I recently had the pleasure of touring Brookdale Virginia Beach. When you walk in they make you feel like you are home. Tessie gave me a wonderful tour of the building. The staff were very inviting and very sociable. The HWD answered all my questions that I had about memory care. I love the music playing in the background during the meals. It made the atmospheric feel like fine dining. Brookdale is definitely at the top of my list.

I highly recommend Brookdale in Virginia Beach, VA for any families with memory care needs. Brookdale is beautiful building with a great leadership staff. They are professional and caring. Each resident gets a lot of personal attention and care. They have a lot of different activities to keep our loved ones engaged and a very comfortable courtyard to spend time when it’s nice outside. The staff is very experienced and are prepared to cope with and issues that may arise. It’s conveniently located and the rooms are big. Brookdale reminds me of a home away from home. You can’t go wrong.

I'm endlessly grateful to Michelle, the Executive Director, and the entire caring team at Brookdale Va. Beach. Our Mommy has been at the residence for several years now and she is enjoying each day of life and is in extremely good hands. GRATEFUL! Seeing her engaged with the other residents in activities, singing along to the songs, and getting involved with the daily Trivia Program makes me smile. She is loved and happy. I had an opportunity to visit this facility when looking for a suitable placement for my mother. I spoke with [Name Removed], the Sales Director. She was very professional, and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable with placing my mother at this facility. I must say I was very expressed and would recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for long term care.

Brookdale Virginia Beach is located in a very nice area. The Staff there is very friendly and approachable. They also have excellent customer service skills along with great phone etiquette when you call and inquire about the facility. When I visited the facility it was very clean, spacious and welcoming. I enjoyed greeting, smiling and chatting with the residents. I look forward to volunteering there sometimes in the near future.

Our dad has been here since the beginning of the 2020 and he loves the facility and the staff. Hes not one to mince words so I know he really does . Our family also loves and appreciate the care and attention he is getting. We can call anytime if we have questions or if we want to speak or video chat with him. We also are welcome to meet with anyone when needed if we have concerns. We are very serious about our Dads well being. So we chose Brookdale because they specialize in his illness. Since the pandemic is present, they assure us all the time about the sanitizing and precautions they take to make sure our Dad is safe.

The staff gives good care to the residents. They are treated with love and dignity. They are able to handle residents with strong personalities. It is design as home feel. They always encourage residents to participate in activities. The food could taste better. Overall Im please with how my mother is being care for.

I did some serious research on communities before moving my Aunt to VA. This was the best decision for her. This is more than a home, but extended family. The address any questions that may come up pertaining to my Aunts care, etc. All staff (administration, managers, nurses, medtechs, culinary, housekeeping beyond) are greatly appreciated.

I want to personally thank all of the nurses, medtecs and everyone at Brookdale for taking such wonderful care of my Granny from the moment she got there to the moment she passed away last night! This group is such a special group of people who really care and they sure showed that with my granny! They loved her and she sure loved them, hospice included in here as well! Since my Granny has been there my family has developed so many relationships with staff and residents and will continue to come back and volunteer. My children loved it there and they brought it to my attention that we should keep going back in Grannys memory! I love you all and just cant express my gratitude adequately enough!
