A Place For Mom
Based on the experience we have had so far we can say that we are satisfied with this board and care. The most important aspect with this community is the caregiving. The staff is very good at providing good quality of care for the residents.

A Place For Mom
We toured this community and they had multiple residences in the same space. They were not pet friendly and we wanted to use our own furniture but could not because they provide that.

A Place For Mom
We placed our Mom there because of her increasing needs due to dementia. The owner, Beth, is an RN who is very knowledgeable and personable. She has been easy to work with and understanding of our needs. The caregivers, Rose and Jonathan, are excellent. Our Mom has been a challenge in the evenings, and Rose has given her excellent attention and care to help in those challenging times. There is a nice community sitting area where the residents can watch tv together. They also have a large dining room table where the residents are gathered to eat their meals together. The back patio is covered so they can eat out there sometimes without getting too much sun. It also has a beautiful view. We are very pleased with the level of care that our Mom is receiving there.

They are very loving, caring and professional staff. Delicious home cooked meals and all private rooms. There is a very nice common area for residents to watch tv together and socialize. We are pleased with the care and attention to my mother.

American Legends Home is a well run facility that extends assistance so that your loved one is well taken care of. Especially welcoming was how the caretakers had all existing members of the home in unison greet my Father once he went through the door. This was very touching and helped ease the transition on the first day.
