I love this place. I was at a point where I could not keep my home up and gardening,repairs etc. I started to fall at home a lot and find I wasn't able to get up. After two terrible falls my family finally talked me into looking into Canterbury Place, an independent living facility in Longview. I did as I knew of this place and love the staff. I moved in March 1 and this is it for me. I feel content for the first time in my life. I'm taken care of and eating like I should. Many activities. The staff are my friends. My mother in law is a new resident at CP. From the first meeting with Diane Craft and tour, my husband and I knew this was the perfect place for his mom. It's not just the quality of the styling, amenities, dining, and activity options, all of which are amazing and luxurious as advertised. It is the people - staff and residents. There truly is a feeling of community here that embraces residents and visitors alike. At every stage of the process to date, our family has been welcomed, supported, and embraced by the Canterbury Park community. It has been such a wonderful transition for my mother in law, as well as our family, to know that she is in a place that is such a wonderful fit for her. Our thanks to Diane, Jeanne, all of the reception staff (and Julie's dog treats), Justin, Erin, and Grant.

We have been here for 5 months, and since the day we moved in it felt like home. There's a genuine sense of community. We have also met more wonderful people in the Last 5 months then we have in the Last 35 years. The staff does an outstanding job, and we xan never thank them enough and the food is really good. If you're thinking about moving here tell them I sent you.

We love it here. Everyone is friendly. Lots to do if you want or very nice apartment to just relax in. And someone else does the cooking. Highly recommend you give us a look.

My sister was a resident at Canterbury Park. She loved living there and the residents quickly became her extended family. The facility is always very clean, the food is very good, and the people that work there are always caring. The activity calendar is filled with a variety of outings, and activities than can be participated in. I highly recommend Canterbury Park.

This place is fabulous, it's almost like living at a resort. The property is impeccably kept, inside and out. The amenities outstandingMy parents moved to Canterbury Park 5 months ago and I've never seen them so happy! Just knowing that they are being taken care of in such a beautiful, safe, fun and caring place gives me peace of mind and warms my heart every time I speak to them to hear how happy and content they are to be living out their twilight years in their new home there. Many thanks to the staff there for taking such great care to make it a wonderful and positive experience each and every day!

Canterbury Park is and amazing place with amazing staff. Extremely friendly and upbeat. The dining room is over the top, like a 5 star restaurant. They have a game room, beauty salon, 24 hour coffee shop, social areas on all the floors, craft room with lots of supplies, and woodshop. Emmetts Garage is beautiful with diamond plate on the walls and a spotless antique car. Everything is clean and sanitized. I would feel very safe there and would recommend any of the Koelsch communities to anyone for themselves or loved ones.

My mother-in-law has lived at Canterbury Park for more than a year and is so happy there. It is a beautiful, luxurious setting at a very fair price. The staff are so warm and friendly — as are the other residents. They all have a lot of fun. We are thankful that such an amazing place exists in our community for independent seniors like our Mom.

Canterbury Park is a beautiful independant living facility here in Longview Wa. If you are wanting a retirement community with great amenities, apartment floor plans that meet your specific needs, a great social environment and restaurant-style meals, Canterbury Park offers this and much, much more, and its pet-friendly, too. I have several clients who live in the Park. When I meet with them I always notice the residents enjoying themselves. The place is alive and upbeat, its very clean and decorated to the age group. It would be an awesome place to retire to.

I had a dear friend that resided at Canterbury Park. The place is beautiful. When you first walk in, Ron is at the information desk to the left side and he can assist you with any questions you may have. You can get a little lost so you may want to ask to be guided to where you wish to go because my friend lives on the 2nd or 3rd floor you can get lost. His apartment was beautiful. It was cute with a small kitchen, nice bedroom, living room washer dryer, fireplace but not the kind for firewood and a nice spacious bathroom with a walk in shower to prevent Falls. Cozy and bright for a couple or one person. Beautiful dining area with menus of course, a game room, TV room and other rooms for private gatherings and plenty of activities to do throughout the day. Canterbury Park has been my home for almost two years. Im still loving it! My first impressions of this independent living facility were, comfortable spacious apartments (with our own washer and dryer, very important,) delicious meals, amazing activities, in the building or on short trips, and a caring, friendly staff. In fact it still reminds me of being on a cruise (fresh cut up fruit every morning) but with spacious living quarters. As important as the staff is, their ability to attract friendly, happy residents is what I appreciate most. Yet whenever I like I have the quiet and privacy of my apartment. Also no bills (just one!) free wi-fi, utilities, no property tax and free trips (cant even tip our amazing driver). I had no idea my senior years would be so fun!
