for all these services, but there's no way to square "high quality" with "low prices" so you need to pay for value.

Our uncle has been an assisted living resident of Sunrise Senior Living Mission Viejo for five months now. We are pleased he has acclimated to Sunrise's residential living and is content and well cared for. He especially likes the weekly musical entertainment and good food. My sister and I appreciate Sunrise's leadership team's good communications regarding our uncle's health and day-to-day care. Last week our uncle celebrated his 100th birthday! Many thanks to all the the staff members who helped with the party arrangements, cupcakes, and balloons. The activity room was a perfect place for us to have a quality birthday party for him with friends and family. He really enjoyed his special day!

I have entertained at many assisted living and memory care facilities, but I always thoroughly enjoy performing at Sunrise of Mission Viejo. The residents are very happy there and are well taken care of by the wonderful attentive staff.

I am 89 yrs old and currently assisted living resident in Sunrise Mission Viejo for the past two years. I am still mostly independent. I came from a similar assisted living facility from an other state. I find Sunrise a good place to live. The staff here is very friendly, highly dedicated to provide excellent care to to every resident according his or her needs. There are a number of entertainment programs, both inside and outside of the building. Our dining room personnel is lead by a professional chef and providing 3 meals a day. Besides the several highly qualified nurses and other healthcare workers there are frequent visitors by local doctors, NP's and PAC's. Our building is located within 3 minutes of a Fire Station and about 3 miles of a high quality hospital.

My mom has been here 3 1/2 years now and is very happy. The entire staff are friendly, attentive and compassionate. I especially appreciate the care team and nurses for always keeping me updated about mom's condition. Whenever I've had concerns or questions, they've responded right away. Executive Leadership, Sales, and Care teams are all first rate! Even during COVID Pandemic staff worked hard to provide the best care and atmosphere for residents to have a comfortable and safe experience. Executive Director/Sales worked on initial pricing and has been fair throughout including VOLUNTARLY lowering costs when care was no longer needed at a higher level. Obviously if you are reading this, things are stressful...I found the team to be a valuable partner in helping me make tough care decisions. Our mom was only there a short time before she passed but the management and staff could not have been more supportive, kind and caring toward her in these final days. They recommended a great Hospice Care team and did a great job during these very hard Covid times. we highly recommend Sunrise.

I moved my Grandma into Sunrise Mission Viejo 1 year ago and they did a great job taking care of her during her stay! My experiance with the staff was always positive and they never disappointed me! Anne, Trish and Patty are professional managers whom i trusted throughout my Grandmothers stay. The only reason we left was to move my Grandmother into another Sunrise closer to where i live and Sunrise Mission Viejo made the move very easy by sending all relevant info to my new Sunrise location. I appreciate all the hard work the staff did during my Grandma's stay Especially the kindness and friendship that Doris gave her and the personal assistance Charlene gave her when going on shopping trips! Grandma loved the bus rides and field trips! I highly recommend Sunrise senior living homes to anyone looking to have great elderly home care in an assisted living community! Tricia at Sunrise is wonderful as is all the staff. She made the move-in process effortless for myself and my father. She, Ito, Joy, Charlene, Barbara and Doris are always available to answer questions and offer assistance. My dad is living in a 5 star resort with a 10 star staff. I no longer have to worry about him. Sunrise has been such a blessing to me! I highly recommend them to everyone!

I took a tour today and I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I liked how clean the areas are and the residents seem happy and friendly. I am thinking about moving my father in-law there. It is the best assisted living facility I have visited.
