Medicaid Can Help with a Kentucky Senior Living Community
Senior living community costs can add up quickly. Many times folks enter a community with specific needs, but those needs can grow and evolve over time. Medicaid helps seniors with limited funds cover health costs. A joint federal and state program, items like long-term care are covered with Medicaid. The Kentucky state Medicaid office can provide additional information as each state maintains its own guidelines.

What residents and loved ones have to say about Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods:
I looked at many, many facilities in the area before choosing Bridgepointe to care for my mother. In the year she has been in care there I am assured each and every day that I made the right decision. Every staff member is so well trained and treats each and every resident with care and compassionate kindness, attending their every need. From the moment one steps through the front door the special bond, not only with the residents, but between staff members as well is palpable. It is evident that each and every staff member truly cares about the residents. A true family atmosphere.

I can’t say enough good things about the Lafayette! Moving my aunt here was one of the best decisions we’ve made. I had a great experience touring the community and they really took their time to answer all of my questions. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, always making sure she feels comfortable and supported. The facility is spotless, well maintained and truly feels like home. The sense of community is wonderful, and my aunt has already made some great friends. I know my family made the right decision. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and reliable independent living community I highly recommend the Lafayette!

What residents and loved ones have to say about Meadowthorpe Assisted Living & Memory Care:
This is a wonderful place. The Cottage set up makes living there much more like living in a home than a huge building. The other residents become “family”. Residents can stay in their apartment if they don’t feel social but come out for meals and activities if they do. This arrangement is so much better than the huge buildings where people may not know one another. The staff are very caring too. A dear friend has been here and I am so grateful for the care that she has been given.

What residents and loved ones have to say about The Homeplace at Midway:
Both of my parents are currently in The Homeplace (Mom in skilled nursing and Dad in Assisted Living). The staff in both houses are extremely kind and caring. They treat all patients with dignity and grace and are very welcoming to family and guests. I visit them nearly every day and I know my parents are being well taken care of. The Homeplace really does feel like a “home” not an institution. I sleep very well at night knowing they are both in the best place available.
