With trying to get my LO situated at Benchmark at Rye, I’m late doing this well-deserved review. When my LO reached the point of needing additional memory care for her dementia I started visiting memory care communities in the surrounding area. When I arrived at Benchmark at Rye to make an appointment to tour the facility, I was immediately allowed to tour on the spot without an appointment which set be back because most other facilities required appointments. I wasn’t rushed at all. I was and encouraged to interact with the residents. I was able to have an honest and open discussion with the different type of staff members. I was shown each type of apartment available and each one explained the set up and cost. After the tour, there was an open and kindhearted conversation about my situation and what were my future plans for my LO. The information and my observation/opinion from this tour was passed along to my children, who play a major part in this journey, and we determined that Benchmark was the place for my LO and their mom. With that said, we would not have come to this conclusion if it wasn’t for Kellie Housley. She conducted the tour. She was understanding, patient, concerned and yet a compassionate professional. There’s a saying that first impressions mean a lot and in this case it wasn’t wrong. My first impression of Kellie immediately put me at ease and she had all my questions answered before I could even ask them. Even after we moved my LO into Benchmark, she would follow up to make sure our transition and the care was as expected. Not too many people demonstrate that kind of human involvement and caring, especially after the deal is done. She’s the type of person, I think if it wasn’t for her place in the organization, would be a great friend. She is definitely a great asset to the community and you should be proud to have her. Our family is grateful we learned of Benchmark for our 98 year old mother. The staff in Rye NH infused her last years with love, kindness & personal care. The many activities helped to keep her engaged. Communication was ongoing, and easy to reach nursing staff or any individual with a phone call or email. They created a very special celebration to honor her 100th birthday! Thank you all for the gift of care.

Our mom lived here for the last two years of her life, including a Benchmark celebration of her 100th birthday last September! The team is so caring and attentive, from the aides and nurses, to the dining room staff and the administrators. We could not have asked for better care for our mom, including the hospice team that is available whenever needed.

After touring 6 other facilities in the area for my MIL we determined this was the best place both aesthetically and in care. The staff has gone out of their way to make her feel comfortable and engage her in what she likes. The transition from home care to facility care was seamless. Benchmark has been a blessing for my mom and our family, since our circumstances were not best suited to support my mom’s health and daily needs. I cannot express how good it feels knowing my mom living with frontal temporal dementia is in the right place for her happiness and safety. All of the staff works tirelessly to ensure my mom and all the residents are well cared for and loved. Truly mean it when I say loved; they put in the effort to build relationships with their residents, and families! I cannot fathom how myself and our family would be emotionally, physically, and clinically able to support my mom without them. From the front office staff, Nurses, Aides, PT/OT, Chef/Kitchen, to maintenance, we know the vast majority of the BM staff by name, and feel so welcome every time we step in their door. During one of the most difficult times in my mom and families life, BM has been there when we needed them the most. They truly are our extended family.

Benchmark at Rye is an outatanding senior care community. I have the privilage of visiting and sharing guitar music with the residents and am always impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. I love every opportuinty to visit this beautiful and cozy community that brings warmth and happinesses to the hearts of the residents. I get to see happy residents enjoying a program and a snack in beautiful living room and we always have a fun time! My husband has been a resident at Benchmark at Rye for almost two years. Suffering from advanced Parkinson's, he has been very fortunate to be under the care of an outstanding nursing and personal care team - as well as a caring and creative team executing activities/programs for the residents. Dining services is well above par for the industry and the Maintenance team is outstanding. Senior management is extremely professional and caring and always working on improving the experience of residents. The most important issue is that the staff at Benchmark at Rye truly care and love their residents -- it is authentic and sincere. I highly recommend Benchmark at Rye for individuals in need.

I cannot say enough good things regarding my father’s stay at Benchmark. Every team member in every department was kind to Dad, and we’re especially thankful to the nursing and care staff that attended to Dad in his final days. We were beyond amazed at the true kindness and love shown, and my family will be forever grateful to them all. Over the last year when I have been asked by friends and family how Dad was doing, I always replied the same “ He was in the best place he could be, and it was always true.

My father recently passed away and had spent his final year at Benchmark at Rye, NH. I cannot say enough about the amazing staff and how they treated my father with dignity, respect, concern and compassion. They became like family to he and his wife. So much so that they were all in tears upon his passing in one of the most beautiful paying of respects I have ever seen and it will stay with me forever. Having a loved one enter into a facility/Community is never an easy decision. Everyone at Benchmark contributed to making his final year one of laughter, community, and interaction. He was genuinely happy there. I could not be more amazed at how the staff handled his final week. Thank you just doesn’t feel enough. The decision to place a loved one in memory care is heart-wrenching. It will never feel like home to them or you, but the staff at Benchmark at Rye makes the experience feel as close to home as possible. My loved one's care is exceptional, with every staff member kind and supportive. There are plenty of activities, including outings, to keep him busy. His room is cleaned regularly, and his laundry is always fresh and neatly folded. I recommend meeting with a financial planner to forecast funds needed because healthcare costs in the U.S. are escalating. Retaining staff, improving the quality of services, and providing a clean and safe environment are central to Benchmark's goals. All of that requires a financial investment. No matter your chosen facility, you must be your loved one's advocate. Visit often.

My husband has severe dementia and is a resident at Benchmark. They have consistently been able to maintain his dignity, care for his medical needs and keep the family informed . They are able to provide a level of care and expertise that the family could not. This brings a level of " peace of mind" that could not have been achieved with home care or facilities with standards that are not as high as Benchmark. My wife is in late-stage Alzheimer's. Her time at Benchmark/Rye was a major blessing in my life. The people I interacted with at the facility, some management and some of the people working directly with my wife, were every bit as expert and caring as I could have wanted. My mother was under their care for several years, transitioning through memory and physical care to hospice. They were absolutely wonderful with her at all stages. Very caring and responsible. I was out of state but was responsible for her care management, and they kept me very well informed. The management, staff and facility there are alI exceptional. The Benchmark at Rye staff is always very friendly and respectful to the residents and their visitors. The staff knows the residents' names and address and treat them as people, not just as patients/residents. Everyone genuinely seems to enjoy their jobs and the work that they do. The Director and nurses are always open to addressing questions and giving updates on my loved one when I call to check in. The recreation staff does a great job of engaging the residents in a variety of physical and cognitive activities throughout the day. Overall, it has been comforting to know my loved one is safe and well cared for. Our family has been happy with our choice to move our loved one into Benchmark.

We could not be happier with the staff. Talia helped us get our dad, who has Parkinson's, get checked into Rye the following day. She was awesome! She worked with us until 10:00 PM to get all the paperwork completed on the same day, so he could be admitted. She went above and beyond! Also, the nursing staff I have spoken to are so kind, experienced with Parkinson's, and know just how to handle dad. We are very grateful to the wonderful staff at Rye!

After a few long and stressful months, my father has become a resident of Evolve at Rye. We could not be happier with the services he and our family are receiving. From the very beginning, Dean Kivela and the rest of the staff at Evolve have worked with our family to ensure that my father not only receives great care, but that he receives personalized care to fit his needs and wants. For example, the Physical Therapist sat down with my father and asked him what he liked to do. He told her that he liked to golf, so she brought in a putter and some golf balls and a cup for him so that he could stay active and sharpen his skills. Thank you to the entire staff at Evolve for providing my father with a safe and happy place.

I have come to look at Evolve at Rye with gratitude. While it was not easy moving my husband to Evolve, everyone, and I mean everyone, makes the situation easier. There is not a time that I feel disconnected or concerned for Tom's care. If I need to talk, someone responds. I couldn't possibly single out one employee because I feel that each and every one of them provide a valuable service. Would having him at home be better - yes - is it the best decision - no - Evolve at Rye is.

The loving care that my mother receives at Evolve is top notch. Marcia Hansen and Linda McCaffrey always go above and beyond to keep the residents engaged and happy. The kitchen staff is also wonderful. Mark LaBua is the most cheerful person I have ever met and is kind to all the residents and their families. The nurses and LNA's are wonderful. They do a great job caring for my mother. Samantha Elkin, Jenine Burnett, Connie Tebbetts and Casey MacDonald have all become like family to me and I am especially grateful to all of them during this pandemic. While I am saddened to not be able to see my mother daily, I am fully confident that she is receiving the absolute best care possible. If your loved one is in need of memory care, I highly recommend Evolve at Rye.

I have had the pleasure of creating meals for the wonderful residents over the last year. The staff here is so wonderful, and caring. Watching them interact on a daily basis is a treat. They are not just or residents, but our family. I know it has been a very difficult time, but we are working hard to keep everyone safe.

My wife has been receiving excellent care at Evolve at Rye for over a year. Marcia H. and Linda M., who are activity therapists there, have been especially attentive and kind. The nursing staff, aides and administrators have been uniformly helpful as well. I would recommend this residence for anyone who is need of the type of care they provide.

I have been very pleased with Evolve at Rye. My mother joined the community in early 2014, and I have really appreciated the care, love, and respect the staff has devoted to her over the years. Everybody has done their utmost to keep my mother both physically comfortable and engaged socially. One of the positive things I have noticed also is the very low turnover of staff -- suggesting a positive work-environment for the caregivers and LNA's as well, which matters a lot to me. To me and to other family-members the staff has always been enormously welcoming at all hours of the day.

We have found Evolve to be an outstanding memory care facility. The professional staff provides an unprecedented level of care for my 95 Year old mother. Mom is constantly stimulated by activities and is given love and personal attention. The facility itself is spotless and provides an upbeat living situation for her. Everyone is always smiling. She enjoys walking in the beautiful enclosed outdoor courtyard. There is onsite PT and in-house medical staff. I highly recommend this facility.

We are so very thankful for the wonderful staff and care at Evolve at Rye of our loved one. This is a unique environment and the only one of it's kind that has an open inviting atmosphere with lots of areas for their dementia and Alzheimer residents to enjoy and grow in the season they are in. caring staff My Dad went here when his Dementia became too much for my Mother to care for. The facility is beautiful, clean and secure. The staff is very friendly and always busy with the residents, playing games, walking around with, or cleaning. I was touched by the number of staff who came to my Dad's funeral after he passed.
