I have a client who just recently moved here and I can say Calligraphy lives up to the quality of services it advertises. The place is kept immaculately, the Concierge is top notch in their attention to the residents. Everyone on staff is effortlessly professional and full of kindness. The Med Techs, Caregiver's and Dining staff excellent as well. I would recommend this place to others and my own family member. 10 out of 10 on my list.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Calligraphy Westwood on several occasions. I am always amazed at how happy the staff and residents appear to be each time I visit. I have worked in the Assisted Living and Memory Care field for 23 years and know how difficult it is to manage a community this size. Farid and Stephanie, the Executive Directors are remarkable in their approach to both the staff and residents. They're willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the residents are comfortable and receive impeccable service. This is truly a world class community! I run a community in the West Hollywood area and feel incredibly comfortable recommending anyone to Calligraphy Westwood, whether it be independent, or for those who need more care including memory care. Calligraphy is beautifully appointed with everything that you could possibly want in a community. I would move in there myself!

Breaking News: Since the new management group has taken over the place has gone down hill. The prices are up, the food is awful, served cold, small portions, took >1 hour to get a hamburger last week while the rest of our party was eating. There is no one to talk to, no one on site to manage. The toilets are not as clean as before, and worst of all, Employee Moral is DOWN. These new guys have really messed up!!!

Mariam was clear, kind, and thorough when explaining all the agreement details, helping us feel confident every step of the way. And Davis Lee”what a gem. He handled every aspect of the move with such authentic care that I felt like I was working with a friend, not just a professional. His attention to detail, empathy, and calm presence made a potentially emotional experience incredibly smooth. When it came time to review the contract, Senior Executive Director Stephanie Walters sat down with me and my in-laws and walked us through it page by page to ensure we understood exactly what we were signing. It’s a lot of paperwork”and can feel overwhelming”but she made the process clear, calm, and seamless. After returning home, I looked up the company values of The Watermark, and what I read confirmed everything we had experienced firsthand. This place is good, the front desk was really nice and welcoming, when I came here to visit my grandma to eat with her in the dining room, the food was good, the only issue I have is with the host Naomi, she didn't greet my grandma and I, She ignored us and was on her phone, the time I was sitting down for lunch with my grandma she sat down other people on dirty tables and leaving them there. I hope my grandma isn't being treated this way. Other than that everyone was nice and welcoming. Thank you to all the workers!

I still am in awe this is a place that exists. I was very very nervous when we started looking for senior care in Los Angeles because I had heard so many mixed reviews - I had never imagined anything like the Watermark could exist. The facilities are stunning, well kept, clean and also stunning (!!), far beyond what I ever envisioned. Not only that but the activities and daily schedules are so fun & well curated. Our dad moved into the Watermark as we were planning his birthday. The Watermark offered to put together a wonderful party for us, working with us to craft a menu that would cater to all 20 of our guests' preferences, including a cocktail hour, appetizers, entree, and dessert, though we brought our own cake in. They did a wonderful job making our dad's birthday feel special. We had three staff members waiting on our party, making sure drinks were filled and food was delivered as requested. We were very impressed with this community. From the get go, we felt valued and wanted. Nicole, in sales, went above and beyond to try and accommodate us into a home that would meet our needs. The Valet, was so welcoming and fun. The residence felt more like a four seasons than a retirement home. However, the one bedrooms were very, very small (400-450 square feet). The price point was on the higher side, when compared to similar properties, but the staff was really superb and they really had a beautiful.

I evaluated Watermark in depth as a candidate for my sister when she needed to move to assisted living for the first time. Watermark was excellent in every way: upbeat atmosphere, individual room layout, beautiful community rooms and garden, delicious meals, kindly/competent staff and truly interesting classes. In particular, Lucy Laloyan coordinated my inquiries and patiently gave me every opportunity to become comfortable that the fit with my sister would be an especially good one. Lucy faced my many questions with a positive, problem solving attitude that took a lot of pressure off a difficult decision time. In the end, we were unable to move my sister because she became seriously ill at the last minute. Despite this turn of events, I remain impressed with Watermark and grateful to Ms. Laloyan for all the opportunities that they offered our family.

My mom moved into the Watermark in January and the experience has truly enriched her life. She tells me how happy she is to make new friends and be surrounded by so many interesting and caring people. The staff is incredible. They go above and beyond to treat the residents like family. Visiting is like stepping into a W Hotel. Family members visit several times a week to meet at the restaurant (which last week debuted a surf and turf A+). Wednesday is pizza night. Her unit is compact but first class - like living in a high rise on the Wilshire corridor. Everything about my mom’s experience at the Watermark makes her feel like she is at home.

For the purpose of this post I am going to attempt to keep this short, simple, and to the point (which will be tough). I will have to say I can't express how pleased I am with my experience visiting my father's only sister where she is at Watermark. Not only has it given me the opportunity to visit and spend more time with her, these past 9 or 10 months since she's moved from her beautiful estate in Orinda (which has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens due to her skill and talent gardening) where she spent close to 60 years there with her husband, I would admit there was a big concern in the transition and aware how challenging this situation could become due to all these profound dynamics in such a drastic change in one's life. Well, so far, in these last 9 or 10 months since visiting I could go on and on how pleased I am in the facility and it's humbled staff the positive impact Watermark has had in easing the suffering one could imagine such a change where to almost make a pleasant experience transitioning out of her incredible, beautiful, "dream-like" life in Orinda to a senior living facility. Let's just say I never enjoyed gardening, but this past weekend I spent a good hour down at Watermark's gardening area with her and experienced, as she sort of talked and walked me through how she's tended to her landscaping throughout her life. She won't say, but I will: I can see now and appreciate gardening like an artform as she took this dried out, drabby unattractive shrub area into this beautiful, eye catching garden of the building. Being able to continue her passion and love of gardening and my experience with her there - the feeling is hard to translate to words. This, let alone her new friends she's met and seeing how this staff handles my Aunt's needs...... the activities they run weather it's a work out class or card games, movie night, the local transport services down to the dining and food. Seeing this and being able to experience her transition I can say I would have never in a million years thought it would go as well as it has. I'm grateful my Aunt allows me to spend as much time as she does with her as it's brought a heightened awareness in thoughts of my own father. Thank you G. And thank you Watermark.

The Watermark is a really nice facility and Toby provided a very thorough tour. Probably a little too expensive for what we're budgeting, but it definitely looks like it provides a luxurious senior living experience with the utmost professional staff.

I have been to the Watermark to speak and I found it to be unusually cheerful and beautiful. I took the tour from a lovely man name Toby Zang , who was very helpful. We had lunch there and the food was very good. All the people there seemed very nice. It's definitely a new benchmark for assisted living!

Watermark is a very nice facility and great amenities and apartments for the tenants there. Toby was a great sponsor and host for the tour for my parents and family to have a look at the facility. We were provided a dinner meal, to experience the quality and variety of the food offered by the onsite chef. We were very pleased with what we saw at Watermark.

Answering each question or concern I had. She also gave me information on the fun amenities the building has to offer such as the full service salon and their multipurpose room. Banish any preconceptions you have about senior living! When you step into Watermark Westwood you may be confused thinking you entered a 5 star hotel. There’s plenty of WOW moments here as you take in the elegant and gorgeous ambiance, all the amenities, the white glove service, the restaurant quality dining room, outdoor patio, dog park.and they even have a pizza oven. And all walking distance to Westwood village and UCLA. If this is senior living, sign me up!

I had the pleasure of having Reggie Rodriguez, Director of Community Outreach, with the Watermark at Westwood Village take me on a tour of the property. I work with interim HealthCare, a local home care agency, and wanted to get to know the Watermark so I could refer clients who would be interested in a fabulous independent living or assisted living community. The Watermark did not disappoint. I was beyond impressed with the staff who were all incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. The building itself is impressive. I was in awe of the decorit was modern, fresh and luxurious. The interior and exterior areas were all places I would be happy to hang out in. They even have a super cute outside area for dogs! The dining rooms are exquisite and the food was deliciousReggie treated us to lunch! He showed us the apartments that were fabulously decorated and had a warm feel about them. The Watermark at Westwood Village is the BEST independent and assisted living community I have ever seen, and I have seen a few! It truly is a lovey community of caring staff and wonderful people who live there. If you are looking for a senior living environment with class, loving care and a devoted staff, this is the place to be!! Thank You Watermark at Westwood Village for your fabulous establishment!

Incredibly supportive and solicitous staff at every level. This elegant community has been a Godsend for our mother. Wonderful amenities, activities, dining, and especially caregiving. Cannot say enough about the advocacy and dedication we received from regional director Brandy Valencia when our mother was in hospital and returned to her home at Watermark requiring additional care. Her quality of life there is exceptional and gives our family great peace of mind.
