My mother has lived at the Royal Oaks Inn for the past 4 years. My sisters and I have been very happy with the care she has received. As her medical needs have increased and her level of independence has decreased her care remains loving and supportive. She is always dressed nicely and her hair is always combed and styled beautifully. The meals are always homemade and fresh. I love that Royal Oaks is owned and run by a local family so everything feels more personalized. I appreciate that we are always welcome to visit at anytime of day/night and can always speak to someone at the front desk when we call. We feel very lucky to have our mom at Royal Oaks Inn!

I am so grateful to my friends who recommended Royal Oaks Inn to me! I am a family doctor who retired from my private practice 3 years ago in order to care for my wife. She suffers from FTD. Unlike Alzheimer's, FTD is a form of dementia that mercilessly strikes younger adults, first taking away their ability to reason, consider consequences, and empathize with others, and eventually to communicate and remember. Even with my knowledge of the disease and over 30 years in practice, I was no longer able to adequately care for her at home. So, last September, I was fortunate to be able to find Royal Oaks Inn. Holly, Brandon, Lucia, and the entire staff at Royal Oaks Inn have been life-savers! The care they give comes from the heart. Unlike the "mega-corporations" that own and run most of the facilities in our area, Holly and Brandon put their hearts and souls into their "mom and pop" (or, "sister and brother") home. Instead of investing in marble entrance ways rivaling the Four Seasons or the Ritz Carlton, Holly and Brandon have put their resources into building and nurturing a staff who love their residents. The result is an environment where residents are and feel safe, cared for, and loved.

My mother has been living at Royal Oaks Inn for the past few years, and our family has been very pleased with her experience. The facility is lovely, well-maintained, and provides a safe environment. The dining room is beautiful, and the caregivers are consistently attentive and kind. The manager is wonderful and always helpful. We especially appreciate the entertainment and special events during the holidays. Most importantly, Mom is happy and content. We are grateful for the care and support she receives.

My Mother has been a resident for 3 months. We have had caring nurses, caregivers, Hospice staff and the Front Desk staff is kind and supportive. It is family run which is so important and you are treated with respect. We are very grateful to have our mother there.

The staff at Royal Oaks took amazing care of my mother. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. They helped us move furniture into our mom's room so she could make her space feel more like home. The caretakers built a relationship with my mom and always checked in on her. I would recommend this assisted living to anyone who wants a safe, comfortable and well maintained assisted living for their loved one.

My mother was in the care of the staff of Royal Oaks for the last years of her life. I will be forever grateful for the kind and loving care that she received. My mom could be difficult at times due to advancing dementia but they consistently handled her with good humor and patience. Thank you Royal Oaks staff!

My mom lived here for 5 1/2 years and I’m so very grateful for this place. I could go on and on about the amazing staff and warm atmosphere of Royal Oaks Inn, but I’ll just sum it up like this: even though my mom passed away 8 months ago, I still go by (an hour away) to pick up the mail and say hello to everyone. And I try not to cry because it’s all so near & dear to my heart!

It was hard putting my Mom into assisted living/memory care - but we were so grateful that she received the most loving, attentive and comprehensive care at Royal Oaks. My mother-in-law happily and comfortably lived here for over one-and-a-half years. Her needs were always met, and we found all of the staff caring, empathetic and responsive to any concerns or questions the family had. (And, they knew when a sense of humor was needed, too!) We will always take comfort”and be grateful”that this is where she peacefully passed away, not long after her 100th birthday!

I would recommend Royal Oaks Inn to anyone whose family member has dementia or memory loss. My mother lived there for 3 years and was taken care of with love and kindness. The staff definitely care about the residents and treat them with compassion, dignity and most importantly make sure they're safe.

I highly recommend Royal Oaks Inn. I toured a majority of facilities from Agoura to Camarillo and I don't think any others can compare. While nice facilities, they seemed to have a "corporate" feeling. Royal Oaks Inn is family owned and Holly and Branden are there, each day, making sure the residents receive the very best care. There is also a very large staff of wonderful, kind, truly caring people. My mother was safe and well cared for and my family and I are thankful for Royal Oaks Inn.

My 92-year-old father has been receiving very good care at Royal Oaks Inn for the past six months. This is a well-managed, family-run facility that’s been around for about 30 years. Brandon, Joy Soleida here! My mother Yola Entz was a patient in Room #25 for a very short time. We went against her desires never to be put into an Assisted Living situation. We realized that we didn't have the ability to care for our mom after a few days. We are so happy with all of your staff! When they took over professionally helping mom. She did more things for your staff! We were so touched with the staff who even called her "MAMA" I'm trying to remember names but at a loss the names after losing mom. Lucia would take the shirt off of her back to accommodate mom. She is a wonderful addition to your place. We love her. She never complained! This was truly a community; the patients felt at home. My daughter and I were constantly amazed how the staff and Hospice care treated Yola like their own mother. The last outside adventure was your beautiful outside garden with roses and bougainvillea that she loved. What a nice memory to have for our family! We are truly grateful that we chose your loving facility that made mom happy when she was still cognitive. At the end she did not act herself and complained. We only saw good. It was good not to have feeding tubes, so happy for Hospice! Tree was beyond wonderful, very personal. Your facility was truly professional. Yola is at peace and so are we. Her book YOLA leaves her legacy. We are so happy we found you. Thanks for providing a large room that made her stay comfortable. Please thank all her staff for giving so much of themselves.
