I am extremely happy with BrightStare Care. My mother-in-law is in an independent living facility with the option to move to assisted living. Her preference, of course, is to stay in the independent living facility but she required some help with medication, dressing, showering, etc. I was quite impressed with not only my initial conversations but with our first meet up at the facility. They are very professional, praised my mother-in-law on what she could accomplish on her own and picked up things in her surrounds to get her talking (interests). Never any negative comments. I have now been using BrightStar Care since the end of January and the communications continues to be wonderful. I love Ann Marie, again very positive and reminds us/my mother-in-law that certain things are "ok" or natural at her age. Her memory is going but she can still get to and fro where she needs to be. they have enabled her to stay in a room where she is most comfortable and knows her routine. 5 Starts for sure!!!

I had a major spinal fusion which caused my needing to use BrightStar. Eunice was my caregiver. She was always on time, organized, did not need to be instructed, very caring and extremely helpful. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am and how helpful it was to have someone there when I needed it most. I would absolutely use and recommend BrightStar to anyone in need!

I can't thank Brightstar Care of Norwood enough for the amazing care they are providing for my mom! Tracy is an outstanding aid, going above and beyond her expected responsibilities, and the Director of Nursing really takes the time to understand the client's individual needs and make adjustments along the way until everything is just right. Living out of state makes it very difficult to manage my mom's care, but I know I can rely on Brightstar Care of Norwood to be there. I would recommend them to anyone looking for home health care for their loved ones.

We contacted Brian Silven at BrightStar Norwood because I was being discharged from the hospital and would not be able to fully care for myself for a period of a few weeks. My case was fully evaluated and I was matched with a patient care aide named Paola A. She was a godsend. Paola was kind, compassionate and so helpful. All in all it was a terrific experience. Brian was able to accommodate our needs with a very short lead time, and Paola was highly-skilled and very kind.

Special thanks to Brian Silven for his personal involvement in a very trying day for me. I had scheduled a surgical procedure at Newton Wellesley Hospital and arranged with BrightStar for care during my travel to and from the hospital. Unfortunately, on the day of the procedure, we unexpectedly found that the caretaker assigned was unable to arrive at my home in time for the appointment. Yes, I did panic -- and called Brightstar. Since I could not change the appointment, I informed Brian that I would drive myself to the hospital and deal with the return trip later in the day. Brian intervened and offered to personally pick me up, transport me to the hospital, and provide my return trip following discharge. All in all, everything worked out for me and I hope Brian's day was not completely upset. Brian went beyond the call of duty to alleviate an unexpected crisis, and for that I am very appreciative. He demonstrated a very sensitive response to a stressful client. I am glad he was there when I needed assistance. I would not, and could not, expect that kind of response in most circumstances, but for me that was a crisis. Today is just another day, and now that day is just another day in the past, but it was a notable day of exceptional service and empathy that deserves recognition -- thank you Brian.

I recently had to have a surgical procedure performed at the Eastern Massachusetts Surgery Center in Norwood, MA. After the procedure, I was in a position that I needed someone to transport me from the surgical center to my home (The center would not let me take an UBER). I contacted Brightstar Care Norwood, to make arrangements prior to the procedure and they were awesome! The Surgery Center asked me several times, who is coming to get you. I informed them that I had made arrangements with Brightstar Care. When my procedure was complete, they called the number, and Brightstar was at the surgery center to sign me out and transport me to my home. My 92 year old mother needed daily assistance for two hours, seven days a week. I called around and was met with the same response, " sorry, we can't accommodate such a short visit even though it is seven days a week". Fortunately, I kept at it and found Brightstar as Brian could not have been more understanding and helpful! He personally found care givers that could work that schedule and when some of the match ups with Mom weren't as good a fit as we needed he replaced them with ones that were. On more than one occasion a care giver could not make her shift, primarily due to weather, and when that happened one of the administrative staff or assessment nurses would cover for them. Talk about over the top personal care and customer service! Lastly, when we needed to up the daily visits from two hours a day to twelve hours a day, Brian and his team came through with flying colors and provided a seamless transition with care givers who got to know Mom's daily routine and personal needs and developed a special bond with her. My sisters and I could not be happier with the care and professionalism that Brightstar Care Norwood has provided our family this year, a time during which you are not sure how to begin or to whom you should turn to. Thank you Brightstar!

I live in Florida and my parents live in Massachusetts. It's incredibly difficult to coordinate care for them but once I found Brightstar I could feel confident that they would be well looked after. My parents' aids are kind considerate and knowledgeable. We also have a nurse whom comes once a week to dispense meds so I know they will be taking the correct meds and doses daily.

My Mom needed nursing care, we were new to the area, so went to Google and found Bright Star Care of Norwood. The person that answered the phone Robyn was very kind, professional and compassionate. Mom was very sick, we needed a nurse immediately, but Mom didn't like male nurses. Robyn told us they only use top quality nurses and you will find that Anthony will take great care of your loved one. That was an understatement. Not only did the office make sure Mom was cared for and comfortable, but after she passed made sure the family was taken care of as well. I was so happy that I had someone to turn to. Thanks to Bright Star, Mom died with dignity and people who loved her including her nurse Anthony, and the Nurse manager Robyn, I can't say thanks enough for all the care we all had. I have had Brightstar Care of Norwood for a year now. I am amazed at how great their office has become. I've got a fantastic nurse actually all the nurses are very knowledgeable and very compassionate. My nurse goes out of his way to make sure that patient is comfortable during the whole infusion. He always has a smile on his face, and cracks jokes, because what this elderly woman is going through, is not fun. The nurse manager is the consummate professional, checking to make sure that all doctors orders are up to date and filled in properly so the patient isn't burden with anything more. I highly recommend Brightstar of Norwood for all you patient needs, whether its infusions, or elder care. They came highly recommended to me and I would give them 20 stars if I could.
