Latasha Moody’s exceptional work ethic and kindness touches the family members of those who reside at Pacifica Senior Living in Newhall California in a special way. My mom has Alzheimer's and my grandma, 95 just broke a hip. They both live at Pacifica Senior Living. My dad who has Parkinson's visits almost daily. Latasha tries to make their difficult situation as good as possible by being kind and encouraging. Latasha is great about keeping me informed. She is proactive in her approach which is extremely important as I live hours away. For example, my grandma needed a wheelchair pad to avoid skin breakdown. Latasha let me know right away so we could address the problem immediately. Working with Latasha is easy and straightforward. She is reliable, consistent, and kind. Thank you Latasha!

My journey as a fledgling health care worker begun three years ago here at Pacifica Senior Living, and it was nothing short of fairytale rollercoaster ride; with of course a little bump here and there. At first I was anxious, but I have this drive to do my best in serving this community and the wonderful people in it to the utmost of my abilities. Anyway, all of my anxiety were quickly swept away by the warm welcome from the staff and the community as a whole. Three years later here I am; now a part of Management of Pacifica Senior Living. Overall, I can honestly say that our facility is one of the best. I know this because I experience first-hand the dedication and work ethics of our staff. Things might not always go smooth sailing all of the time, but through the challenging moments we always push through as a team of professionals.

Our experience at Pacifica Senior Living in Santa Clarita was one of excellence! The staff was very caring, my Moms room clean and the food was great! As my Mom progressed in her disease of Alzheimers, the staff continued to provide her with excellent care. She has since passed away, but we miss the friends we made at this facility. They become part of your family. Thank you again to Pacifica for your wonderful care of our Mom!

We had an awesome experience at Pacifica, the staff is so friendly and caring. I had the pleasure to meet the Memory care director and she was super nice, knowledgeable and answer all our questions . Making the decision to place a loved one in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community can be very stressful. It seemed to be overwhelming, and with COVID-19 very challenging. We are so happy with our decision to secure an apartment in Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. Working with their entire staff, from the administration, medical staff, concierge and maintenance, we never felt stressed or overwhelmed. The transition went so smooth, very profession and very quickly. The staff was excellent with communication and compassion. The Staff at Pacifica has been amazing! Our mom has been in isolation due to Covid for 2 months and they have arranged video zoom calls, asked us to make video calls to show her and have updated us every step of the way with what is happening. Best news is that our facility is covid free. Thank you to all who work there who have stepped up during these unprecedented times.

My mom is 86 and shes been at Pacifica Senior Living for the past 8 months. I have to say that Ive been extremely satisfied with the level of comfort and care mom has received while at Pacifica. Pacifica provides the kind of environment that allows my mom to maintain her independence while ensuring she gets the right level of assistance she needs when she needs it. Pacificas caregivers are very kind and check on mom frequently; encouraging her to participate in activities that promote socialization and engagement. Fortunately, I live and work within 1 mile of Pacifica and visit frequently (outside of the recent quarantine). This allows me to have a good collaborative relationship with Pacificas staff - we keep each other informed as needed to ensure Moms health and happiness.

Working at Pacifica has been very rewarding for me. When Im not there I wonder how my residents are doing in my neighborhood. We provide them with excellent care. During this Pandemic, we try to keep spirits high with activities and games, painting nails, movie nights. Its been tough on us all, but we continue to keep our heads up and move forward day to day positively.

Having visited this facility for a fundraiser I can say how well organized, clean, and very friendly environment it is! Knowing some of the staff on a personal and professional basis I can truly say the care for the elderly is not just a job for them. Some have didicated their entire careers and lives ensuring the proper and tender care! Id be so blessed to find myself in a facility like this one day.
