My step-mother always wanted to live at home till she passed but 7-24 in home care didnt work out for her. Now that she has moved to The Atrium, she is flourishing more and more each week. She is smiling more and she is not lonely or bored with just 1 person around. She loves that her bedroom looks just like the one at her house with all her pictures and personal items that mean a lot to her. There are ongoing activities and site-seeing trips that keep her involved and enjoying life. Communications and updates between The Atrium and me are ongoing and I finally feel that I have made the best decision for my step-mom. I feel that those who care for her really do care. No regrets in my decision.

My mother has vascular dementia and has been at the atrium for one year, I cannot begin to tell you how much compassion and empathy and care the Caregivers give to my mother, Martha the director of nursing has helped me so much navigating thru the home health care agencies with the skilled nursing that is required for my mother special needs. Allison the Administration Director is organized compassionate and on top of it with any questions or issues. The front desk Josie and Casey and Brianna have wonderful customer care and service when organizing a visitation and keeping you safe and the loved one youre visiting and giving you full PPE during your visit! Other dementia assisted living facilities might have a glorious Front door entry but that is not what you look for into a dementia assisted-living! The bedrooms rooms are not cramped but they are close enough so that the caregivers can hear a resident that may need help . There is a beautiful courtyard patio outside where the caregivers take the residents outside and the activities people , Janice, Beth are wonderful engaging the different residents based on their individual abilities. I cant say enough about this place and the people here , they are truly wonderful keeping my mother safe and with good hygiene and care. I thank God every day that my 91 year old mother is alive , and I have another blessed day with her , and I also thank God every day for the wonderful people that take care of my mother at the atrium, AND I am so thankful Mom is not at a nursing home where she would be staring at a wall all day! The Atrium was a very pleasant, comforting community. The staff was kind and caring. Unfortunately, my mother got too sick before being able to move into the community but I highly recommend The Atrium and just wanted to say how grateful I am for all the caring staff.

Visited The Atrium at Rocky Hill! it was so spectacular with the beautiful decor and the residents and staff added to that with their kindness and making me feel comfortable. interviewing can be scary and very . stressful for many. I did not feèl that at all! The staff from top to bottom made certain to say Hello. the young lady who interviewed me was wonderful! The caring towards the residents is and truly àdds to the the beauty! I would be ever so grateful and honored to be a part of the Atrium- Benchmark Team!! The nursing home my friend was at for 16 months closed and I was in a position of looking for a new residence for my dear friend. I visited a combination of eleven nursing and assisted-living homes within a 20-mile radius, one of which was the Atrium. Stopping in one day without an appointment, I was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist, Josie. We spoke for a bit about the need to relocate my friend and she introduced me to the business director, Kayla. Kayla walked me through the Atrium and introduced me to several people. I loved what I observed from the nurses and the RCA's (Resident Care Associate). One of the individuals that Kayla introduced me to was the director of dining, Maureen. Maureen took the time to tell me about the meals and how she and her staff knew the likes and dislikes of each resident and that they offered choices at all meals. I loved everything Maureen had to say and it was apparent she loved her job as well as all the residents. Since the residents are all served inside a lovely dining room right outside the kitchen (not in their bedroom), the meals are served hot and are served as though you were dining in a hotel restaurant. It was then that I knew this was the best possible home that I could find for my friend. The Atrium is lovely; clean and bright and the residents are not encouraged to stay in their room which is a wonderful thing. I have observed that regardless of the staff's job title, it's a true team effort, helping out wherever needed. It has been nearly four months now and I do not regret my decision in the least. Each time I visit my friend and the weather cooperates, we enjoy sitting in the lovely courtyard admiring the many birds and the beautifully maintained yard and flowers. The Atrium has been a blessing for me and my friend.
