The 7th floor has a large population of mice migrating from apartment to apartment. I moved my ex wife out of there. She was an invalid and was being evicted because of the mice. But they are all over. We heard from staff they are trying to get people out so they can do cheap renovations and raise rents. Another hock shop to screw the elderly. I have pictures. Email me.

I recently attended an event at Encino Terrace and it was amazing! It’s been newly renovated, and the residents and staff couldn’t have be nicer. A huge shout out to their Community Relations Director, Kendall Mesa, and Executive Director Rose Yousefian for making this event so wonderful with such amazing food and drinks possible.

One day I had a sciatica attack and I couldn't get out of my recliner. Mother Nature was calling! I called the Main Desk and told Alsvoldo I needed caregivers and why. In less than 5 minutes they were in my room and in 10 seconds they had me standing and there was no pain in doing so. One of them gently led me to the bathroom. After that was over, they asked me a few questions and l said I was OK then. Prior to there help, the pain in trying to get up was worse than having a baby. I will never forget that evening, how fast they were and how much better I felt afterwards. I wasn't use to wearing an alert button, so I forgot all about beeping for help. Couldn't have been faster then they were.

Atria Encino and its staff are second to none. You are greeted by friendly, knowledgeable, sincere staff everywhere on the property. Their senior living activities offer something for any and every type of resident. The rooms and grounds are meticulously clean. The restaurant offers absolutely delicious, gorgeously-presented meals for every palate. This location is a standout for the afore mentioned reasons and many more. A highly-recommended senior living property with a heck of a great location.

My 80 yo mother lives here. When we first moved in about a year ago the price was comfortable for us. In just a year of living here they have gone through 3 head nurses, 4 head chefs, 3 Directors/ management, and have increased the rent 8% to an almost unaffordable amount to pay on a senior who has a fixed income. BTW, this place is the more affordable place then the rest in the area of encino. They are not perfect, they will continue to raise the rent every year as much as they want to as these Homes are all corporately owned with zero regulation on rent control. in about another year 2025 this same 340 SQF. apartment will cost about $5000 a month. 2026 $5,800 etc. There is no stopping the corporate greed of these companies like Atria. Just know that going to find a place to live for your loved one will get increasingly more expensive every year they are living there. Atria corp has ZERO guilt about booting you out when you can no longer afford to pay up. it's terrible that the state of California refuses to regulate these housing community's for seniors.

Julia , Gustavo server ,Valdo. Excellent caring, helpful no words to explain how great it is to leave my golden years here. Gustavo the cook always try to please me so I can enjoy my meals Jose too I have lived at atria Encino Terrace for one and a half years I was very happy to have found this very charming and well situated facility closed to many restaurants and easy shopping the staff is very warm friendly and always ready to help with a smile we have outstanding entertainment managed by Julia who keeps us laughing singing and smiling and make sure we have excellent people coming in to entertain us and also to help us develop our memories lots of exercise classes and great happy hours Julio who is in charge of all maintenance is always there to help it’s always clean in the hallways and in our rooms all in all it’s been a lovely year and a half and I would certainly recommend Encino Terrace as a pleasant place to live

I had 2 tours, a year & a half apart. The first one no one was smiling - it was very gloomy. The 2nd one, all were smiling and it was a completely different environment and has been so since I moved in last May (2023). The food is exceptionally delicious and the waiters are kind and patient. And ladies, they are cute! Doesn't hurt, Ladies. (Gus & Alfredo) But even if they looked like Frankenstein, I would still sit at their table. The caregivers are quick and true to their name. And Veronica, my housekeeper, is a gem. She goes above & beyond. All in all Encino Terrace is a great place. And we have Bingo, Baby!!!

The people at Atria, especially P.K. are great. The atmosphere is friendly and I felt that they would do whatever they could to make my mom’s stay there as comfortable as possible. Although we did not choose Atria Encino, because my mom wanted a more apartment like setting, if you are looking for a good senior community, you should check out Atria Encino.

My grandmother resided at Encino Terrace for 2 years. I do not recommend Encino Terrace for your loved ones. The ownership does not care for the residents. Money is their priority. 1) Once you’re moved in, they significantly raise rates annually. My grandmother moved in at $3,100/month. At renewal, they raised it $4,100/month. $1,000 in one year; about 25% increase. There is no cap in the contract. 2) The management decided that they must administer her medications even though she preferred to do it herself. They added $560 per month just to get the meds from the pharmacy and sit beside her while she takes them. 3) The worst part is they forced her to take all the medications at once. Some were for before meals, some after meals, but they forced her to take them all at once and she became nauseous everyday. She hated it. She felt horrible. She told us she didn’t feel safe there anymore because they sat next to her and demanded she take all the pills at once. We were forced to remove her from Encino Terrace. We are now happy at another senior living facility. The price is $3000 for a larger room; the agreement states a maximum increase of $250/year; and they allow her to take her medications on her own. Beware of Encino Terrace. Throughout the two years she was there, many other residents also left because of the significant annual increases. They have a high turnaround. The ownership doesn’t care at all because they own many of these senior living facilities.

I visited multiple Assisted Living Facilities in Southern California before I selected Encino Terrace for my Mom’s new home. She has lived there two months. I’ve enjoyed many delicious meals with her in the Dining Room. The entire staff (Administrator, Receptionists, Head Nurse, Drug Techs, Housekeepers, Maintenance Man, Shuttle Driver, Wait Staff, Chef and more) are all enthusiastic, patient and extremely service oriented. There plenty of fun programs, parties and outings. My Mom and I both ENJOY every moment at Encino Terrace. I highly recommend the place for your loved ones needing some extra loving care in an Assisted Living facility.

My mother spent her final months at Encino Terrace and she could not have been happier. I can't thank the staff and residents enough for all the attention and love they lavished on her. The building is beautiful, the food nourishing...but it's the human touch that made everything perfect.

This last summer my 96-year-old mother spent two weeks at Encino Terrace Senior living so that I could attend a family wedding out of state. The executive director, Irma, kindly met with us 3 times before my mom actually started her stay. Irma was warm and welcoming and set the tone for her amazing staff and caregivers. Everyone at the facility - nurses, caregivers, administrators, activity coordinators, kitchen staff and maintenance - was so kind and companionate and attentive! My mother’s room was clean and cozy and comfortable. She enjoyed the dining experience: three meals with a varied menu always served by a smiling, upbeat waitstaff. The daily activities kept my mom engaged and interactive. I cannot express enough my gratitude for the kindness and caring that was provided for my mother. I highly recommend this venue and know that we will be using their services again in the future.

It was quit a stressful task to look for a new senior home for my friend’s grandmother, her current senior home was poorly run and she wasn’t happy and that was on top of all the challenges this past year with COVID ,we felt like the move must be done soon. I looked at a few places but the moment I met the Rafi and the crew at Encino terrace senior living ,I felt at home and knew this was the place for her! Every time I visit I’m greeted by gracious and happy people , I could tell right away that everyone working there is experienced and well trained and above all I get the feeling of coming home to my family which is how I would like to live when I get to that stage . They go above and beyond to make the tenants feel comfortable and cater to their needs , this is definitely the home for your loved ones, I’m so relieved knowing my friend is in good hands !!

I LOVE Atria Encino Terrace Senior Living! My mother has been living there for 5 years and she was only expected to live 3 months prior to her arrival. She is now 95 years old and doing remarkably well. Atria's excellent staff are the reason for her prolonged life. My mother's quality of life has grown exponentially since moving to Atria Encino Terrace. The many activities, delicious meals, and superior personal service are the reason why. I looked at many senior living homes for my almost 101 year old mom, when I moved her to LA to be near me. The reason I selected Atria Encino Terrace is because it was a smaller, more intimate environment that felt like a "home." I was also impressed with the staff. when I first met them. My mom has now been living at Encino Terrace for 1-1/2 years and I have never regretted my decision. Encino Terrace is a caring environment where my mom's emotional and physical needs are met. It provides daily activities in which she can participate, three meals a day, daily room cleaning, laundry service, social gatherings and most important a staff that is professional, caring, and tends to every issue... and believe me, at 100+ there are issues!! I can't be with my mom 24/7, so it is important for me to know that she is safe and well cared for. At Encino Terrace, I know she is.

My mother has been a resident of encino terrace for the past three years. My mother has received excellent care. The staff (and management ) are all very kind and understanding. I in fact I would use the word "love" in terms of how warm and caring they have been to my mother. They are very committed to maintaining her independence but also to make sure she is safe. I live out of town and when I leave after a visit to my mom, its very reassuring knowing she is in good hands. My mom enjoys the social activities. Because the facility is relatively small it feels like a family. I have the utmost confidence in Encino Terrrace and would recommend it highly.

Encino Terrace has been a Godsend for my father. Since day one, the staff has been nothing but caring, courteous, and professional. I don't feel they talk down to the residents, yes, sometimes they speak a little louder and repeat things, but that's because some are harder of hearing. The dining room meals are a highlight of the day for my father. He likes the food, and I have eaten with him many times and I feel the food is nutritious, tasty, and healthy. If a person doesn't like what the options are, they can always request a sandwich or go to the salad bar. His safety is paramount to me, and the caregivers and managers are on top of everything. Even the littlest things they call to my attention to make sure my dad is safe. And I would say it's a two way street, if the residents and their families are courteous and reasonable with the staff, they will respond in kind. Irma, the director, runs a very tight ship, and I have always had expedient follow-up with any concerns I have had. They are going through a remodel right now, and I can't wait to see the newly redone facility. Yes, there have been some negative aspects that come with any construction, such as noise, but it really has been kept to a minimum, and they are almost done. There are quite a variety of activities, and residents can or opt not to participate, but they always are encouraged to try. I also feel you do get value for your money. To me and my family, you can't put a price on peace of mind and safety for your loved one. As with most things, the more you communicate with them, the better things are.

My parents have lived in Encino Hills for 2 1/2 years. Although my father has now passed away, my mother is still there and loves it. They have recently remodeled earlier in the year and its beautiful! There is another entry about roaches and I have not ever seen them, but I know they have a regular service that comes in to maintain. The facility is very clean and the staff are like our family. The meals are wonderful and the dining room is open all day long, they have several A+ professional chefs on staff and the best and most polite waitstaff. You really need to go and check this out if you are looking for a place to live or a place for your family.
