Waterford was the nicest community l have toured. The building was clean and the yard was well kept. Staff were friendly and residents were well taking cared off. Feels like home environment. Amenities were great. Has the possibility of me living here.

In my opinion through experience with the Waterford , I would like to say the Activities department is a shining star. Giving hope and engagement to the residents different things involving each one with music, crafting , interactive games and their input of ideas that they share and enjoy. I see the smiles and sheer happiness in their faces. Activities is pro active in groups such as reading, gardening, and making treats in the Bistro kitchenette . So important is activities to the residents of this caring community, The Waterford of Virginia Beach. I wanted to give them a shout out.

Walking into The Waterford is very welcoming. You have warm, welcoming, and intuitive staff. They are there to show you that your folks are in good hands. I felt safe leaving my grandma!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Waterford at VA Beach is such a wonderful place to work and live. The staff really cares for the residents and works to provide quality care. The meals are delicious. I eat my lunches there on a regular basis. The community has a rich activity program for Assisted Living and our Memory Care, Magnolia Trails. A resident moved in one day and was already at Bingo the next day! The residents and staff have become like family.

I wish I could give them 10+ stars. Ive never felt more comfortable and safe having a love one in a facility than I do now. The nursing staff is amazing, they provide the absolute best care a person could ask for. I believe the young lady name is Felina she always makes sure I understand everything in my love ones care plan and is very professional… If your looking for a facility THE WATERFORD IS THE PLACE.

The Waterford changed my whole perspective on the experience of placing my loved one at an assisted living facility. I was greeted with Jamie whom instantly helped put me at ease. She was empathetic, caring and kind. Jamie made me feel good about our decision and we knew she would be in good hands. We looked at many facilities and the between the facility and Jamie we knew that another place was not an option. I highly recommend this facility.

The Waterford is a wonderful facility - very pretty setting, always clean and comfortable. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Everyone you see seems to be smiling all the time, even the residents. That says a lot about a place that takes care of our loved ones!

I have worked with Jaime as a Sales Leader in two states and she always does a fantastic job. She is compassionate, loves seniors and always driven to meet the needs of the resident and their family. She will try to help anyone that she can to provide a solution for care. This is a great community option to have as in Virginia Beach.

This is a very spacious and beautiful assisted living facility that is very clean and has some of the most professional staff members with excellent Customer Service skills. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and take their time answering questions and concerns when someone is faced with one of the most difficult decisions on whether or not you are making the right decision to relocate a love one there.

Our mother has called The Waterford home for the past 6 years! The staff is always welcoming and helpful. Its not easy having a loved one in a home, but we know she is being well taken care of, especially during this past year. We are very appreciative of everyone that works there.

Recently, my son and his class had the opportunity to visit with some of the residents, at The Waterford, for Christmas. They took homemade cards and ornaments and sang some Christmas songs. His class had a wonderful visit. The residents were very sweet to his class. Also, the staff were amazing!! They made us feel very welcome. I look forward to the opportunity to go back for another visit soon.

August 10, 2018 Somerford House 501 S Harmony Road Newark, DE 19711 Hello Denise (Williams) As I travel back today (8-10-18) to visit my Mother (Alma L DiStefano Somerford House Apt E4) I realize I have failed to write this letter after my last visit in June 2018. It is long overdue. I want to express my satisfaction and appreciation with the Somerford staff. My Mother has been living at Somerford 1-year July 10, 2018 My sister and I visit often. Being able to stay in our Mothers room (and have a pajama party!) has made a difficult transition as easy as possible. Its a great perk for us girls The staff has been warm and welcoming every visit. The fact that I see the same faces every visit is a comfort. I assume Somerford recognizes and values the staff. I know almost everyone by name and we embrace during each visit. The staff is sincerely and genuine. I imagine Caregiving can sometimes be a thankless job, or we forget to say thank you. The crew at Somerford are worth their weight in gold!!! I am located in Colorado, my other sister travels from Holland, yet when I call I am recognized and made to feel issues will be addressed and greetings pasted along. If you had asked me a year ago if my Mother would except AND like the change to her life I would have told you you were crazy. Maybe the move was harder for me then her . Please know the staff at Somerford is best Kudos to all!!!! The facilities here are absolutely beautiful, clean and humble. Wanda is such an amazing and genuine woman, she truly cares about everyone who calls The Waterford home. If my parents ever needed assisted living, there would be no doubt that I would want them here. This is the first place I've seen where the residents are always so bubbly and energetic. The nursing staff are like family. I recommend The Waterford to all of my friends and families.

This place is absolutely beautiful, no matter which building you are in. The staff is warm and helpful and interact with residents almost continually. There are many activities for the residents to keep their hands and minds busy.
