Tip: Selecting a Nevada Senior Living Community
You will want to consider a range of criteria when choosing a Nevada senior living community. Being close to family might be one aspect, but you will also want to know how close you will be to a primary care physician, hospital and what access you have to specialist. You will also want to know if there is transportation offered by the facility to medical appointments.
Ranking The Best Senior Living Facilities in State
We took a careful look at the Nevada Department of Public Health to see what facilities have regulation violations or complaints. We then looked through online reviews to see if customers are happy. We do not rank our list of facilities based on popularity or high level amenities. We look at how affordable the facility is, and determine what amenities are available to residents.
You can expect an average cost of around $3,750 for assisted living in the state of Nevada. The total cost is for your housing, all meals, laundry, and housekeeping services. If you need additional care, such as memory care, this will be an extra cost each month. The communities we have located for our senior living directory are within the average range for cost when it comes to assisted living facilities.

I’ve had the opportunity and pleasure to visit and work within the community over the past two weeks. Oh my GOODNESS, this is definitely the place for luxurious independent living!!! There WAS such a negative stigma associated with senior living, but nooooot here, it has changed MY perspective and has me planning for my Granny G to travel across the states to reside here. They truly provide exceptional service, which is a direct reflection of the NEW management team.

My mom has been a resident in memory care at Desert View Senior Living for the past 3 years. From the very beginning the staff has always shown great care for our mom and our family. We feel like they are our family. I want to give a great big thank you to all the medtechs and everyone at Desert View. There are just too many of your staff that I am grateful for to mention by name. I’m so glad we found you and hope this will encourage anyone looking for a safe, caring, and comfortable place for yourself or your loved one.

What residents and loved ones have to say about Carefree Senior Living at The Willows:
I am a new resident, but have been anticipating my move to Carefree for 3 years. I have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly, welcoming and generous with their time and support. Service requests are acted upon quickly. Covid 19 restrictions have limited in person gatherings, but we are still able to participate in activities via Facebook and Zoom. My apartment is a spacious 2 bed-2 bath and I have a beautiful view of mountains from my bedroom, living room and dining area. I have wonderful neighbors who made offers to assist me in any way shortly after I arrived. The location is close to shopping and entertainment. As I said, this move has been planned for some time and I am so glad that I am finally here.

We put our mom at Stone Valley in July of 2018. They did a wonderful job of taking care of her and keeping her safe. Sadly, she passed away in April at the age of 89. With the help of their recommendation of Kindred Hospice, she passed peacefully in her sleep. Thank you for all you did for her. I would highly recommend Stone Valley.
