I had the pleasure of visiting The Atrium and touring their beautiful remodeled community. The executive director, Shanique Mightly Is a true professional and knows her business inside and out. She has an amazing team of associates that truly care about their residents. Upon my visit when I went outside to their gorgeous patio and garden area, I saw a group of ladies receiving a wonderful pedicure in the gazebo on such a beautiful day. It warmed my heart. I would highly recommend this community for anyone looking for memory care for a loved one!

I’ve looked at several memory care communities in Rocky Hill surrounding area and by far, The Atrium at Rocky Hill was unlike others. It has a very welcoming feeling when you first walk in, and the community is bright and cheerful. I also noticed the activities that the residents were engaged in and how happy they are. The residents were not in their rooms alone, they were altogether. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Overall, a top pick and I would highly recommend.

I met with Jenny who has been a godsend. She is kind, caring, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. This experience of finding a memory care facility for my mom has been very difficult. She had made herself available to me every step of the way. The nurse who came to assess my mom was also wonderful, Natalie. She was knowledgeable and respected our beliefs to use natural and holistic remedies. So far all the staff I’ve encountered have been wonderful. The facility is very clean, bright, and welcoming. Once my mom is there I’m sure it will be the best place for her.

We placed our mother at The Atrium on October 28th, In less than two weeks, she is is adjusting slowly but steady. The staff has made her stay pleasant, safe and joyful! They are compassionate and caring, which makes my mother feel comfortable. The activities implemented are appropriate and stimulating, to enhance the residents' potential. I've had my mother at the Atrium of Rocky Hill for about three weeks. Right from the start the experience has been excellent. I first met with Jenny, Sara and Shanique who explained everything step by step and how my mother would be cared for. The nursing staff and aides I can't compliment enough, they are very accommodating, they are right there to answer my questions, of which I've had quite a few. Jay and Brandon are always available to help, from hooking up a television to hanging a picture to repairing a wall plug. The community is nicely laid out. It has a warm comfortable feeling about it

We recently made the difficult decision to move my grandmother in. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile and kindness from all of the staff. Her room is spacious and well kept, which gives us peace of mind. There is always someone close by to assist her when needed, which we truly appreciate. One of our main concerns was the food quality, but we are pleased with what she is receiving. Every time I visit, at least one of the staff members knows exactly where she is and brings me right over to her without delay. This level of attentiveness has been fantastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a caring environment for their loved ones.

It was decided to move my Mom to the Atrium about a year and a half ago. During her days since, I always find her out of her room in one of the common areas enjoying the recreation activities offered throughout the day. There is always something going on highlighting various interests and abilities. The caregivers are attentive to each residents needs, always checking on their well being and keeping them engaged. But what I find so endearing are the many times they interact with Mom and others with a playful gesture, a hug, or simply a caress on the arm making them all feel so special. It was a difficult decision to move Mom from her home, but at the Atrium I know she is happy and safe among the many kind and compassionate employees she encounters each and every day.

My husband lived there for almost two years. The staff were kindly and attentive to his needs, and I made friends there among the residents and staff during my daily visits. The facility is bright and clean.

Our mother moved into the Atrium a little over a year ago, and we couldn't be happier with the staff and the program they run there. The staff keeps the residents engaged throughout the day and is very hands-on with each resident. We could not be happier with the facility.

My step-mother always wanted to live at home till she passed but 7/24 in home care didn't work out for her. Now that she has moved to The Atrium, she is flourishing more and more each week. She is smiling more and she is not lonely or bored with just 1 person around. She loves that her bedroom looks just like the one at her house with all her pictures and personal items that mean a lot to her. There are ongoing activities and site-seeing trips that keep her involved and enjoying life. Communications and updates between The Atrium and me are ongoing and I finally feel that I have made the best decision for my step-mom. I feel that those who care for her really do care. No regrets in my decision.
