I had to move my Mom from Florida because she fell and couldnt live alone. I needed her closer to where I live here in Virginia. After searching many places I visited Dominion Villages. I was met by Angie and Loryn who have basically held my hand and helped me immensely navigate this very difficult transition with much more ease. They have been so conscientious, caring and helpful. While in Florida picking up my Mom they facilitated all the paperwork and medical issues and red tape that had to be handled. When we arrived it was late and they had everything ready in her room. All of the staff has been kind, caring, thoughtful and professional. My Mom says even the meals are better than the rehab she was at in Florida. Thank you so much to the entire staff at Dominion Village for your dedication and caring attention to all your residents.Richard Bryant

Transitioning my mother from a whole house to assisted living is hard in itself, but the staff was very understanding and helpful during this transition. I visited many assisted living options, but this place felt like a match for my mother with its home-y atmosphere and friendly residents. It was important for my mom to find a place thatll allow her to bring her pet bird, an African Grey named Gigi. They allowed Gigi to come and the rooms are spacious enough for her cage. The staff and residents drop in to say hello to mom and Gigi. She is very happy here and loves the food. Im glad we found this place.

My grandfather was here for his final few months. The staff was always very warm and caring. They would even FaceTime us and send us pictures. After he passed, the nurses shared many stories about my grandfathers time at Dominion Village that really helped us get through the difficult time. They exceeded our expectations. Dominion Village is top notch!

I have been extremely pleased with my experience at Dominion Village at Chesapeake. My mothers health took a turn and she ultimately could no longer live with me and my family. It was a difficult decision to make. However, Angie, Tara and the rest of the staff made the transition as smooth as possible. They have shown my mom and the rest of my family nothing but compassion, patience and understanding. I would highly recommend it!

We recently moved my mother into Dominion Village. Before deciding on this facility, my brother and I went on a tour of the facility, and then took our mom there for lunch & her own tour. The one thing that stood out on both of our visits was the feeling of home there, and how friendly & interactive the staff were with the residents!! Loryn & Angeline were top notch in answering our numerous questions, and in processing all the paperwork in a timely manner. When mom went for her assessment with Tara, you could hear them laughing down the hall. She made my mom feel very relaxed & comfortable during this process!! All the staff have been superb in making my mom feel welcome & part of a family. The staff & residents are what make Dominion Village a 5-Star community in my opinion!!

My granddad chose this place where he wanted to spend the remainder of his life. This cosy and loveable place put my heart at ease knowing the caring staff would be there for him when we couldnt. They engage their tennants in a variety of activities that keep them active in their golden years. The director Loryn is a godsend and helped our family when his time came to pass. I couldnt think of a better place for my granddad to go! If you have questions, please feel free to stop by for a visit. The staff is more than willing to share their successes with you and alleviate any concerns you may be having.

So thankful to have found this retirement community for my father! Smaller community, staff is very friendly and respectful. The home is well maintained and there is always some one there to assist!!!!

I was very happy to find Dominion Village at Chesapeake. It is a small facility, but that is a great thing. My Dad is not a number as he would be in a larger place. It is also great because he doesnt have to navigate long hallways. The staff treats him with a lot of care and concern. It is also very homey there. A cute front porch and back patio, nice dining area and family room where guests, residents can gather. They make a point to include everyone... Rooms are a little warm... Also a little more entrance attractiveness needed. But OVERALL FANTASTIC place. SO Happy with their service!

Linda Moore has an open door policy. The entire staff are always welcoming and helpful. If my parents were alive this would be the type of environment I would want them to call home.

From the first day we talked to you we were very comfortable with the Director, the staff and the lovely facility. The place was inviting and attractive, unlike some other facilities we have seen. The cooperation of the staff was so pleasant. The real blessing was when we saw how much your entire staff actually cared about my mother. This became immensely obvious during her last few days. Everyone from the front office to the rest of the staff showed us tremendous support. It was as if we were family.
