I am Steven D. Egan. I am a retiree of the US Army. I am currently active with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10281 located in Vine Grove, KY. I am the 4th District Chaplain for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and I am filling in for the current VFW Post 10281. I was at the Veterans Day Celebration at the Dominion Senior Living of Louisville facility on 11 Nov 23 as the attending Chaplain! I was impressed with the attitude and approach that Ms. Connie Singleton when working with fellow employees and with the clients. As a matter of fact it seemed every employee tried to mimic her! I work here, in the Life Enrichment, department. I've previously worked here as a caregiver. I've watched this facility change management but with the current management, I feel appreciated and respected. They do what they can for the residents. I love all the residents there. I'm so blessed to be able to have fun with them. I never see them with a sad face. I'm happy to be part of this team and build relationships with residents and their families. Dominion really is a nice place to work and live.

My mom has live at Dominion for 2 1/2 years. I have met much of the nursing staff, management and aids over this period. At a time when finding anyone to work at all, much less qualified employees, is very difficult, I am amazed at the quality of their staff. Consistently they hire staff who genuinely care about the residents and they have certainly shown special care for my mom. For the most part the food is excellent...nothing is 100% but we are very satisfied. There are special events over the course of the year and they are well coordinated and my mom has enjoyed them immensely. Her quality of life has improved since moving to Dominion. Just the other day she told me how glad she is that she lives there, and this comes from someone who was reluctant to be there at first. I read a few poor reviews and I really don't understand. I am there multiple times a week and sometimes multiple times a day from 7AM to sometimes 10PM. Nowhere is perfect but they work hard to make it work well as much as a resident and family will allow. I am so glad we chose Dominion. PS...no one prompted me to give this review.

WOW! This place is BEAUTIFUL and the team leaders are the best in town! Dominion Senior Living of Louisville is a must see when trying to find a great place for your loved ones, and to top it all off- their mission is SERVING GOD THROUGH SERVICE TO SENIORS! Dominion of Louisville focuses on providing quality care for their residents. They make every person who walks through their doors feel at home. Dominion of Louisville is truly one of a kind! Also, their FOOD is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Louisville is very lucky to have Dominion!

My mother was the first resident to be admitted to the Memory Care Unit. The place is beautiful and clean. The employees take very good care of her and provide many activities for the residents. She seems to be very happy. Of course, with Alzheimers, she has crying spells once in a while but cannot explain what is causing her to cry. I am very happy with this facility and am Rey impressed with the care given my mother.

We moved a family member into Dominion about a month ago from another facility in town. The staff at Dominion are professional, sweet and caring folks. They have helped us in every way possible. The facility is beautiful, and she LOVES the food. The other residents are also very inclusive of everyone, which is so nice as new people come to reside there. We really could not be happier with our choice.

My Mom moved from another facility into Dominion Memory Care In July and we could not be happier with the facility, the amazing and caring staff, the quality of the food and the Memory Care Best Friends protocol they follow. We are truly blessed to have found this gorgeous, peaceful new Senior Living home. I would award 10 stars if I could!

My mother went to Dominion a month ago. From beginning until now it has been a great experience! The people at Dominion are the most caring and helpful people! The caregivers at Dominion have helped my mom to be healthy, glowing, remembering things, and engaged with caregivers and residents. She has new friends and family at Dominion! Friends and I feel welcome to visit anytime. I feel blessed that she is safe and cared for every day!
