Ive been using the services of Nurse Next Door for my mother for little over a year now. Although fairly independent, she has COPD and gets winded when performing even the smallest of housekeeping chores. With my busy schedule, and the distance away from my home, it is difficult for me to check in or help as oftennas I would like. The homemaker from Nurse Next Door performs these tasks for her and gives us both peace of mind. It was difficult to get mom to agree at first, but now, she actually looks forward to the young ladys visits and she enjoys her company as well. She has had the same homemaker the entire time. Shes friendly, reliable, compassionate, and most of all good at cleaning!

Nurse Next Door of Central CT really came through for me when I needed help taking care of my dad. The aide always showed up a little early so we could go over what he needed. She was careful to preserve his dignity and treat him with respect. He needed to have someone stay with him for 5 or 6 hours a night for several days and she managed to do that without making him feel uncomfortable. When we needed someone again after a surgery he asked for the same person.

Nurse Next Door of Central CT is the best. My Mom needed transportation to a new facility this past summer at the last minute and they were right there for me. My Mom has dementia and some other challenges and they knew how to work with her. Not only got her settled into her new home and made sure she was safe they checked in and visited for the next couple of weeks to be sure she was all set. I highly recommend this company - they take care of your loved one like they are family.
