quality of care and staff attentiveness to my mother is outstanding. She is very happy with the quality of the food. Living at Atria is like living at the Ritz, not the motel 6 like so many other places we toured before choosing Atria

Atria Santa Clarita takes care of me just fine.

Atria Life Guidance has been a great place for my mom who has severe dementia. When I visit she is always well dressed and groomed and engaged in some group activity like music or crafts. The staff have exceeded any expectations I ever had; they are always helpful and patient and have consistently communicated my moms needs to me, which is very helpful. Many of the staff have been there a long time which says to me that its a good place to work. The rooms are lovely, the building is clean, there are staff everywhere, lots of care going on all the time. I also want mention that Atria admin has been very helpful, coordinating insurance things, going way out of their way to do an intake interview with my mom, things like that. Its not easy to care for all the folks in a memory unit but they do a great job.

I wanted to take a quick opportunity to recognize the team of Atria Santa Clarita for the professionalism and courtesy that not only we've seen (as kids of a parent/resident there) but that's shown to my Mom on a consistent basis. When we had to find an appropriate new home when we moved Mom out of her home (first time in independent living) we looked around thoroughly and found Atria to be the most open, comfortable, warm and welcoming facility and community. Like many, she did well until the pandemic and we moved her into the Memory Care facility...wish we did this some time ago as she has THRIVED!! She's active all the time with her friends & co-residents, Adrienne and Paul provide awesome communication and April and the team are great with activities, music, exercises and keeping things positive. Happy to have the ability and opportunity to visit and see Mom in her environment with great care and attention!

The staff keeps the residents engaged and motivated and happy. Adrienne the Director and staff keep me apprised of any changes or needs. It was a good move for him. Very happy with my decision.

We placed my mother in Atria Life Guidance (memory clinic) in June of this year. The communication and orientation to the facility was very thorough. I was immediately impressed with how Clean the residence was as well as kindness and helpfulness of all levels of staff. She enjoys and actively participates in the daily interactive activities and mealtimes. I highly recommend Atria, it has given my family a wonderful peace of mind knowing she has been welcomed into a new family where she is well cared for and happy!

Wonderful people and great staff
March 2022
I have always hoped that my parents would be able to live with me and/or my sister as they got older and we are trying to maintain that now. However, we are seeing that we might need more help in the future and and my parents might want more activities for themselves in a place like Atria. We all visited there together and what a wonderful place it was. My parents loved it. The staff was wonderful, the other residents were wonderful, the grounds were wonderful, the facilities were wonderful, -even the dining was wonderful. I would always like my parents to be in my home or my sister's home, but if not my home -then I would want it to be there.

I am beyond grateful for all of the care, professionalism and dedication at Atria Santa Clarita. Our family member needed immediate assistance and they literally jumped in and saved the day. When you have a family member who needs special care due to Alzheimers-Dementia, it is difficult to know where to turn. We thank God every day that we found Adrienne Hurd, Maridy Curry, Jordyn Joey Siegmund, Johnny Ortiz and the entire team at Atria Santa Clarita. They care about the residents as if they were their own family. Patient, caring, thoughtful, professional, dedicated...there are not enough words to express this amazing group of people. I will ALWAYS be their biggest cheerleader. If you are searching for the right place for your loved one, look no further. Trust me you will never regret entrusting them with your loved ones. They are Gods Angels.

I feel the staff at Atria are great! Everyone is friendly and very helpful. We brought my mom to Atria as she now has dementia and needs full time care. The memory care staff have been very supportive and are taking care of her. We chose Atria as we knew they have a great reputation and were familiar with the facility. If I had to live in an assisted living facility, I would definitely choose Atria! The staff are fabulous! I highly recommend this facility!!!

Atria is a wonderful senior living community in Valencia. I am so grateful the staff has such loving hearts and dedication to their residents. They go our of their way to make people like my mom feel like family (and that is what is most important). I have also been impressed with their COVID protocols.

I want to express my true gratitude to Maridy Curry and her team at Atria-Santa Clarita. I contacted Maridy in a desperate situation. My aunt was in the hospital and we werent sure if she would make it out, and my uncle suffers with Dementia. They either needed to move to assisted living or we needed in-home care. Maridy made time to meet with me and my sister to safely see the property (COVID-19 guidelines strictly followed) practically on a moments notice. I felt like I was walking into a 5 star hotel! What a beautiful and welcoming place, spotless, well-maintained and smelled so fresh and clean. She was patient and kind and was so thorough when discussing what they could offer to my family. Her boss event took the time to stop by (Johnny Ortiz) and meet with us to answer any questions or concerns. Both Maridy and Johnny were so kind and supportive. Maridy made sure that we knew whether my aunt and uncle moved to Atria-Santa Clarita or not, that she was always available as a resource and support. As it happened, we are not ready to move them to Atria just yet. However, Maridy offered me referrals for caregivers and other information that could assist us in the interim. She has even touched base with me a few times to see how she could assist me or to just check in and see how I was doing...WOW she is amazing! This has been an overwhelming and exhausting time for us, but, without Maridys assistance I cannot begin to imagine how difficult this process could have been. Thank you Maridy, thank you Johnny and thank you Atria-Santa Clarita!

We are Extremely Happy with Atria; both, my mother as a resident, and myself as her closest relative-advocate. I asked my mother how she felt, and she rated Atria 5 stars! Me, too! My mother was in ill health, isolated, living out of town by herself (after my father passed). We needed to relocate her, near us. I compared All of our options available. Atria, by far, is the best. All of the employees are friendly, supportive, welcoming, etc... Shes no longer isolated. Shes involved in numerous daily activities. Their attention to nutrition and activity has restored her health! Trust me, I did the comparisons. I was looking for a friendly, professional, active apartment style assisted -yet independent living situation; that could grow with my mothers needs. Another important point of consideration; nearly all of Atrias activities, dining room, etc, are centrally located and fairly close to even the farthest apartments. This is Not the case with some of your other options. This isa Very Important consideration, because it doesnt matter where you live or what amenities are offered (especially meals!) if its too far-inconvenient to get to. Especially if one is struggling with pain-disabilities. We are extremely pleased with Atria!

I was given a tour of the Atria facility because I am researching a placement for a friend. The staff was prepared, answered questions clearly and was friendly. The facility was spotless. The clients that I observed were engaged and happy. The gentleman that is going to be placed there will be in a place that we can trust.

A little over six months ago my siblings and I made the difficult decision to remove my mother from her home and into Atria. My mother had been living in her home for over fifty years and had recently lost her husband. Her wish was to stay in her home. However, we noticed that she was becoming more reclusive, skipping meals, and not keep track of her medications. At Atria, my mother has her own apartment which gives her independence. She no longer has to prepare her own meals and looks forward to eating her meals with her new friends. The activities are numerous, some of which include, poetry reading, fitness such as Zumba, Tai Chi, etc., a movie in the theater every evening, many musical events, Bingo, etc. Each resident is given a list of the activities taking place the following day. My mother looks forward and joins in many of them. The med team at Atria is very responsible and makes sure my mother has the medicines she needs and that she takes them as scheduled by the doctor. The staff was extremely helpful during the first few days of my mother's residency. Being honest, it was difficult for my mother and I really wasn't sure that she would transition from living at her home for so many years and then coming to Atria. But, listening to the advice from staff members and following some of their suggestions, made the transition much smoother than I would ever have imagined. My mother is happy at Atria and that makes her children happy. Caroline

Change can be good, change can be difficult. The day you or your parents realize that change is needed in their living condition can be a difficult one. For me that day came a couple of years ago. My dad had just finished a successful hip recovery, however, he was unable to walk unassisted. He tried staying in his home with some help but the limits of his injury caused him to be in many respects a prisoner in his own home. I found the courage to speak with my dad about assisted living and to my surprise he was open to the idea. After touring several assisted living communities near my home in Santa Clarita we stopped by Atria. From the start, we were greeted in a warm, compassionate and carrying way. I was surprised at how quickly my dad warmed to the idea of assisted living. He agreed to move to Atria on a limited basis. We kept his home while he tried Atria and assisted living. He kept extending his trail until the day he gave me permission to sell his house. Two years later and I could not imagine my dad anywhere else. I know it sounds counter-intuitive but assisted living and Atria gave my dad his independence back. From activities to dinner time with his group of friends, my dad has found a home at Atria and I have found comfort in knowing that he is safe, well cared for and happy. I know that assisted living is not for everyone, but as I discovered it might be for more people than you think. I suppose the success of my dads transition has a lot to do with the facility itself. Atria Santa Clarita is a community in the truest sense of the word. The staff and environment foster a family like environment. The staff is professional and most importantly, caring. My advice to anyone looking into assisted living would be to think of it as a new beginning. I would recommend that you visit a number of communities to see what works best for you and your loved ones. When visiting spend the time necessary to get a feel for the places, they are not all the same. And when considering which communities to visit, I would certainly also recommend that you include Atria Santa Clarita.

The facility is very nice and the aid-cafeteria-activity staff are excellent! Flo in the hair salon is wonderful and made my grandmother feel special. I found some of the office staff to be rather rude and unresponsive. Ultimately it is a very nice place just dont expect exceptional customer service.

We love Atria - the residents seem very happy there and in good spirits and Atria really does take the time and effort to find quality entertainment for them. Too many places charge and arm and a leg and once you move in, they do not go out of their way to keep them happy - not the case with Atria. That's my two cents worth. :>)
