2024 Top New Hampshire Senior Living Communities

Senior living communities are smart options for elderly adults with extra needs. For a small state, New Hampshire has an impressive variety of senior housing providers. What is the most relevant information you should be paying attention to?

Like most things, senior living communities have pros and cons. There is no 100% perfect fit, but there are some that will meet your particular needs better than others. Our list of the top 15 senior living centers in New Hampshire is designed to make this search easier for you or a loved one. While these providers all ranked highly, our senior living directory allows you to search for additional communities by city, zip code, and services. How a Life Insurance Settlement Can Help with New Hampshire Assisted Living Costs
Most senior living communities cost over $2,000 per month. Moving into a facility can be challenging, but anyone with a life insurance policy has a viable option to help pay for assisted living community costs. In exchange for naming them the beneficiary to receive your death benefit, life settlement companies will give you cash. The amount depends on your policy and the company, but this is a popular option for those who do not want to burden other family members with elder care expenses.

Ranking The Best Senior Living Facilities in New Hampshire

The Granite State has senior living options that span independent living to more community-based settings. We ranked the top providers on a 1 to 5 scale and considered not only the reviews left on our site but those found on widely used sites such as Facebook and Google. We then consulted the New Hampshire Department of Health to make sure there were no outstanding violations or citations.

The average cost of an assisted living center in New Hampshire is $3,100. This is a bit higher than the overall US average, and prices can reach the $5,000 range should skilled nursing or memory care be required. For $3,100, nearly all providers include meals, basic amenities, and services. There are many options under $3,100, but the amenities and services will be less and less as you decrease in price.

What residents and loved ones have to say about All American Assisted Living at Londonderry:

Mom has found a loving, caring and high quality home at All American. She has been a resident for about 5 years, and has done well living in both the traditional community, and now the Memory Care community, Rose Lane where she receives more focused care and attention. I recommend my friends consider looking into AAAL for their loved ones.

What residents and loved ones have to say about The Birches at Concord:

The Birches of Concord has done a fantastic job taking care of our family members during this pandemic! They were proactive early and are one of the few establishments that have had no resident positive cases. Families have a bi-weekly group zoom meeting with the Director and staff to give us all updates and answer questions that the families have. My mother has settled in very nicely and that is due in large part because the of the care and compassion she gets from the staff. I count being able to have my mother at The Birches of Concord a blessing.
