A Place For Mom
Our family had an in person tour with West Hills and we had a good first impression. We felt our loved one would of received really good care living here. The reason we did not choose this community, is there are a lot of hardwoods and our loved one has a problem keeping their balance and walking so we thought that would of been an issue. However, when it came to the meal times there were no restrictions, they had a wide range of hours. You could come and go whenever you want which we really liked

A Place For Mom
West Hills Home Care, Inc. 11 is a wonderful place! When we first realized we couldn't take care of my Mom anymore we were very distraught over the idea of putting her in a board and care facility and then A Place For Mom recommended I meet with Mylene, the owner of West Hills Home Care 11. From the minute I walked in and she took my hand I knew this was the right place. Mylene was so loving and truly concerned with my Mom's well being and she's also a nurse. We looked at a lot of horrible depressing places and we are so grateful we found this home. The care givers, our favorites Carmina and Kenneth, treat the residents like family, they do my Mom's make up and hair and nails, the residents are always dressed and it's always spotless. They really take pride in caring for their residents and seem to truly love what they do. They also monitor vital signs, and medications and Dr. visits. They do fun activities and my mom is so much better emotionally and physically then she was when we had her at home with us! It's a social loving environment and they even have a dog, Shaggy who rotates from one lap to the next. I visit about 3-4 times a week, I never have to call first and every time I leave I'm so grateful that we found them. I highly recommend them!!!

I thought my tour was very good. I was able to get all the information needed to make a decision. As I looked around the community, I thought it looked not as clean as it should be. Otherwise, A Place For Mom has been wonderful.

Actually visited this facility on Oct. 15 on a personal recommendation from a neighbor. Excellent in all factors. Reasonable costs, clean, comfortable rooms, full staff of caregivers and cooks and they allow drop in visitors and allow pets to reside with patient/resident. Also allows hospice care.
